Description

The present invention relates to a fabric and a protective clothing containing the fabric.

Cut-resistant textile fabrics are known. The publication US 6,534,175 B1 discloses a cut-resistant material, wherein in the cut-resistant material, a metal fiber has been processed. The metal fiber is encased by staple fiber, the staple fibers are also cut resistant. The yarn used for the cut-resistant material thus has a so-called sheath / core construction, ie a sheath / core construction. In the non-prepublished publication WO 2005/042816 A1 discloses a cut-resistant material, wherein the cut-resistant material is formed from at least two yarns. The first yarn consists of a cut-resistant staple fiber and at least one elastomeric filament. The second yarn is a sheath / core construction with cut-resistant staple fibers and non-organic fibers. As non-organic fibers, for example, metal fibers are proposed EP-A 0 445 872 describes a protective garment made by weaving, braiding or knitting a twisted composite yarn, wherein the composite yarn comprises at least one wire strand and a spun yarn of a polyolefin having an average molecular weight of at least 600,000 g / mol. Although the protective clothing produced with this composite yarn has a certain flexibility. However, there is a need for protective clothing with even greater flexibility, but the protective effect should not be relieved. Therefore, the object of the present invention is to provide a textile fabric which, with increased flexibility, does not have any penetration of protective effect.

This object is achieved by a textile fabric comprising at least a first and a second twisted yarn, wherein the first and the second twisted yarn contain as a component at least one cut-resistant yarn, and the second twisted yarn contains as a further component a non-cut-resistant yarn, and wherein the non-cut yarn of the second twisted yarn is made of elastofibres.

In the context of the present invention, a cut-resistant or non-cut-resistant yarn is to be understood as meaning a yarn which, processed into a fabric having a basis weight of 800 g / m 2, has a cut resistance of ≥ 1 or <1 determined in accordance with DIN EN 388 ,

The textile fabric according to the invention shows in comparison to the prior art mentioned at the beginning an increased flexibility with at least the same high cut resistance, which was measured according to DIN EN 388.

The first and second twisted yarns may contain as a cut-resistant component at least one filament yarn which may be textured and has a denier ranging, for example, from 20 to 2000 dtex. Preferably, however, the first and second twine contain at least one staple fiber yarn whose titer is, for example, in a range of 140 to 3500 dtex. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the staple fiber yarn is made of an aromatic polyamide, for example, consists of a p-aramid such as Twaron ® or from a polyolefin having an average molecular weight of at least 600,000 g / mol, for example, a polyethylene such as Dyneema ® or from a polypropylene. In this case, staple fibers of other materials may have been added to the aforementioned staple fiber yarns in their manufacture in an amount which does not substantially affect the cut resistance of the staple fiber yarn. Such staple fibers of other materials may be, for example, fibers of an aliphatic polyamide, a polyester, a polylactic acid or fibers of wool or cotton.

Preferably, the first twist of the textile fabric according to the invention contains as further component at least one filament of a cut-resistant material, which particularly preferably consists of steel, ceramic, basalt, aluminum, copper, brass, silver, bronze or glass. Staple fibers from the same materials can also be used as a further component of the first twist.

According to the invention, the non-cut-resistant yarn of the second twisted yarn consists of elastofibres, ie of fibers which are extremely elastic and largely return to their original state after the tensile force has been eliminated. The elastofibers preferably have a titre in the range of 17 to 156 dtex.

The present invention will be further illustrated in the following examples.

Beispiel 1example 1

To make a glove, a first twist is first made in a two-step twisting process. For this purpose, in the first stage, two filaments of metal filament (titers each 150 dtex), which are available under the name Bekinox from Bekaert, and two staple fiber yarns (titers each 357 dtex) from p-aramid, which under the name Twaron of the Company Teijin Twaron are available, twisted. The resulting twist is then twisted in the second stage with two twisted p-aramid staple fiber yarns of the aforementioned type, whereby the first twist is obtained.

To produce a second twist, an elastane yarn (titre = 78 dtex), which is available under the name Dorlastan from Dorlastan Fibers, with two staple fiber yarns (titers each 357 dtex) of p-aramid, by the company Teijin Twaron under Twaron, twisted.

The first and second twine are fed together and in parallel to a knitting machine and knitted into a glove with a needle spacing of 7 needles per 2.54 cm. The glove has a weight of 32.9 g, a basis weight of 508 g / m 2 , a knit thickness of 1.74 mm and in sticks and row has a mesh density of 4 stitches per cm.

In the manner just described, gloves were made, referred to hereinafter as Type I gloves.

On the Type I gloves, the cut resistance was measured according to DIN EN 388. Glove type I showed the lowest average cut index of 20.9 for ten measurements, which corresponds to the highest ladder level 5. The lowest individual index is 13.1. Thus, this glove is classified in terms of cut resistance in the second highest performance level 4.

This example shows that gloves made according to the invention have a higher cut resistance than gloves known from the prior art. Moreover, gloves made in accordance with the present invention have greater flexibility, i. a higher wearing comfort than known from the prior art gloves.

Beispiel 2Example 2

To make a glove, a first twist is first made in a two-step twisting process. For this purpose, in the first stage, two filaments of metal filament (titers each 150 dtex), which are available under the name Bekinox from Bekaert, and two staple fiber yarns (titers 200 dtex each), 70% by weight of polylactic acid (PLA ) Staple fibers, available under the name Ingeo from Cargill Dow, and consisting of 30% by weight of p-aramid staple fibers available under the name Twaron from Teijin Twaron. The resulting twist is then twisted in the second stage with two twisted p-aramid staple fiber yarns of the aforementioned type, whereby the first twist is obtained.

To prepare a second twisted yarn, an elastane yarn (titre = 78 dtex), which is available under the name Dorlastan from Bayer, with two staple fiber yarns (titers of 200 dtex each) containing up to 70% by weight of polylactic acid (PLA) Staple fibers, available under the name Ingeo from Cargill Dow, and consisting of 30% by weight of p-aramid staple fibers available from Teijin Twaron under the name Twaron.

The first and second twine are fed together and in parallel to a knitting machine and knitted into a glove with a needle spacing of 7 needles per 2.54 cm. The glove has a weight of 20.6 g, a basis weight of 360 g / m 2 , a knit thickness of 1.56 mm and has a mesh density of 5.5 sticks / cm and 3.5 rows / cm.

On two gloves produced in this way, a cut resistance of at least 4.8 was measured according to DIN EN 388. Thus, these gloves are classified in the performance level 2 in terms of cut resistance.

This example shows that, even if yarns are used in the first and in the second yarn, the yarns produced according to the invention are composed of only 30% by weight of a cut-resistant material (p-aramid staple fibers) and 70% by weight of non-staple fibers. cut resistant material (PLA), after all, still have a cut resistance of the power level 2, and this with a weight of only 20.6 g.

Beispiel 3Example 3

To produce a glove, a first twist is first produced in a one-step twisting process. For this purpose, two filaments of metal filament (titers each 150 dtex), which are available under the name Bekinox from Bekaert, and two textured filament yarns (titers each 550 dtex) from p-aramid, under the name Twaron from Teijin Twaron are available, twisted.

To produce a second twist, an elastane yarn (titre = 78 dtex), which is available under the name Dorlastan from Bayer, with a filament yarn (titre 550 dtex) from p-aramid, by the company Teijin Twaron under the name Twaron is available, twisted.

The first and second twine are fed together and in parallel to a knitting machine and knitted into a glove with a needle spacing of 7 needles per 2.54 cm. The glove has a weight of 24.9 g, a basis weight of 479 g / m 2 , a knitting thickness of 2.1 mm and has a mesh density of 3.5 rows / cm and 6.5 rods / cm.

On two gloves produced in this way, a cut resistance of at least 14.4 was measured according to DIN EN 388. Thus, these gloves are classified in terms of cut resistance in the second highest performance level 4.

This example shows that gloves produced according to the invention can be made with a 4 stage cut resistance weighing only 24.9 g.

Beispiel 4Example 4

To produce a glove, a first twist is first produced in a one-step twisting process. For this purpose, a thread made of metal filament (titers each 150 dtex), which is available under the name Bekinox from Bekaert, and two staple fiber yarns (titers 200 dtex) from p-aramid, which are available under the name Twaron from Teijin Twaron are, twisted.

To produce a second twist, an elastane yarn (titre = 78 dtex), which is available under the name Dorlastan from Dorlastan Fibers, with two staple fiber yarns (titers each 357 dtex) of p-aramid, by the company Teijin Twaron under Twaron, twisted.

The first and second twine are fed together and in parallel to a knitting machine and with a needle spacing of 13 needles per 2.54 cm to one Glove entangled. The glove has a weight of 20.9 g, a basis weight of 347 g / m 2 , a knit thickness of 1.21 mm and has a stitch density of 8 stitches per cm in the billet direction and a mesh density of 6.5 stitches per cm in the row direction on.

According to DIN EN 388, a cut resistance of at least 6.9 was measured on five gloves produced in this way. Thus, these gloves are classified in terms of cut resistance in the third highest performance level 3.

Comparison of this example with Example 1 shows that the gloves of Example 4 still have a Class 3 cut resistance, despite having a 32% reduced basis weight and a 36% reduction in weight. Thus, Example 3 shows that gloves according to the invention can be produced which have a cut resistance in the third highest performance level with a very high wearing comfort and with a very high dexterity, i. with a very high mobility and grasping ability, unite.

Beispiel 5Example 5

To produce a glove, a first twist is first produced in a one-step twisting process. For this purpose, two threads of metal filament (titers each 150 dtex), which are available under the name Bekinox from Bekaert, and four staple fiber yarns (titers each 357 dtex) from p-aramid, which are available under the name Twaron from Teijin Twaron are, twisted.

Gloves were produced in the manner just described and the cut resistance was measured in accordance with DIN EN 388. The gloves produced a lowest average cut index of 20.9 for ten measurements, which corresponds to the highest level 5. The lowest individual index is 13.1. Thus, these gloves are classified in terms of cut resistance in the second highest performance level 4.

This example shows that gloves made according to the invention have a higher cut resistance than gloves known from the prior art. Moreover, gloves made in accordance with the present invention have greater flexibility, i. a higher wearing comfort than known from the prior art gloves.

Beispiel 6Example 6

To produce a glove, a first twist is first produced in a one-step twisting process. For this purpose, two filaments of metal filament (titers each 150 dtex), which are available under the name Bekinox from Bekaert, and four staple fiber yarns (titers each 200 dtex) containing up to 70 wt .-% of polylactic acid (PLA) staple fibers, the available under the name Ingeo from Cargill Dow, and consisting of 30% by weight of p-aramid staple fibers available under the name Twaron from Teijin Twaron.
