Die Vereinzelungstrommel 17 dreht sich im Uhrzeigersinn und die Greiferpaare 19a und 19b öffnen und schließen sich kurvengesteuert und übernehmen dabei das vom Sauggreifer 13 angebotene gefalzte Ende des Falzbogens 16b, wobei sie ihn aus dem Stapel 6 herausziehen. Diese Situation ist in der Figur 3 dargestellt, wo der Greifer 29a das Nachfalzende des Falzbogens 16c bereits ergriffen hat, während der den gesamten Falzbogen übergreifende so genannte Deckgreifer 29b in seiner Schließbewegung beim Ergreifen des Vorfalzes dargestellt ist. Claims (7)

  1. Saddle stitcher comprising a signature feeder (10) and a device for transferring the signatures (16) from the feeder to the transport device (22) of the saddle stitcher, the device including multiple shafts or drums (17, 27, 37) with grippers (19, 29, 39) for gripping the signatures (16) and for opening the latter and positioning them on the transport device (22) in a straddling formation,
