Indem somit als Führungsgröße die von der Bandbewegung bzw. -geschwindigkeit bewirkten horizontalen Kräfte aktuell erfasst und mittels der Steuerung und dem übergeordneten Regelkreis unmittelbar sogleich die Bandgeschwindigkeit entsprechend verändert und angepasst wird, so daß die horizontalen Kräfte gegen Null gehen, lässt sich erreichen, daß keine Zwangskräfte auf das Metallband ausgeübt werden. Die permanente Anpassung der Band- und damit auch Einrollgeschwindigkeit aufgrund der gemessenen horizontalen Kräfte ermöglicht es, daß die Bandeinrollmaschine kaum noch, bestenfalls gar keine, linearen Verfahrbewegungen durchführen muß. daß die auf die Bandeinrollmaschine (16) beim Ausfördern des Metallbandes (4) wirkenden horizontalen Kräfte (HF) gemessen werden und mittels der übergeordneten Steuerung (9) abhängig von den Messwerten die Geschwindigkeit des abgezogenen Metallbandes (4) so geregelt wird, daß die gemessene horizontale Kraft (HF) gegen Null gehalten wird.

daß der Bandeinrollmaschine (16) eine mit der übergeordneten Steuerung (9) verbundene, die beim Ausfördern des Metallbandes (4) auf die Bandeinrollmaschine (16) wirkenden horizontalen Kräfte (HF) ermittelnde Messeinrichtung (22) zugeordnet ist.
