Abstract

Claims (11)

  1. A kneader (1) with a fixed vessel, in particular intended for the mixture of humid or dry components, for instance cement or silica sand, for obtaining concrete, comprising :
    - a fixed vessel (2) wherein are inserted the different components to be kneaded,
    - at least one kneading rack (3) exhibiting a rotary shaft (9) and at least one arm (4) fitted with blades (5), intended for stirring the mixture components present in the vessel (2), the kneading rack (3) being driven into simple or complex rotation by a driving device (30),
    - said rotary shaft (9) and its hub (10) protruding at least partially inside the vessel (2), the inlet of the shaft (9) co-operating with the driving device (30), the outlet of the shaft (9) being interconnected, directly or indirectly, of said at least one arm (4),
    characterised in that the kneading rack (3) exhibits, moreover, a pan (13) interconnected with said rotary shaft (9) and revolving therewith, said pan (13) forming a waterproof cover intended for covering said shaft (9) and its hub (10) in the vessel (2) in order to protect them.
  2. A kneader (1) according to claim 1, wherein the kneader (1) exhibits one or several nozzles (70) fixed relative to the vessel (2), for the projection of a pressurised liquid, and designed for cleaning the kneading rack (3), pan (13) included, when said rack is driven by a rotational movement, in particular for cleaning agglomerated pulverulent matters.
  3. A kneader (1) according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the hub (10) of the rotary shaft (9) of the kneading rack (3) is formed by a tubular element (40) exhibiting a shoulder (41) at one of its ends for the fastening thereof to one of the internal walls of the vessel (2) and whereof the internal diameter forms a cage for the reception of one or several bearings (42) intended for ensuring the guiding of said rotary shaft (9).
  4. A kneader (1) according to any of the claims 1 to 3, wherein the vessel (2) exhibits a bottom wall, at least one lateral wall and an upper wall covering, at least partially, the bottom wall, the kneading rack (3) protruding downwards from the upper wall for stirring the components contained in the vessel (2).
  5. A kneader according to claim 4, wherein the pan (13) forms a bracket for the arm(s) (4) of the kneading rack (3).
  6. A kneader according to claim 5, wherein the arm(s) (4) of the kneading rack (3) are slaved radially on the lateral wall (14) of the pan (13) above the level of the lower end of the rotary shaft (9).
  7. A kneader according to claim 5, wherein the kneading rack (3) exhibits several arms (4) star-distributed.
  8. A kneader according to any of the claims 1 to 7, wherein the upper free edge of the pan (13) and one of the internal walls of the vessel (2) are associated by means of a revolving seal (15).
  9. A kneader according to claim 8, wherein the revolving seal (15) is formed by a rim element (16) arranged around the rotary shaft (9) and fixed to one of the internal walls of the vessel (2), said rim assembly (16) exhibiting a circular inner shoulder (17) provided for co-operating tightly rotatably with an outer circular shoulder (18) of the upper free edge of said pan (13) so as to provide a baffle plate (19) for fluids.
  10. A kneader according to claim 9, wherein the revolving seal (15) exhibits a flexible tubular seal (20) whereof the internal diameter covers said baffle plate (19).
  11. A kneader (1) according to any of the claims 1 to 10, wherein the vessel is cylindrical, said kneading rack (3) being off-centred relative to the axis of symmetry (6) of the vessel, wherein the driving device enables to drive the kneading rack (3) with a complex, epicycloid rotational movement, and wherein:
    - the driving device is formed by a toothed ring (7) and a toothed wheel (8),
    - the ring (7) is mobile rotatably and capable to act as a support for the kneading rack (3) for putting said rack into rotation, in the vessel (2), said at least one kneading rack (3) being mounted freely rotatably around itself, directly or indirectly, on said ring (7),
    - said wheel (8) is fixed and provided coaxial to said ring (7) the kneading rack (3) exhibiting a receiving pinion (12) which meshes around said wheel, the torque thus received from the pinion causing the kneading rack (3) to rotate around itself.
