- the pipe clamp 20 and an inserted into this clamp 20 fishing rod thus have maximum distance from the roof surface. This is an advantage if larger thicknesses of the snow layer are the rule. If the distance of the fishing rod of the roof surface can be reduced, the plate of the holder 22 can be shortened, to which the pipe clamp 20 opposite end of the holder 22 predetermined breaking lines 32 are provided which reduce the material thickness of the plate of the holder 22 and a cancel of the Halters 22 allow.
- the predetermined breaking lines 32 in the illustrated embodiment, two predetermined breaking lines 32, parallel to the end of the holder 22. If the holder 22 shortened by breaking one of the predetermined breaking lines 32, the holder 22 on the fishing edge 14 of the snow stopper 10 further down against the roof surface to be moved, which also reduces the distance between the pipe clamp 20 and an inserted into the pipe clamp 20 fishing rod of the roof surface. A minimal distance of the pipe clamp 20 and the fishing rod of the roof surface can be obtained by the holder 22 relative to the representation of FIGS. 1 and 2 rotated by 180 ° on the snow stopper 10 is placed. Thus adjoins the pipe clamp 20 supporting end of the holder 22 to the roof surface and the pipe clamp 20 and the inserted fishing rod extend at a minimum distance above the roof surface. The reduction of the distance of the fishing rod from the roof surface may be advantageous to retain even thinner snow layers and in particular thinner ice sheets.
- FIG. 8 a modified embodiment of the pipe clamp 20 is shown.
- the holder 22 corresponds to the embodiment described above.
- the pipe clamp 20 is not formed in this embodiment as a ring-shaped closed sleeve, but with two resilient arms 34 which engage around the catch rod used or the catch tube only over a little more than half the circumference.
- the catch rod or the catch tube can be snapped into this embodiment in the pipe clamp 20, to which the catch rod is pressed against the arms 34 and spreads them apart until the catch rod is received in the clamp 20 and the arms 34 snap back and can surround the catch rod ,

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a snow guard device for inclined roof surfaces according to the preamble of claim 1.
With sloping rooftops there is a risk that snow and ice slip off the roof surface and cause personal injury and property damage. In order to reduce these risks snow guards are used. On the one hand, so-called snowstoppers are known, which are arranged at a distance and anchored in the roof surface and, above all, prevent the slipping of the snow on the roof surface. Furthermore, safety grills and safety rods are known, which are preferably mounted along the lower edge of the roof surface and are intended to prevent snow or ice from slipping over the edge of the roof and falling down.

The invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a snow guard device, in which a retrofitting existing snowstop with air sockets is possible.
This object is achieved by a snow catcher with the features of claim 1.
Advantageous embodiments and further developments of the invention are specified in the subclaims.
The essential idea of the invention is to provide a pipe clamp which can be retrofitted to the snow stoppers. In this clamp then a fishing rod, which is generally designed as a tube can be used. There are two advantages in particular. On the one hand roof surfaces, which are already equipped with snowstops, can be retrofitted with airbags without the need to replace or change the existing snowstopper. Interventions in the roofing are therefore not required. Secondly, the same snowstoppers can be used to only function as a snow stopper or to serve as a mounting means for air termination rods. This simplifies the manufacturing and storage costs.
The term "pipe clamp" is to be understood in the context of the present invention, each element which receive the catch rod or the catch tube, at least enclose and hold over part of the circumference.
The snowstoppers have an upwardly directed catching edge, which is preferably substantially perpendicular to the roof surface and against which the snow load presses. The clamps are attached to this upstream catching edge of the snowstop, since thereby the snow load acting on the catch rods on the clamps on the snow stoppers is supported. In addition, the clamps are pressed against the snow stopper, so that the attachment of the clamps to the snow stoppers is not claimed by the snow loads, which is particularly important in snapped clamps.
If the snowstoppers are bent in a manner known per se as a bracket from a metal band, the pipe clamps are preferably fastened to this metal band. A particularly installation-friendly attachment preferably results from the fact that the pipe clamps are formed with a plate-shaped holder, which is placed on the metal strip and engages behind the edge of the metal strip with resilient locking tabs. The clamps can be snapped onto the snow stopper in this attachment in a simple manner.
The clamps and their holders are preferably formed in one piece. They can be made of plastic or metal.
The clamps may be formed as a closed annular sleeves. In this case, the interception rods are inserted into these annular clamps. Preferably, in this case the interception rods are formed as pipe sections, so that a plurality of pipe sections can be plugged together end to form large pipe lengths.
In another embodiment, the clamps surround only a part of the circumference, so that they are formed by two resilient arms. In this case, the catch rod can be snapped into the auseinanderschreizbare clamp. In particular, in this embodiment, it is advantageous if the opening gap of the pipe clamp is directed upstream, since in this arrangement, the acting on the fishing rod snow load the catch rod can not push out of the clamp.
The snow guard device according to the invention is suitable for a large number of differently designed snowstoppers. In particular, the pipe clamps according to the invention can also be used in a variety of already on the market snowstoppers. The patent protection should therefore extend to the pipe clamps alone as a retrofit article.

In the illustrated embodiment, the

The
