Rolling mill (1) for rolling metallic material (2), which comprises at least one roll stand (3) as well as a conveying path (4), which extends over a predetermined length (L) on either side of the roll stand (3), for the material (2) to be rolled, characterised in that at least one receiving device (5) for a coil (6) of the metallic material (2) is arranged in the region of the length of the conveying path (4), which device can be arranged in a first position (A) in which it does not prevent conveying of the metallic material (2) along the conveying path (4) and in a second position (B) in which it positions the coil (6) near the roll stand (3) on the conveying path (4) for unwinding and winding up the coil (6).
  2. Rolling mill according to claim 1, characterised in that the at least one receiving device (5) is arranged on a lifting device (7) by which it can be positioned at a desired height in vertical direction.
  3. Rolling mill according to claim 2, characterised in that at least one strip guide roller (8), particularly a driven strip guide roller, is arranged on the lifting device (7).
  4. Rolling mill according to claim 3, characterised in that the at least one strip guide roller (8), in the lowered position of the lifting device (A), arranged at the height of the other rollers (9) of the conveying path (4).
  5. Rolling mill according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised by a hot trimming cutter (10) which is provided with displacing means (11), particularly stroke means, by which it can moved into working position (A) or moved out of this (B).
  6. Rolling mill according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised by strip support means and/or strip drive means and/or strip straightening means which are provided with displacing means (13), particularly stroke means, by which they can be moved into working position (B) or moved out of this (A).
  7. Rolling mill according to claim 6, characterised in that the strip support means and/or strip drive means and/or strip straightening means (12) comprise a bridle roller combination, particularly a 4-roller bridle roller combination, with drive fitted thereon.
  8. Rolling mill according to any one of claims 3 to 7, characterised by at least one counter-roller (14) which co-operates with the strip guide roller (8) and which is displaceable, particularly in vertical direction, and positionable at a predetermined height.
  9. Rolling mill according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that it comprises means for supply of the rolls (15, 16) of the roll stand (3) and/or of the material (2), which is to be rolled, with a coolant and/or lubricant, wherein these means are selectively switchable over for supply with rolling oil or supply with emulsion.
