- e. Einstellen des festgestellten aktuell einzustellenden Datums an der Datumsanzeige ausgehend von der Referenzposition, in die die Datumsanzeige verbracht wurde, nachdem die Notwendigkeit eines Batteriewechsels festgestellt wurde.

- e) Mittel zum automatischen Einstellen des festgestellten Datums an der Datumsanzeige ausgehend von der Referenzposition

Claims (12)
- Method for automatically setting a date display of a radio-controlled timepiece, after changing the battery, comprising the following automatic method steps:a. establishing the need to change the batteryb. bringing the date display into a predetermined reference positionc. establishing that the battery has been changedd. establishing the date which is to be currently set on the date display, wherein the date to be currently set on the date display is established as a result of receiving a time signal transmitted by a time signal transmitter,e. setting the established date on the date display from the reference position.
- Method according to claim 1, characterised in that the need to change the battery is established by directly measuring a battery voltage under load.
- Method according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterised in that the need to change the battery is established by evaluating drive pulses required for a motor drive.
- Method according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the predetermined reference position is stored in a memory.
- Method according to any ona of the preceding claims, characterised in that the effected change of battery is established by directly measuring the battery voltage under load.
- Method according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the effected change of battery is established by evaluating drive pulses required for the motor drive.
- Device for automatically setting a date display of a radio-controlled timepiece, after changing the battery, comprising:a. means for automatically establishing the need to change the battery,b. means for automatically bringing the date display into a predetermined reference position,c. means for automatically establishing that the battery has been changed,d. means for automatically establishing the date to be currently set on the date display, the means for establishing the date to be currently set on the date display comprise a receiving device which receives a time signal transmitted by a time signal transmitter, ande. means for automatically setting the established date on the date display, starting from the reference position.
- Device according to claim 7, characterised in that the means for establishing the need to change the battery comprise a measuring device which measures the battery voltage under load.
- Device according to claim 7 or claim 8, characterised in that the means for establishing the need to change the battery comprise an evaluation device which evaluates drive pulses required for a motor drive.
- Device according to any one of claims 7 to 9, characterised in that a memory is provided, in which the predetermined reference position is stored.
- Device according to any one of claims 7 to 10, characterised in that the means for establishing that the battery has been changed comprise a measuring device which measures the battery voltage under load.
- Device according to any one of claims 8 to 11, characterised in that the means for establishing that the battery has been changed comprise an evaluation device which evaluates drive pulses required for a motor drive.
