Claims (7)

  1. Front lay mark for alignment of sheets, which are conveyed in a sheet transport direction on a feed table, according to the front edge, wherein a family of front lay marks (1) distributed over the width of the feed table (2) is cyclically movable between an alignment position at the feed table (2) and a detent position spaced from the feed table (2) and is arranged to follow a speed profile (22) and the front lay marks (1) in their situation in the alignment position are in contact with abutment means (14) settable within a setting range (s), characterised in that the speed profile (22) is such that the front lay marks (1) run through the setting range (s) of the abutment means (14) at a constant speed.
  2. Front lay marks according to claim 2, characterised in that the speed profile (22) has at least one first plateau (20) and at least one second plateau (21) such that the first plateau substantially corresponds with the constant speed (v) of the front lay marks when running through the setting range (s) in the direction of the detent position and the second detent substantially corresponds with the constant speed (v) of the front lay marks when running through the setting range (s) in the direction of the alignment position.
  3. Front lay marks according to claim 2, characterised in that the first plateau (20) and the second plateau (21) are of the same size in terms of amount.
  4. Front lay mark according to claim 1, characterised in that the front lay marks (1) are arranged on a lay marks shaft (7) and the lay marks shaft (7) is associated with a lay marks drive (11) driving this at the speed profile (22).
  5. Front lay mark according to claim 4, characterised in that the drive of the lay marks shaft (7) is carried out by means of a lay marks transmission (12) constructed as a coupling transmission.
  6. Front lay mark according to claim 4, characterised in that the drive of the lay marks shaft (7) is carried out by means of a cam gear.
  7.
