Claims (8)

  1. A method for operating a printing press, more preferably a sheet-fed printing press with a plurality of printing couples, wherein each printing couple comprises a printing cylinder (3), a transfer cylinder (2), a form cylinder (1), an inking couple (4) and if applicable a dampening system (5), and wherein in at least one of the printing couples an additional processing device (10) designed as coating device is integrated in such a manner that the respective printing couple in a first operating mode serves for the printing of the substrate with selected inking couple (4) or in a second operating mode for the additional processing, more preferably for the coating of the substrate with deselected inking couple (4), characterized in that in the second operating mode the inking couple (4) and if applicable the dampening system (5) are decoupled on the drive end and stopped.
  2. The method according to Claim 1, characterized in that in the first operating mode the printing cylinder (3), the transfer cylinder (2), the form cylinder (1), the inking couple (4) and if applicable the dampening system (5) are driven via a main drive of the printing press, wherein in the second operating mode the inking couple (4) and if applicable the dampening system (5) are decoupled from the main drive and stopped.
  3. The method according to Claim 2, characterized in that in the second operating mode the form cylinder (1) is also decoupled from the main drive, wherein the form cylinder (1) is then stopped or for carrying out a printing plate change or for synchronisation with the main drive is driven by an auxiliary drive assigned to said main drive.
  4.   5. The method according to Claim 4, characterized in that in the second operating mode the form cylinder (1) is also stopped.

The method according to any one or several of the Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that in the second operating mode the form cylinder (1) is disengaged from the transfer cylinder (2) and in that furthermore ink form rollers (8) of the inking couple (4) are disengaged from the form cylinder (1).
  7. The method according to any one or several of the Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that upon a transfer from the first operating mode into the one second operating mode the inking couple (4) and if applicable the dampening system (5) are automatically decoupled and stopped.
  8. The method according to any one or several of the Claims 1 to 7, characterized in that upon a transfer from the first operating mode into the second operating mode the form cylinder (1) is automatically disengaged from the transfer cylinder (2) just as the ink form rollers (8) of the inking couple (4) are automatically disengaged from the form cylinder (1).
