Description

The invention relates to a device for filling and removal of containers for sorted consignments according to the preamble of claim 1.

In sorting machines for flat consignments, the consignments are sorted according to the destinations (address) in sorting compartments arranged along a sorting path and designated as sorting stations. As soon as a sorting bin is filled with consignments during the sorting operation, it must be emptied. The items are manually removed from the bin and placed in a container located on a holder. Each bin has such a bin. For filling, the container is pulled out transversely to the sorting section. For this purpose, telescopically extendable devices for filling containers have been known (US Pat. DE 199 01 444 C1 . US 4,518,160 ). The staff stands on the side of the container before the preceding or subsequent sorting. Until a container is finally filled, there may be several fillings.

Sobald der Behälter vollständig gefüllt ist, muss er abgeführt werden ( DE 199 61 513 C1 )Once the container is completely filled, it must be removed ( DE 199 61 513 C1 )

This often happens manually. The filled container is lifted and placed, for example, on an opposite conveyor or on a shelf. This activity is physically exhausting due to the weight of the filled containers.

Therefore, a device has been known which reduces the burden on the staff when filling and removing the filled containers ( EP 1 243 349 A1 ). The container is transferred by means of a complex lift mechanism from its buffer position to a laxative transport. This is also technically complex, since during the container removal no manual access to the container may be possible.

In addition, is off EP 0 899 026 A1 It is known to transfer a container from a ready position horizontally into a filling position and from there horizontally onto a conveyor belt serving to remove the containers.

The invention has for its object to provide a device for filling and removal of containers for sorted shipments, takes place while maintaining the possibility of manual filling of the container removal of the full container with little effort without physical effort.

According to the invention the object is achieved by the features of claim 1.

Below each one or more superimposed sorting end points is a holding mechanism with an extendable part for receiving a container. The extendable part of the holding mechanism comprises a frame with rotatable support rollers on which the container is slidably mounted. The support rollers are arranged in height so that the container is inclined in the rest position to a stop at the front free end of the extendable part. On the fixed part of the holding mechanism, one or more driving rollers for transporting the containers are rotatably mounted rearwardly on an axis so that the drive roller support surface is slightly increased relative to a line connecting the roller surfaces of the support rollers. Behind the drive rollers, at least one further roller is provided counter to the withdrawal direction, the bearing surface is located below the support surface of the drive rollers. Behind the rear last further role then the storage and transport device along the sorting end points is arranged.

Advantageous embodiments of the invention are set forth in the subclaims.

So it is advantageous if the storage and transport device is designed as parallel to the juxtaposed Sortierendstellen running, controlled driven transport path, to which the containers on the drive rollers and the other rollers.

It is also advantageous if the extendable part of the holding mechanism has a low-cost telescopic extension mechanism.

In order to ensure a safe removal of the containers without additional security measures for the operating forces, it is advantageous to choose the coefficient of friction between the drive roller and the container so that the force exerted on the container force does not exceed a specified amount.

So that the operating forces do not constantly have to observe the storage and transport device, it is advantageous if, after manual release of the removal of a container, the process is automatically started only when the storage and transport device is ready to shoot.

Subsequently, the invention will be explained in an embodiment with reference to the drawing.

Show
FIG. 1
a schematic sectional view of a sorting device at a sorting end,
FIG. 2
a schematic representation of the height relationships on the drive roller with a container.

As in FIG. 1 shown, the sorting device has a number of juxtaposed subjects as sorting 7. The sorting device has below each sorting compartment 7 a holding mechanism on the extendable part 6, a container 1 for receiving the mail items from the sorting 7 is located. This extendable part 6 has a telescopic extension and support rollers 5, on which the container 1 is mounted. The telescopic extension is maximally extendable so that the container 1 located on it is then in front of the sorting end 7 for convenient loading. If a sorting end 7 has reached a certain degree of filling, a signal is triggered by means of a fill level sensor, not shown, and the operator pulls out the extendable part 6 with the empty or partially filled container 1 and empties the sorting end 7 into the extendible position on the extended state Part 6 of the holding mechanism standing container 1 (Phase B). As can be seen, the container 1 is mounted on the support rollers 5 so that it is inclined forwardly and abuts against a mounted at the front free end of the extendable part 6 of the holding mechanism stop 8. By this roller arrangement, the container 1 has on the extendable part 6 of the holding mechanism during its movement a relatively safe and stable position. Due to the inclination of the container 1 and the consignments 2 in the container 1 have an aligned position to the front narrow side wall of the container 1 out. After loading the container 1 is pushed back under the sortiertstelle 7. This can be done several times until the container 1 is full. Again FIG. 1 can be seen at the rear fixed part of the holding mechanism two jointly driven drive rollers 4 rotatably arranged so that they are located below the rear part of the fully inserted container 1. Compared to the tangential connecting line of the support rollers 5, the drive roller bearing surface has a small height offset. As a result, when inserting the extendable part 6, the rear part of the container 1 by the small amount h (see FIG. 2 ) and thus supported in the retracted state only on the drive roller 4 and located on the stop 8 front support roller 5 from. To the other support rollers 5, the container bottom has different small distances s. If a partially filled container 1 to be reloaded, the container receptacle is pulled out, the container 1 is lowered by the amount h and is based again only on the support rollers 5 from. The drive roller 4 has a large diameter and is easily rotatable in the non-driven state, whereby the tangent angle from the point of impact of the container 1 during insertion is small and this unrolls on insertion and removal on the drive rollers 4 and does not slide. If the container 1 is provided for removal, the drive of the drive rollers 4 is activated when the container 1 is inserted (phase A). By the bearing force of the container 1 on the drive rollers 4 takes place by friction, a power transmission from the drive rollers 4 to the container 1 and the container 1 moves to the rear over other rollers 9 slightly inclined to run as a roller conveyor storage and transport device 3 (phase C). The friction coefficient between the drive rollers 4 and the container 1 and, if necessary, the peripheral speed of the drive rollers 4 and drive power are designed so that a minimum transport force is maintained and a specified maximum transport force is not exceeded. As a result, a safe removal of the container 1 is ensured without additional security measures for the operating forces are necessary. On the roller conveyor of the storage and transport device 3 are not shown sensors for detecting containers 1, which are connected to the drive control of the drive rollers 4 and release the drive of the respective drive rollers 4 only when the roller conveyor for receiving the respective container 1 is free ,
