Abstract

Figure imgaf001
The invention relates to a fuel injection system comprising a high - pressure fuel pump unit (1, 2) with a fuel feed pump (1) and a high - pressure fuel pump (2), a fuel filter (4) upstream of the high - pressure fuel pump unit (1, 2) and a venting device (5) between the high-pressure fuel pump unit (1, 2) and the fuel filter (4) is arranged, wherein the venting device (5) is designed as a directional control valve (5 '). The directional control valve (5 ') combines the venting function with a temperature measurement of the fluid flow. For this purpose, the directional control valve (5 ') comprises a temperature sensor (6).
