Der Stofflöser ist dann besonders für Konsistenzen zwischen 2 und 6 % geeignet. Beim Betrieb werden Papierstoff S und Wasser W in den Behälter 1 des Stofflösers eingetragen. Die fertige pumpfähige Suspension wird durch die Sieböffnungen des Siebes 10 hindurch als Gutstoff G abgezogen. Eine andere ebenfalls vorteilhafte Ausführungsform der Erfindung ist ein Stofflöser mit mindestens einem seitlich angebrachten Rotor gemäß Fig. 5 mit einem liegenden Behälter 1'. Ein liegender Behälter kann z.B. unter einer Papiermaschine zur Auflösung von Produktionsausschuss eingesetzt werden. Wegen der hydraulisch weniger günstigen Form eines liegenden Behälters 1' sind die Anforderungen an den Rotor allerdings besonders hoch. Stofflöser zur Zerkleinerung und Suspendierung von Papierstoff (S) - mit einem Behälter (1) zur Aufnahme von Wasser und Papierstoff (S) und - mit mindestens einem im Behälter (1) angeordneten antreibbaren Rotor (2), - der mindestens zwei Flügel zum Umwälzen einer im Behälter enthaltenen Suspension aufweist, um dabei den eingetragenen Papierstoff zu zerkleinern und im Wasser zu suspendieren sowie - mit mindestens einem Sieb (10), dessen Siebfläche durch den bewegten Rotor (2) vollständig oder größtenteils überstrichen wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, - dass der Rotor (2) mit geschwungenen Flügeln (3) versehen ist, deren in Rotationsrichtung (6) vorne liegende Fläche (4) am Umfangskreis (5) mit diesem einen Winkel (α) von höchstens 20° bildet und - deren Oberseite mit in Rotationsrichtung (6) vorstehenden Arbeitsleisten (7) versehen ist, deren Schnittwinkel (β) mit dem Umfangskreis (5) mindestens 40°, vorzugsweise mindestens 60°, beträgt.
