Definitions
- the invention relates to a pulper for comminution and suspension of pulp and rotor for such a pulper.
- Pulpers of this type are mainly used to suspend dried pulp or waste paper. They consist essentially of a container for the suspension and at least one rotor. The registered material is intensively mixed in large pieces, webs or pressed bales with water, whereby a hydraulic material drive is generated by the rotor. Understandably, such devices are optimized, aiming essentially for a fast and efficient dissolution. In many cases, the rotor is placed in close proximity to a flat screen that keeps it free of blockages. Through the openings of the screen, the dissolved substance is withdrawn as a suspension.
- the standard type for a pulper is a vertical cylindrical container with a rotor in the bottom area.
- water and the material to be dissolved is added from the top and with the help of the rotor creates a Trombenströmung in the suspension, ie in the inner region of the fabric is pulled down from the rotor and pressed radially outward in the bottom region, resulting in a Umtriebsströmung results.
- the circumferential flow braked is also known to control this Umtriebsströmung.
- Another typical design is the open top pulper with laterally inserted rotor.
- Embodiments for rotors usable in such pulpers are known from many publications, for example: DE 25 00 860 A1, US Pat. No. 4,480,796 A, DE 102 54 544 A1 and DE 844 116 C.
- the invention is based on the object to improve pulpers for crushing and suspending paper stock so that the dissolution process can be carried out more economically and gently.
- an improved deflaking effect can be achieved.
- the working strips at the top of the wings are suitable for intensifying the dissolving effect.
- This feature may also be combined with the known dissolution ledges or protrusions attached to the sieve facing side of the rotor can be located. In this area, ie in the space between the rotor and sieve, also an intensive processing of the pulp by shear forces takes place, if this is fine enough to get there. Further advantages are possible in that the blades of the rotor are strongly curved and form a relatively acute angle with the peripheral circle at its outer radius. In particular, if a flat dissolving container is used with laterally attached rotor, it can be generated with this measure a low-spin flow.
- the wear protection can be improved by providing the front sides of the wings or the working strips with replaceable wear-resistant plates or strips. It is also conceivable to design the working strips in total as replaceable wear parts.
- FIG. 1 shows the top view of a rotor for a pulper according to the invention. Even if such a rotor in the pulper is not always horizontal, that is operated with a vertical axis, it is assumed here of this special installation situation and accordingly spoken of "top” and "bottom".
- the rotor 2 is provided with a total of five curved wings 3 and is driven in rotation in the direction of rotation 6 during operation of the pulper. One of the wings is shown below the task bar 7 cut.
- the rotor acts with a sieve 10 together, of which only a small part is drawn here. This screen 10 is mounted at a distance A to the bottom of the rotor (see Fig. 2).
- the smallest distance A is as small as possible, so that a good resolution is achieved and thus the rotor or its wings 3 can serve to keep the screen openings 11 free. It lies with advantage with few millimeters. If the sieve is provided with strips on the side facing the rotor, which advantageously enhances the dissolving effect, the distance A is to be measured from the upper side of the strip.
- working strips 7 are mounted, which project in the direction of rotation 6 and e.g. can have a rectangular cross-section.
- their upper side 16 and / or lower side 15, at least predominantly aligned perpendicular to the rotor axis.
- Its axial extent B is advantageously relatively small compared to the axial extent of the wings 3, e.g. between 5 and 20%.
- Thre working edges can be smooth or with a serrated profile.
- the blades 3 of the rotor have on its front side, ie the side which drives the suspension during rotation, below the working strips 7, a front surface 4 whose projection on the wire 11 the circumferential circle 5 intersects at an angle ⁇ of at most 20 °.
- this angle ⁇ is relatively acute and has a special hydraulic effect when driving the suspension in the pulper because of the pronounced radial conveying action.
- Fig. 1 the line II is entered, along which a section is laid and shown in Fig. 2. This section through the wing 3, the hub body 9 of the rotor and the screen 10 shows in particular the distance A between the underside of the rotor and the top of the screen 10.
- a rounding 13 between working strips 7 and leading edges of the wings 3 in the radially outer region of the rotor visible (here as Quarter ellipse).
- This rounding has hydraulic advantages and may have a radius of curvature between 20 and 60% of the axial extent of the wing 3. It can also be seen that in the example shown here, the hub body 9 of the rotor is fastened releasably on a shaft flange 12 by means of screws 14.
- Fig. 3 is a section along the line III (Fig. 1) visible. Also at this point, a part of the task bar 7 can be seen, which, however, followed by only a small rounding on the front surface 4 of the wing 3.
- the surface 4 In the vicinity of the sieve, the surface 4 is inclined to a plane perpendicular to the sieve parallel or with an inclination angle ⁇ , said angle of inclination ⁇ is advantageously between 15 and 30 °. Since this inclination is directed so that the parts of the surface 4 further away from the screen project in the direction of rotation, a flow component is produced in the direction of the screen, which in many cases improves the resolving action of the rotor.
- a pulper to which the invention can be applied, is the standing, cylindrical, top open pulper according to FIG. 4, in which sieve 10 and rotor 2 are located in the bottom region.
- the rotor 2 has an axial extent E which is between 10% and 20% of the diameter of the circumferential circle 5.
- the pulper is then particularly suitable for consistencies between 2 and 6%.
- pulp S and water W are introduced into the container 1 of the pulper.
- the finished pumpable suspension is withdrawn through the screen openings of the screen 10 as accept G.
- Another likewise advantageous embodiment of the invention is a pulper with at least one laterally mounted rotor according to FIG. 5 with a horizontal container 1 '.
- a horizontal container may e.g.

Abstract
Description
Dabei zeigen:
- Figur 1:
- eine Ansicht des Sieb- und Rotorbereiches eines erfindungsgemäßen Stofflösers;
- Figur 2:
- einen Schnitt gemäß Linie II in der Fig. 1;
- Figur 3:
- einen Schnitt gemäß Linie III in der Fig. 1;
- Figur 4:
- einen erfindungsgemäßen Stofflöser in geschnittener Seitenansicht;
- Figur 5:
