  • dass das obere Ende der Stege nach dem Einlegen der Schutzplatte und Andrücken der Stege mit dem oberen Ende des Haltepfostens verrastbar ist,
  • und dass an das obere Ende der Schenkel des Haltepfostens je eine kreisförmig ausgeschnittene Haltescheibe angeformt ist, über welche eine zylinderförmig ausgebildete, nach unten mit einem Schlitz versehene Geländestange seitlich aufschiebbar und befestigbar ist.

Claims (7)

  1. A balustrade for balconies, passageways, stairs and similar areas requiring protection for building structures, consisting of handrails (1), holding pillars (2) to be anchored in the ground for the handrails (1), as well as protective panels (3) to be fastened between the pillars (2),
    characterized in that
    • the holding pillars (2) are formed from a metallic profile with a U-shaped cross-section, of which the arms (5) directed outwards are made slightly curved for the abutment and holding of protective panels (3),
    • in each case a slot (6) of a width (b) corresponding to the thickness (D) of the protective panels (3) is cut in parallel to the edges of the arms until just in front of the lower end of the arms (5), in such a way that the webs (7) formed in this case are flexible over the entire length thereof,
    • the upper end of the webs (7) is capable of being locked to the upper end of the holding pillar (2) after the insertion of the protective panel (3) and the pressing on of the webs (7),
    • and one holding plate (8), which is cut out in the shape of a circle and by way of which a cylindrical handrail (1) provided with a slot (9) at the bottom is capable of being slid laterally and fastened, is integrally formed in each case on the upper end of the arms (5) of the holding pillar (2).
  2. A balustrade according to claim 1, characterized in that the holding plate (8) is cut out radially from the connection point (10) over approximately 3/4 of the circular area K1, whereas the remaining quarter of the circular area K2 is integrally moulded on the end of the webs (7), and the free edge (11) of the cut-out 3/4 circular area (K1) has a projection (13) which is directed towards the free edge (12) of the quarter circular area (K2) of the web (7) and which is capable of being pressed laterally into a recess (14) - corresponding to the contour of the projection (13) - on the free edge (12) of the quarter circular area K2 at the upper end of the curved webs (7) for engaging the projection (13) in the plane of the plate.
  3. A balustrade according to claim 2, characterized in that between the mutually facing holding plates (8) of two adjacent holding pillars (2) metallic profile rods (19) are capable of being connected to the holding plates (8), the upper cylindrical wall (20) of which extends concentrically at a distance from the inner wall of the cylindrical handrails (1) and the lower half of which is designed in the form of a U-shaped profile (21), the arms (22) of which are capable of being attached to the upper edge (23) of the protective panel (3) projecting into the slot (9) of the handrail (1).
  4. A balustrade according to claim 3, characterized in that the holding plate (8) is capable of being screwed to the profile rod (19) by means of a bolt (24) capable of being inserted into the centre of the plate (8), namely in such a way that a portion of the bolt head (25) covers the central corner of the quarter circular area (K2) at the end of the web (7).
  5. A balustrade according to claim 4, characterized in that in the interior of the profile rod (19) two web walls (26), the distance between which is dimensioned in such a way that the bolts (24) are capable of being screwed into the web walls (26) with a self-tapping thread, are formed integrally on the profile rod (21) on both sides of the centre.
  6. A balustrade according to claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the protective panel (3) is bordered on the lower edge (30) thereof by a profile rod (28) which is formed in a U shape and which is embedded in a corresponding rectangular recess (29) at the lower end of the slot (6) in the arms (5) of the pillars (2).
  7. A balustrade according to claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the mutually opposed lateral faces (33) of two adjacent protective panels (3) are embraced on both sides by an intermediate wall (34) which is adapted to the internal distance between the arms (5).
