Claims (8)

  1. Device for fitting a sanitary article on a building wall (3), in particular a urinal partition wall (2), with a fitting part (4) which can be secured to the building wall (3) by means of first fixing means (8, 18, 9) of the device and which can be secured to the sanitary article (2) by means of second fixing means (5) of the device, and a cover part (12) is releasably secured to the fitting part (4) which conceals said fixing means (8, 18, 9 ; 5) rendering them invisible in the fitted position and which is releasably fitted on the fitting part (4) by fixing means (14) which are not visible in the fitted position, characterised in that the fitting part (4) is provided in the form of a rail with an L-shaped cross-section.
  2. Device as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the fitting part (4) has at least one mounting orifice (7) concealed by the cover part (12) for securing the fitting part (4) to the building wall (3).
  3. Device as claimed in claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the cover part (12) is magnetically retained on the fitting part (4).
  4. Device as claimed in one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that at least one magnet is secured to the cover part (12) which adheres to said second fixing means (5).
  5. Device as claimed in one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the second fixing means (5) are provided in the form of headed screws.
  6. Device as claimed in claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the fitting part (4) and the cover part (12) form an essentially U-shaped fitting part in cross-section, which accommodates an edge (2a) of the sanitary article (2) by means of a recess (22).
  7. Device as claimed in claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the fitting part (4) and the cover part (12) are placed essentially seamlessly one against the other.
  8. Device as claimed in one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the device (1) has a slot or some other appropriate cut-out for releasing the cover part (12) on a bottom face that is not usually visible in the fitted position.
