Abstract

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Explosionsschutz für ein nichtelektrisches, im Betriebszustand heißes Gerät oder Aggregat, insbesondere für eine Kreiselpumpe (2) für heiße Fördermedien.The invention relates to an explosion protection for a non-electric, hot in operation device or unit, in particular for a centrifugal pump (2) for hot media.

Die Aufgabe, einen Ex-Schutz für ein solches Gerät oder Aggregat zu schaffen, der bei geringem Aufwand eine hohe Sicherheit gewährleistet, wird erfindungsgemäß gelöst durch eine die Oberfläche des Gerätes oder Aggregates (2) mit Abstand umschließende Einhausung (7), wobei ein nicht explosionsfähiges, Wärme abführendes Gas mit Überdruck in die Einhausung (7) geleitet und über Öffnungen (8) aus der Einhausung (7) abgeführt wird (Fig. 1).
