Abstract

The cardboard packing has a lid element (26) consisting of two interconnected flat sub-elements (28,30) connected to respective side walls (14,16) by corresponding bend lines (22,24). Each sub-element has two cut-outs to form gripping holes which through the forming of the lid element come to lie one upon the other, with the distance (A) between the holes (32,34) of the first sub-element being greater than the distance (B) between the holes (36,38) of the second sub-element.

Description

The present invention relates to a cardboard packaging, in particular for the storage and transport of bottle and / or can-like containers, having a bottom element and two side walls connected to the bottom element via opposite bending lines and a lid element opposite the bottom element.

Such carton packages are known. In particular, special Kraftkartonsorten be used in known cardboard packaging to ensure the necessary stability and tear strength of the cardboard packaging. This applies in particular to the transport of beverage bottles which exert a correspondingly high force on the cardboard packaging when filled. However, the use of kraft cardboard is very expensive and ecologically questionable. For environmental reasons, recycled cardboard should therefore ideally be used to produce the cardboard packaging. The disadvantage of this, however, is that recycled cardboard has a lower tear resistance than the so-called kraft carton.

It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a generic carton packaging which is easy to prepare and stable in the folded state and has a high tensile strength even when using recycled cardboard.

To solve this problem is a generic cardboard packaging according to the features of claim 1.

Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen sind in den Unteransprüchen beschrieben.Advantageous embodiments are described in the subclaims.

A cardboard packaging according to the invention has a bottom element and two side walls connected to the bottom element via opposite bending lines and a cover element lying opposite the bottom element. The lid member according to the invention consists of two superposed and interconnected planar sub-elements, wherein the first sub-element is connected via a bending line with the first side wall and the second sub-element via a bending line with the second side wall, and the first sub-element two punched to form handle openings has and the second sub-element has two punched-out for the formation of handle openings, wherein the handle openings of the first and second sub-element come to lie one above the other in a design of the lid member and the distance A between the punched portions of the first sub-element is greater than the distance B between the punched second subelement. By such a configuration of the cover element of two superimposed and interconnected or bonded flat partial elements a high stability and tear strength in the region of the lid member is achieved. It is therefore possible, less tear-resistant cardboard types, such. B. recycled cardboard for the production of cardboard packaging according to the invention to use. The handle openings to be formed by the cutouts in the respective subelements during transport of the cardboard packaging also contribute to the stability of the cardboard packaging and to the secure hold of the bottle and / or can-like containers to be transported. The respective punched-out elements remain connected via corresponding bending lines with the cover element and are bent to form the handle openings inward. This increases the stability in the grip area. The different sized handle openings in the first and second sub-element contribute to the secure fixation of the containers to be transported, as shown by the different distance between the punched holes in the formation of the handle openings a slope, which in the Folding back the punched a train on the lid member or the carton pack exerts. This results in a secure hold of transported with the cardboard packaging containers.

In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, at least one sub-element of the cover element on the opposite free side ends retaining tabs, wherein the retaining tabs are connected via a respective bending line with the sub-element. In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, at least one side wall in the region of the arranged between the sub-elements and the side walls bending lines at the opposite free side ends connecting tabs, which in turn are connected to the side walls via bending lines. In this case, the first stiffening tabs in the folded state of the cardboard packaging are connected to an inner side of the lid element and the second stiffening tabs are connected to an inner side of the side wall. Such a design significantly increases the stability and rigidity of the cardboard packaging in the region of the cover element. It is also possible that the retaining tabs are connected via a bending or cutting line with the second stiffening tabs and the second stiffening tabs via a bending line with the first stiffening tabs. In the folded state, this results in a kind of holding function of the first stiffening tabs.

In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, at least one side wall in the region of the bending lines arranged between the bottom element and the side walls in the region of these bending lines at the opposite free side ends stiffening tabs which are connected to the side walls via corresponding bending lines. The stiffening tabs are connected in the folded state of the cardboard packaging with the inside of the side wall. This results in a further increase in the stability of the carton packaging in total and especially in the area of the floor element.

In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the bottom element on at least one stiffening tab in the region of the arranged between the side walls and the bottom element bending lines at the opposite free side ends. Such a configuration leads to a further increase in stability of the cardboard packaging in the region of the floor element. In addition, it is possible that the stiffening tabs are connected via corresponding bending lines with a holding element and the holding element in each case via further bending lines with the stiffening tabs. As a result, in the folded-up state of the cardboard packaging, the holding elements reliably prevent the containers to be slid out.

Advantageously, the stiffening tabs and retaining elements described can be formed without additional material from the existing blank.

In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, a slip-resistant layer is formed on the inside of the bottom element. The slip-resistant layer may be flat, caterpillar-like, punctiform or strip-like and consists for example of a hotmelt. This slip-resistant layer in turn ensures that the containers to be stored and transported do not slip within the cardboard packaging.

In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, at least one adhesive or adhesive element for the detachable attachment of printed matter or advertising material is formed on the outer sides of the side walls.
