- EP-B-0 081 218 discloses a wipe which consists of interwoven, hot-water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol fibers which shrink under the influence of temperature and which are impregnated with a resin made of polyvinyl alcohol for further connection.
- the fibers shrink during impregnation. Therefore, according to the EP, the fleece is stretched during impregnation and also during drying. Furthermore, the drying temperature during the drying process must be kept below the softening temperature of the fiber.
