This is important since higher tooling costs and longer lead times are typically associated with the isolator/elastomer, while the inserted shaft can be modified quickly and economically.

Abstract

La présente invention a trait à un ensemble d'isolation, tel qu'une douille d'isolation ou montage de type berceau, comportant un boîtier et un isolateur relié au boîtier. Un ensemble d'arbre comprend des premier et deuxième composants de couplage, le premier composant étant relié à l'élastomère et présentant une cavité d'une première dimension pour la réception du deuxième composant présentant une deuxième dimension différente. Les dimensions différentes modifient les caractéristiques de contraintes de l'ensemble d'isolation de vibrations.
