Abstract

The frame has an overhead frame to tension external canvas of a shelter, and four gutters (22) integrating plane units (18) arranged to form a floor. A round cavity (42) integrates the external canvas of the shelter. The gutters act towards the base by compression and are disposed on an upper part of a foundation frame. The round cavity acts by lateral tension and is arranged on the sides of the foundation frame. An independent claim is also included for a tent type shelter.

Description

The present invention relates to a frame that can be easily mounted and disassembled. Such a frame is more particularly intended for a shelter. The invention also relates to a tent or a similar shelter, provided with a removable frame.

Camping is one of the most popular recreational activities and tents are usually used to provide temporary shelter. These shelters most often have a triangular "Canadian" shape or a domed shape. This type of shelter thus well known a superior protection in the form of a flexible fabric, an aerial reinforcement on which the canvas is stretched and, where appropriate, a base mat on the ground.

These shelters meet the criteria of lightness to allow their easy transport by the user. They must therefore be easily and quickly mounted to the desired location and then dismantled. In addition to the field of recreation, and because of improved tissue quality, these shelters have taken on other dimensions and many other applications have been developed.

The shelters with their frame often have a low resistance to mechanical stresses, for example caused by the weather, acting on the frame and the fabric. This low resistance can lead to deformations, or even breaks in the frame. In addition, the shelter can collapse, due to the lack of mechanical links between the canvas, the frame, the floor mat and the floor itself.

The shelters are installed on the ground, which is usually poorly equipped to receive these structures and the users who stick to them. Depending on the configuration and the nature of the terrain, and especially in bad weather, the soil quickly becomes unusable by the mud that forms there. In addition, the soil often has an uneven surface with bumps, vegetation and pebbles. Such a sheltered spot is not only aesthetically unpleasant, but also dangerous.

To overcome these difficulties, carpets made of synthetic materials are often placed on the ground, protecting only the areas of passage. Because of their flexibility, carpets marry the shapes of the soil and do not solve the problems of irregularities. In addition, the mats have between them junction areas that are the cause of falls for users who are or walking in the shelter. As another solution, wooden floors are also added inside the shelters. Wood is used and can be considered satisfactory.

However, such floors must be systematically adapted by cutting to cover the appropriate area corresponding to the surface of the soil to be covered. Thus, they do not necessarily have the same dimensions as those of the ground surface of the shelter. Such floors generate areas left bare, located mainly on the edges between the canvas and the floor. Such areas forming holes can be a source of user falls. These areas are also voids in which the canvas will snap continuously when there is wind. In these areas the wind rushes when the canvas is poorly adjusted to the ground. Losses of heat energy are also noted in these areas, these losses being all the more troublesome as the shelter is heated.

We know from the documents GB-271,804 and GB-256.242 a tent comprising a canvas, parts forming an overhead frame and a base frame. A floor including plates is placed on the base frame. The tent fabric is held by the base frame, through a piece laced to the fabric and around the base frame.

Thus, there is no mechanical connection between the floor and the fabric. In case of severe weather, the fabric is subjected to high mechanical stresses, which are transmitted only to the fixing areas of this fabric on the frame. Due to these significant stresses, the life of the fabric and / or the reinforcement will decrease, causing tears in the fabric or even breaks in the frame, which may lead to a collapse of the tent-like structure. .

Exposé de l'inventionPresentation of the invention

A main problem to be solved by the invention is to develop a frame that can be easily assembled and dismounted. A second problem is to provide a framework capable of taking up all the forces acting on the aerial reinforcement or on the protection. A third problem is the realization of a frame, able to take up most of the mechanical constraints acting on the frame and / or floor and / or protection. A fourth problem to be solved is the adaptation of a floor to a shelter, which is similarly easily mounted and disassembled. A fifth problem is to realize a frame with a floor postponing the forces on its base, while following the configuration of the ground. A sixth problem is to design a removable shelter, for example a tent, including a removable frame.

In known manner, a removable frame, intended for a removable structure forming a shelter, comprising at least one protection, one or more pieces constituting an overhead armature for the tensioning of the protection or protections, and a substantially plane base frame , able to secure the component (s) constituting the overhead reinforcement, so that said base frame takes up all the forces exerted on said aerial reinforcement, the base frame having:
  • first fixing means solidarisant one or more planar elements arranged to form a floor, and
  • second securing means solidarisant the protection or protections of the shelter.

According to a first aspect of the invention, the removable frame is characterized in that the first and second fixing means are in the form of recesses and protuberances, respectively constituting female parts and male parts, in which to accommodate corresponding excrescences or recesses constituting respectively male parts and female parts, provided at the level of the flat elements and at the level or the protections.

In other words, with the removable frame including a frame, all the mechanical stresses supported by the floor and all the mechanical stresses supported by the aerial reinforcement are reported globally on this base frame. All forces, which are internal to the shelter, acting on the flat elements or planes of the floor, are taken up by the frame. Similarly, all the forces, which are external to the shelter, being exerted on the protection or protections of the shelter, are taken up by the frame. As a result, the aerial reinforcement will be subjected to much smaller forces, which will relieve it. This simple system associated with the frame allows quick attachment and unhooking of the flat elements and the or protections.

The first fixing means, provided for joining the flat element or elements, can act in compression downwards and can be arranged on the upper part of the base frame. This arrangement between frame and planar elements can effectively absorb the thrusts exerted by the weight of users on the floor.

The second fastening means provided for the fastening of the or protections can act in lateral traction and can be arranged on the sides of this base frame. This position takes up the forces transmitted by the protection or protections on the frame and thus on the frame, so as to prevent any tearing of this or these protections.

Most preferably, the base frame may be peripheral, potentially including one or more longitudinal sleepers. Such a perimeter, constituting a mechanically active periphery for the frame, is self-stable and self-supporting. The frame with its cross member may be formed by a hollow profile. For a perfect fit to the desired length and width for the floor and for the assembly-disassembly aspect, the peripheral profile of this frame can be formed from individual elongated segments. These segments can be interconnected by sleeves, internal or external, which can be inserted and fixed inside the hollow profile, so as to further increase the rigidity of the self-supporting frame.

In an advantageous embodiment, the flat element or elements can advantageously comprise an upper plate, which can be held by one or more longitudinal lower longitudinal members and two or more lateral faces that can be provided with hooks, acting as male parts that can cooperate with the first fixing means of the base frame. In another embodiment, the at least one planar member may comprise a plate of one or more damping materials. The or protections may comprise an insert with a hook and / or a peripheral ring, which can cooperate with the second fastening means of the base frame.

The chassis also has a vocation of support for various technical accessories for the maintenance and aesthetics of the shelter. Thus, the framework may advantageously also comprise at least one base, which can be fixed under the basic chassis. The frame may further comprise one or more connections, external or internal, which can be fixed on the base frame and solidariser or parts of the aerial reinforcement.

According to a second aspect of the invention, a shelter, tent type, is
characterized in that it comprises a protection, one or more parts constituting an overhead armature for the tensioning of the protection or protections and a removable frame, as described above.

Description détaillée de l'inventionDetailed description of the invention

As represented by Figure 1 , a shelter (1), for example a removable tent, comprises a protection in the form of an outer upper fabric (2) delimiting and covering the interior volume of the shelter (1). The outer fabric (2) has an upper face (3), side faces (4), a rear face (6) and a front face (7) with an opening (8), for example closed by a zipper.

According to the invention, the shelter (1) comprises a frame with a floor (9) with an upper surface (S) substantially flat. The entire frame of the shelter (1) is mounted on lower base (11), ensuring the spacing, stability and leveling relative to the ground. In order to maintain and tension the outer fabric (2), the frame comprises an air reinforcement (12). The armature (12) is fixed to the floor (9). This armature (12) is composed of a series of tubes (13) forming the lateral uprights and associated arches (14) forming the upper vaults of the shelter (1).

Pour venir compléter l'ossature et renforcer sa périphérie, une traverse centrale (17) est solidarisée longitudinalement au châssis (16).As this is particularly visible in Figures 2 and 3 , and according to the invention, the frame comprises a peripheral frame (16) thus forming a frame. To complete the frame and reinforce its periphery, a central cross member (17) is secured longitudinally to the frame (16).

The floor (9) comprises a plurality of planar elements (18), for example fourteen in number for the exemplary embodiment of the Figure 3 . These planar elements (18) are contiguous and constitute the substantially flat upper surface (S) of the floor (9). Viewed from above, the planar elements (18) have a rectangle shape.

These planar elements (18) are both fixed on the frame (16) and on the crosspiece (17), with the short sides of the rectangles adjacent to the longitudinal edges of the frame (16) and the cross member (17), the large ones sides of the outermost rectangles adjoining the side edges of the frame (16). Seven planar elements (18) are arranged on one side of the central web (17) and seven other flat elements (18) are arranged on the other side of the central web (17).

Selon l'invention, le segment en profilé (19) présente des moyens de fixation assurant une solidarisation des éléments plans (18) et de la toile (2).The peripheral frame (16) and the cross member (17) are in the form of a series of profile segments (19), for example of aluminum, other steels, glass fibers, composites or polymeric materials. The segment segment (19) has a substantially square overall section. The profile segment (19) has a central hole (21) with a substantially octagonal overall section. According to the invention, the segment section (19) has fastening means ensuring a joining of the planar elements (18) and the fabric (2).

The planar elements (18) and the fabric (2) are fixed to the profile segment (19) by means of gutter-like fastening means (22). The channel (22) is formed along the profile segment (19) and is open upwards to the upper surface (S). Four gutters (22) are provided at the four corners of the profile segment (19).

The planar element (18) comprises (see Figures 5 to 7 ) a rectangular upper plate (23), defining the upper surface (S) of the floor (9), by assembly with the other plates (23) of the other planar elements (18). The rectangular top plate (23) is made of wood, aluminum plates, cellular polypropylene, fiberglass, composites or other polymeric materials. Three longitudinal longitudinal members (24) with a substantially square section are positioned under and carry the upper plate (23). The longitudinal members (24) are welded aluminum.

Two lateral faces (26) hold the beams or joists (24). The upper ends of the side faces (26) are at the same level as the upper plate (23). The upper ends of the side faces (26) are provided, along their length, hooks (27) facing outward and folded down. For the corners of the floor (9) and the base frame (16), planar elements (18) with three lateral faces (26) and thus three hooks are necessary.

Dans l'autre mode de réalisation de la Figure 7, le crochet (27b) est seulement muni de l'ergot (27a).In the other embodiment of the Figure 6 , the spar (24) is welded to the hook (27) at the side face (26). The hook (27) further comprises a lug (27a), protruding from the side face (26) opposite the profile (19), and serving as lateral support for the upper plate (23). In the other embodiment of the Figure 7 the hook (27b) is only provided with the lug (27a).

The hooks (27 and 27b) cooperate with the fastening means of the profile segment (19), by insertion into the gutter (22). In this way, by the weight exerted on the upper surface (S) of the floor (9) and thus on the plate (23) of the planar element (18), a base surface of the hook (27) comes to rest at the bottom of the gutter (22) and transmit the same weight to the entire section segment (19) and the frame (16) and the cross member (17).

In the embodiment of the Figure 8 , the floor (9) comprises a profile (19) and a series of flat elements (181), in the form of a mattress of the type tatami, of a thickness approximately equal to 5 cm. The mattress (181) includes, for example, a first basal layer of hard foam (182), a second softer foam layer (183), and a third top layer of hard foam (184). These different foams of different densities (181, 182 and 183) are included in a cover. The floor (9) is laid on the ground on a thick and resistant floor cloth (185). Additional anchoring by means of sardines can be provided.

This type of profile (19) ensures the recovery of horizontal forces acting on the mattresses (181).

When mounting the frame (16), the inner sleeve (28) is inserted into the central hole (21) of the profile segment (19). For a firm fit, the inner sleeve (28) has a substantially octagonal overall section complementary to the octagonal section of the central hole (21). For greater strength, the inner sleeve (28) itself has a central void (29). The inner sleeve (28) is further secured by screwing to the profile segments (19).

As is visible in Figures 3 , 6 , 7 and 9 to 12 to provide a straight line connection between two profile segments (19), the inner sleeve is a linear sleeve (31). To provide a branch connection on both sides of the cross member (17), the inner sleeve is a T-sleeve (32). To provide a right-angle connection to the four corners of the frame (16), the inner sleeve is an angled or angled sleeve (33). The sleeves may also be external.

For the sake of comfort, the shelter (1) comprises the outer fabric (2) and an inner fabric (34), for example a mosquito net (see Figure 10 ). At the opening (8), two zippers (36) are provided for the two webs (2 and 34), for an opening and effective closure of the shelter (1). Towards their lower edge, the outer fabric (2) and the inner fabric (34) are connected to each other on a continuous strip (37).

A l'extrémité inférieure libre du galon (38) est prévue une boucle (41).For fastening the outer (2) and inner (34) webs to the frame (16) and thus to the profile segment (19), a web (38) with two free ends is attached to the web (37). At the upper free end of the strip (38) is provided a continuous ring (39). At the lower free end of the strip (38) is provided a loop (41).

The profile segment (19) comprises a second fixing means in the form of a round cavity (42) arranged in each of the lateral sides of the profile (19). The round cavity (42) is formed along the section segment (19) and opens laterally by a passage whose width is slightly greater than the thickness of the fabric of the strip (38). To have flexible mounting and adjustment of the webs (2 and 34), four round cavities (42) are provided in pairs on both sides of the profile segment (19). The continuous ring (39) is housed in the round cavity (42), for a firm hold of the webs (2 and 34) to the frame (16).

To complete the attachment of the cloths (2 and 34) to the frame (16) and the profile (19) and to stretch them at this frame (16), a tension strap (43) is established at the level of the buckle ( 41) of the strip (38). The tension strap (43) is provided at its free end with a hook (44). The hook (44) cooperates with and is housed in the lower gutter (22), located near the plane element (18), so as to hold the tension strap (43) and to give additional tension to the two canvases (2 and 34).

In the embodiment of the Figure 8 , the webs (2 and 34) are fixed to the frame (16) and the profile (19) via a tension strap (421) around the profile (19).

As shown by Figures 14 and 15 , so that the frame with its self-supporting frame (16) perfectly plays its role of stabilizer for the entire structure of the shelter (1), the base (11) consists of nine feet (46) regularly distributed under the chassis (16).

A foot (46) comprises a base (47) resting on the ground. The base (47) is held on the ground by sardines (not shown). From the base plate (47), a threaded bar (48) is oriented upwards towards the frame (16). An upper threaded tube (49) passes right through the profiled section (19) and is held under the profile (19) by a plate (51). For free rotation of the threaded bar (48), a captive nut (52) is trapped by a cup (53). By this arrangement of the foot (46), a user will be able to rotate the threaded bar (48) inside the threaded tube (49), through a key socket (54). In this way, all the feet (46) are adjustable in height relative to each other, which allows a perfect leveling of the floor (9) with its frame (16), whatever the irregularities of the ground.

Une bielle ou diagonale (461) assure un maintien vertical du pied (46).In the embodiment of the Figure 15 a second threaded tube (50) slides in the first upper threaded tube (19). The foot (46) can thus be longer. A connecting rod or diagonal (461) provides vertical support of the foot (46).

Dans la variante de la Figure 17, le raccord (561) est interne et est soudé la surface supérieure du segment en profilé (19) par l'intermédiaire d'une plaque (57).To complete the structure of the shelter (1), the armature (12) is also secured to the frame with its floor (9) at the frame (16). To do this and as is visible in Figure 16 an outer connector (56) is screwed onto the upper surface of the profile segment (19) via an underlying plate (57). In the variant of the Figure 17 the connector (561) is internal and is welded to the upper surface of the profile segment (19) via a plate (57).

With this configuration, the tube (13) of the armature (12) is threaded into the connector (56 and 561). It should be noted that the angles between connection (56 and 561) and underlying plate (57) can vary to give different inclinations and configurations to the entire armature (12).

A 100 km/h, les volumes pourront accueillir plus de vingt personnes et être accessibles au public, selon la norme ERP CTS.With the frame (16) and its fixing means, a shelter (1) is thus obtained with a floor frame (9) capable of supporting a load of the order of 150 kg / m 2 to 500 kg / m 2 . At 500 kg / m 2 , the volumes will accommodate more than twenty people and be accessible to the public (ERP CTS standard). The shelter (1) has a frame with an aerial reinforcement holding a canvas (2), capable of withstanding winds of 74 km / h (corresponding to Beaufort 8) at 100 km / h. At 100 km / h, the volumes will accommodate more than twenty people and be accessible to the public, according to the ERP CTS standard.

In addition to the shelter given only as an example, the shelters are also planned as an annex of a dwelling by creating a veranda, to serve as an awning in front of the door of a caravan, to constitute exhibition halls, rooms for sports and cultural events, terraces for cafes and restaurants with a canopy or simple walls of protection creating shading, tent circus circus, temporary equipment for outdoor hotels, for example in sites with regulated characters (natural parks, etc.) without degradation of the setting of these sites, scenes of shows, bungalows and others.

The present invention is not limited to the embodiments described and illustrated. Many modifications can be made, without departing from the scope defined by the scope of the set of claims. The shape of the frame (16) can be variable, for example square, oval, rhombus or any other shape.
