Description

The invention is based on, a shower switch for removable bracket of a shower head.

It is well known that you can attach hand shower, for example by means of cone holders pivotally mounted on a console, which is usually adjustable by means of a wall bar in height. By the wall bar can be made to adapt to different body sizes, and by pivoting the beam angle of the shower head can be changed.

It is also already a shower device known in which a pivoting shower head is fixed in the region of the front end of a Wandarms, which in turn is pivotally mounted on a console. The water supply to this shower head is done by the designed as a hollow profile wall arm ( DE 100 48 987 ).

Furthermore, a shower arrangement ( SE 95 879 ), in which a receptacle for inserting the handle of a hand shower is arranged at the front end of a movable wall arm. The wall arm has a joint approximately in the middle of its longitudinal extension.

There is a vertical wall bar, along which a bifurcated wall arm can be moved. At the front end of the bifurcated wall arm, a holder for a hand shower is arranged pivotably about the axis of the wall bar

The invention is based on the object to provide a shower arrangement, which offers expanded ease of use with a simple structure.

To solve this problem, the invention proposes a shower holder with the features mentioned in claim 1. Further developments of the invention are the subject of dependent claims.

According to the invention it is provided that the projecting from the attachment member wall arm is pivotally mounted on the attachment member and mounted in the region of the mounting member opposite end of the Wandarms mounted bracket for the shower head pivotally mounted on the wall arm. By arranging two pivot bearings, the orientation of the emission direction of the shower head can be adjusted to a greater extent to the wishes of the user. Depending on the length of the Wandarms it is no longer necessary, although this is of course still possible to move the mounting member using a wall bar in height.

In a further development of the invention can be provided that the axis about which the holder for the shower head is pivotable, extending transversely to the longitudinal axis of the wall arm. Although the wall arm does not need to be rectilinear, it is possible to start from an approximate longitudinal axis of the wall arm, which runs transversely with respect to the pivot axis for the shower head.

The pivot axis in the mounting member for supporting the Wandarms can extend in any direction. However, it is particularly useful if it runs parallel to a wall surface on which the attachment member is attached. It does not need to be a wall of the bathroom, but may be any other vertical surface of a shower cubicle or the like. Of course, an attachment by means of a vertically or horizontally extending rail is also possible in addition.

In a further development can be provided that the pivot axis between the mounting member and the wall arm is horizontal.

According to the invention, the two pivot axes are parallel to each other. Then, for example, when pivoting the Wandarms the bracket for the shower head can be pivoted in the reverse direction to maintain the beam angle. For this reason, it can also be provided that the maximum pivot angle of the holder for the shower head relative to the wall arm is at least as large as the maximum pivot angle of the wall arm relative to the attachment member.

In development of the invention can be provided that the wall arm is formed forked at least in the region of its free end. Then the bracket for the shower head between the two arms of the fork can be arranged.

For example, the bifurcation of the wall arm may begin approximately in the middle of its longitudinal extent.

In a further development can be provided that the pivot axis of the holder for the shower head is approximately through the center of the shower head housing. As a result, when the shower head is pivoted, only the radiation direction ends, but not the absolute position of the shower head housing.

In a further development of the invention can be provided that the holder for the shower head (8) is designed to attack on a non-recognizable for holding intended location of the housing of the shower head (8) and acts in release or insertion direction by frictional connection.

This makes it possible to connect a shower head to the shower holder, wherein the holder does not have to be connected to a device acting on the hand shower handle. In particular, you can not see the shower head, that it is intended for connection to a wall bracket and suitable. The designer is therefore much more free in the possibilities of designing the shower head or its housing.

In particular, the holder may be designed such that it engages on the outer circumference of the showerhead housing.

In particular, the holder should be designed such that it is designed to engage on a non-recognizable to the shape of the holder intended location of the housing of the shower head. It is also conceivable to form certain points of the housing in their surface property for mounting, without thereby affecting the shape. Thus you can not recognize in this further embodiment of the shape of the showerhead housing that this point is intended to interact with the holder.

The invention proposes in a further development that the shower head remains functional after removal from the holder, so that it can be used as a shower head both in its state of connection with the wall holder and after removal from the wall bracket. This significantly increases the functional properties.

Not claimed is a Ausfrichrungsform where the holder is rigidly attached to the wall arm. But it is also possible and is within the scope of the invention that the holder is pivotable about an axis transverse to the longitudinal axis of the wall arm together with the shower head used. This allows adjustment to different angles of radiation.

Not below the Schuntzumfang the attachment of the shower holder by means of the attachment member falls as a fixed attachment, for example on a wall, a column within a shower cubicle, or on a wall bar or a wall profile. In this case, the attachment can also be such that the component can be moved.

In a development of the invention, provision can be made for the wall arm to be pivotable about an axis parallel to the wall in the region of its end assigned to the attachment component. This can serve to adapt to different body sizes. This axis can be horizontal, it can also be rotatable about an axis perpendicular to the wall.

Since the two pivot axes can be parallel to each other during the pivoting of the wall arm, the orientation of the shower head used to be changed in opposite directions, thereby compensating for the change in the beam direction.

In order to achieve a particularly useful and despite the non-special adaptation of the shower head to the holder reliable attachment, the invention provides that the holder engages two diametrically opposite points of the housing of the shower head.

For this purpose, the holder has two jaws, which are designed for engagement with the housing of the shower head.

It is inventively provided that the jaws are acted upon each other with inserted shower head with a force. This action is caused by the insertion of the shower head.

Erfindungs gemäβ provided that the two jaws of the holder are connected by a claimed element on train, which has a voltage that create the contact surfaces of the shower head.

The claimed element on train may in particular be designed such that, when the shower head is inserted, a planar contact is provided at least in two areas between the element claimed on the train and the showerhead housing. This can be effected both by an adaptation of the shape of the element claimed on train to the shape of the housing as well as by a flexible embodiment of the element claimed on train.

It is also possible that the pulling element which connects the jaws of the holder, is designed so that it touches the showerhead housing at any point.

The fork of the Wandarms creates the possibility that the holder between the two prongs of the fork is arranged.

The bifurcation of the wall arm may, for example, extend over the entire length of the wall arm. However, it is also possible and preferred by the invention that the fork between the attachment member and the free end begins, preferably approximately in the middle of the longitudinal extent.

It is also possible that the arm is not forked and the holder for the shower head is located in the region of the free end of the Wandarms, the arrangement can be done both laterally and centrally.

According to the invention it can be provided that the shower head is designed as a hand shower with a handle inserted on the housing of the hand shower. The attachment of the shower head to the bracket is not done on the handle, but on the housing of the shower head.

To be particularly favorable, it has been found that the showerhead housing has the shape of a discus.

The hose leading to the shower head may preferably be connected to the attachment component. The attachment component may then be connected to the domestic installation via another arrangement.

The FIGS. 1 and 8 show no embodiment of the invention.

FIG. 1 shows greatly simplified from the side of a shower holder according to the invention. This shower holder is in the example shown on a Wall 1 attached. For attachment to the wall is a mounting member 2, in the example shown in the form of a console 3, which is screwed for example to the wall. In the console 3, a connection is made with a coming from a mixing valve water pipe. At a projection 4 of the console 3, a wall arm 5 is pivotally mounted. The pivot axis is horizontal and perpendicular to the paper plane. To determine the Wandarms 5 in a certain angular position is a clamping screw which can be operated by means of a handle 6. The wall arm extends from the attachment member 2 away from the wall and terminates in a free end 7. In the region of the free end 7 is on the wall arm 5 in the FIG. 1 unspecified explained mounting bracket for a shower head 8. The shower head 8 is disk-shaped in the illustrated embodiment. It is provided with a handle 9, which is slightly angled relative to the plane of the shower head 8. In the handle 9 performs a shower hose 10, which then hangs freely from there, which is not shown in detail. The other end of the shower hose 10 is connected to the attachment member 2. The wall arm 5 can, as already mentioned, be pivoted about a horizontal axis, so that it occupies different angular positions relative to the wall when pivoting upwards and pivoting downwards. The pivot angle of the wall arm 5 is for example 180 degrees.

The FIG. 2 now shows a view of the arrangement of FIG. 1 in a simplified representation. The wall arm 5 bifurcates shortly behind its attachment to the console 3. It thus forms two prongs 11, which are formed diverging and in the region of the free end 7 of the Wandarms again parallel to each other. There is provided between the two ends 12 of the two prongs a holder 13, which has already been mentioned. The bracket holds the shower head 8, which is thus located between the two front ends 12.

As the holder looks in detail, you can in a first example of the FIG. 3 remove. The housing of the shower head 8 is disc-shaped with a circumference which extends approximately elliptical. On the inside of the two legs 11 of the wall arm 5, two jaws 14 are arranged, whose inner contour has the same shape as the outer contour of the shower head housing. As a result, the shower head 8 is received in a kind of positive engagement, the positive engagement acts up and down. In the direction perpendicular to the paper plane, however, the determination is made non-positively. For this purpose, either an indirect clamping in each jaw 14, or to an admission of the two jaws 14 toward each other. This loading of the two jaws 14 on each other can be achieved in that their mutual distance is slightly smaller than the corresponding transverse dimension or the diameter of the showerhead housing 8. This is an admission by inserting the shower head housing perpendicular to the paper plane between the two jaws 14th reached. The application is thus effected by a deformation of the two arms 11 of the wall arm. The extension of the jaws 14 perpendicular to the plane of the paper FIG. 3 is relatively short, so that they attack only on the showerhead housing at two diametrically opposite locations over a very short length of the circumference. This is simplified in FIG. 4 shown.

In FIG. 5 It is shown how the two jaws 14 of the holder can be connected to each other by a bracket 15 which is either adapted to the shape of the showerhead housing 8 or is designed to be flexible so that it adapts to this shape. By the bracket 15, which is claimed essentially to train, an amplification of the clamping action can be achieved.

The two jaws 14 are rotatably mounted on the front ends 12 of the two arms 11 of the wall arm, so that the holder can be pivoted together with the shower head 8 about a horizontal axis. It may be provided a locking element, similar to the rotary handle 6 of FIG. 1 to lock the shower head in a certain position.

The shower head can be touched on the handle 9 and pulled out of the holder perpendicular to the plane of the paper, preferably in the direction of the wall. If the jaws 14, see also FIG. 4 , in the center plane of the showerhead housing 8 have a circular arc-shaped inner contour 16, there is also a certain locking of the showerhead housing in the holder, without the showerhead housing has to have a shape at which it can be seen that this position should be supported. One can not see the shower head taken out of the holder that it is intended to be mounted in a shower holder.

The embodiment of the FIG. 6 differs from the previous embodiments in that the wall arm 25 is not forked, but has only a single arm 11, which, however, is arranged asymmetrically. In the area of the front end 12 of the arm 11, the bracket 13 is attached laterally. Again, the bracket 13 may include a tensioned on tension element 15, which braces the two jaws 14 of the holder towards each other, at least when the showerhead housing 8 is inserted. For rotation about the front axis, a handle button 24 may be attached laterally.

The bracket 3, which is fixed to the wall 1, is here constructed of two parts 3a, 3b. The part 3b, on which the pivot axis is mounted for the wall arm 25, can be indicated overall by a dashed line Axis 23 are rotated, which is perpendicular to the wall surface and thus horizontal.

Of course, an embodiment is possible in which the arm 11 projects straight from the bracket 3 and the bracket 13 is mounted centrally on the front end 12 of the arm 11.

FIG. 7 shows one of the FIG. 5 corresponding representation of a holder 13 for the showerhead housing 8, wherein the showerhead housing 8 is not shown for improved illustration. The two jaws 14 connecting tension member 15 'is formed as parallel to the connecting line extending bracket, so that the showerhead housing 8 when it is inserted between the jaws 14, the tension member 15' is not touched. Nevertheless, this element 15 'is also designed as a tension element in order to generate the clamping force necessary for holding the showerhead housing 8.

FIG. 8 now shows one of the FIG. 1 similar shower bracket, in which only the bracket for the shower head is changed. In the area of the free end 7 of the arm 5, a cone holder 27 is mounted, in which the handle of the shower head 28 is inserted from above. Conical holders of this type engage the handle or a union nut arranged at the end of the handle. The possibility of attachment proposed by the invention is therefore useful in all types of hand showers that can be mounted with a bracket on a wall bracket.
