Obwohl die Erfindung bevorzugt vorsieht, daß sämtliche Verbindungen zwischen A- und B-Säulen, Schweller und Längsträger in der erläuterten Weise durch vollständiges Einstecken eines jeweiligen Endabschnitts eines der miteinander zu verbindenden Teile in das andere gebil- det ist, kann auch vorgesehen sein, daß lediglich eine oder einige ausgewählte Verbindungen in der beschriebenen Art und Weise hergestellt sind, während zumindest eine der Verbindungen in an sich bekannter Weise dadurch gebildet ist, daß zwei aneinanderstoßende Teile stumpf aneinandergefügt sind. Bei einer solchen Verbindung kann, insbesondere wenn eines der Teile durch Innenhochdruckumformen hergestellt ist, vorgesehen sein, daß eine verbindungsknotenartige Ausformung an dem IHU- Teil ausgebildet ist, wie dies z.B. aus der US 6241310 bekannt ist. Fig. 6 zeigt schematisch und beispielhaft eine solche Verbindung im Bereich der B-Säule, wobei anstelle eines durchgehenden, mit zwei Aufnahmeoffnungen versehenen Schwellerprofils 6 ein mittleres Schwellerteil 24 und ein hinteres Schwellerteil 26 vorgesehen sind, die beiderseits (von vorn und hinten) an eine mit Ausformungen 28 versehene B-Säule 4' angesetzt und angeschweißt sind. Seitenwandmodul für ein Kraftfahrzeug, insbesondere für ein Cabriolet- oder Coupe-Fahrzeug, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Seitenwandmodul als selbstra- gende Spaceframe-Struktur aus vorgefertigten Hohlprofilen gebildet ist und als Hohlprofile mindestens eine A-Säule (2), eine B-Säule (4, 4') und einen diese verbindenden Schweller (6) umfaßt, wobei A- und/oder B-Säule (2, 4, 4') mit ihrem (jeweiligen) unteren En- dabschnitt (2a, 4a) formschlüssig in (jeweils) zwei den (jeweiligen) Endabschnitt (2a, 4a) formschlüssig umschließende Aufnahmeoffnungen (12, 14, 16, 18) des Schwellers (6) eingesetzt und zusätzlich kraftschlüssig damit verbunden sind.1.
