Description

The invention relates to a nozzle for a floor care appliance according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such a nozzle is for example by the DE 197 30 709 C2 or by the EP 1 595 485 A1 known.

The cleaning of soils is mainly dependent on the suction power of the floor care equipment. This suction power is determined by the coordination of negative pressure, air delivery and the shape of the suction nozzle located at the nozzle. This suction mouthpiece is located on the bottom of the nozzle facing the floor to be cleaned and comprises a sliding plate or sliding plastic. The sliding plate forms the molded sliding sole, in which a suction mouthpiece with a suction channel, which contains at least one recessed air duct with suction mouth edges, which flows air on dense pile of textile floor coverings. Preferably, the air duct of the suction mouthpiece is formed to the outer edge of the sliding sole. Furthermore, the sliding sole may be carriers of supporting elements consisting of rolling bodies, sliding surfaces or sliding edges on which the nozzle slides.

For picking up threads, lint, hair, etc., the sliding sole is a carrier of recessed thread lifters located near the central suction channel. The optimum cleaning effect of soils or the suction power of the nozzle depends on the design of the sliding sole. The overall performance of the floor care device should not be increased, because this leads to an increased sliding force (resistance to movement) of the nozzle on textile floor coverings. Rather, an optimization of the suction power in the depth of the pores of the textile floor covering should be achieved. Particular importance is therefore attached to the molded in the sliding sole intake and integrated in the soleplate thread lifter. Furthermore, the geometry, the shape and the arrangement of the front and rear Saugmundkanten and the intake and air duct of the nozzle are fluidically matched to each other. Saugmundkanten form the stall or working edges over which air sucked in operation flows into the associated air ducts and from there into the intake duct.

An example of such a nozzle of a floor care device and their arrangement of the elements intake duct, air duct and thread lifter in the sliding sole are in the DE 42 43 244 C2 disclosed. With this design, the thread lifter, which is embedded in the deepening of the sliding sole, has a curved shape with its textile surface and does not have a pronounced suction mouth edge. The disadvantage of this nozzle, that an interruption of Saugmundkanten the air ducts is formed and thus no continuous sliding edge in the soleplate is present (see Fig. 4).

From further examples ( DE 43 04 6814 C2 and DE 44 06 156 A1 ) is well known that the recesses or lowered surface portions in the sliding sole interrupt the suction mouth edges of the air duct and caused by the glued strip-shaped thread lifter no continuous Saugmundkanten. The DE 197 30 709 C2 discloses that in the middle region of the vacuum cleaner mouthpiece in the course of the working edges, the known thread lifters are used, whereby also the Saugmundkanten the suction mouthpiece are interrupted.

In the DE 199 00 968 C1 the rear suction mouth edge in the region of the intake passage is interrupted by a depression located in the flow space. This disadvantage is intended in a further embodiment ( Fig. 2 ) be eliminated. The recess in the sliding sole in the region of the intake duct at the rear suction mouth edge is filled by the use of a plastic part, which forms a web similar in construction to the rear suction mouth edge of the air duct. Behind the bridge is a strömumgsbildende depression, which is followed by the separate thread lifter. This between the web, which is interrupted with openings or holes to the intake, and the convex thread take-up recess increases the distance between the thread lifter and web. Although the front thread lifter is inserted in a limited by two narrow ribs receiving recess. These ribs do not serve as Saugmundkanten, because they are not on the same contour as the adjacent Saugmundkanten the air duct and are provided with openings. Furthermore, the thread lifts used are the known crowned embodiment.

In the DE 199 06 137 C1 the gap located in the bottom sole in the area of the Saugmundkanten is filled with plastic inserts, which provides a peripheral edge of the suction channels with demolition edges, the plastic inserts in turn have recesses in which the separate thread lifter are used and the demolition edges are provided with openings or holes , The rear thread lifter is spaced from the trailing edge by a flow space. As in the embodiment in Fig. 2 shown forms behind the spoiler edge to the convex thread lifter a recess in which dirt accumulates adversely.

The EP 1 595 485 A1 discloses a floor nozzle in which the rear edge of the suction mouth is formed by an extension of the suction channel. The front suction mouth edge is formed by the thread lifter itself, but this consists only of textile material.

From the state of the art and from practice a variety of embodiments are thus known, but all are still associated with certain disadvantages. In particular, the addition of the floor nozzle with a thread lifter and its integration in the soleplate leads to aerodynamic disadvantages, since the use of the Thread lifter interruptions in the air ducts and in the air duct occur, which in turn has suction power losses.

Furthermore, caused by the most spherical design of the thread lifter and by the direct contact with the soil to be cleaned increased wear in the used Schrägborstenvelour or brush plush.

Another disadvantage is that the contour line of the thread lifter and the contour line of Saugmundkanten with respect to the plane of the soil to be cleaned are far apart and that the installation of the thread lifter contingent interruption of Saugmundkanten has a deteriorated cleaning effect of the dust through the nozzle result.

The invention thus raises the problem of developing a nozzle for floor care appliances, which has a simple structure in which suction power losses are avoided by using a thread lifter and with which a greater depth effect in the pores is achieved with textile floor coverings.

According to the invention, this problem is solved by the features of claim 1. Further features and embodiments of the invention will become apparent from the following subclaims.

A floor nozzle designed with the features according to the invention makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of the dust pickup, improves the suction properties of the nozzle and provides better deep cleaning of the pores of textile floor coverings.

In particular, this is due to the inventive design of the thread lifter with the web forming a rigid edge and the immediately following behind the web textile part. When cleaning a carpet, the bridge combs the pile, thus opening the pile in favor of an improved depth effect.

In addition, the wear of the textile material is reduced by the inventive design of the thread lifter. The thread lifter is simple and easy to replace.

In the Fig. 1 a nozzle (1) is shown, which is suitable for example in connection with a floor or hand vacuum cleaner for the cleaning of textile floor coverings and smooth floors. For support and support on the floor to be cleaned, the nozzle has a rear roller body (29) and front sliding edges (7, 8, 14, 15). The nozzle 1 is formed on the underside with a sliding sole (3) and at least one thread lifter (9, 10) attached to the sliding sole (3). The sliding sole (3) is preferably a deep-drawn metal part. It has a plurality of shaped portions, namely a rear horizontal portion (27), an adjoining inclined surface (26), a front rounded sloping surface (25) and an air channel (5, 6) located therein.
The formations of the sliding sole (3) influence the suction properties of the nozzle (1), especially the suction mouthpiece (2) enclosing front and rear suction mouth edge (7, 8) of the air duct (5, 6) in the region of the intake duct (4). is interrupted by a recess (24) and a recess (23). The depression (24) is located on the rear suction mouth edge (8) of the air channel (5, 6) of the sliding sole (3), the recess (23) on the front suction mouth edge (7). The resulting gaps (23, 24) on both sides of the intake duct (4) are intended for receiving a strip-shaped thread lifter (9, 10), wherein the thread lifter is provided with fastening means (20). The fastening means (20) are formed in a known manner as releasable latching connection means, the latching webs engage during insertion of the thread lifter (9, 10) in an opening in the sliding sole.

The thread lifter (9, 10) is - as from Fig. 2 seen in detail - from a textile part (16, 16 ') and a support part (17, 17'), which is designed as a plastic part. The plastic part (17, 17 ') has an upwardly directed, integrally formed web (11) and a downwardly directed fastening element (20). The textile part (16, 16 ') is mounted behind the web (11) on the upwardly directed surface of the plastic part (17, 17').
The plastic part (17, 17 ') of the thread lifter (9, 10) can be connected to the textile part (16, 16') in the plastic injection molding process and additionally provides a by back injection on the support member (17, 17 ') formed web (18) for it in that the textile part (16, 16 ') is enclosed and fixed in its edge region. The textile part (16, 16 ') of the thread lifter (9, 10) is preferably a brush plush of a diagonally aligned bristled suede.

The textile part (16, 16 ') can lie with the upper edge of the web (11) at the same height. At the in Fig. 2 shown thread take-off (9) is the thickness or height of the textile part (16, 16 ') chosen so that the upper edge of the textile part (16, 16') including Bürstenflor (16 ") with the upper edge of the web (11) not quite on This has the advantage that the sliding edge (4) formed on the web (11) protects the brush pile against wear especially well.

To replace the thread lifters (9, 10) from the recess (23) or the recess (24) of the sliding sole (3) has the thread lifter (9, 10), on the sole (3) facing side or the bottom side facing away at least a groove (21) into which a tool for releasing the connection can be inserted. The inserted front and rear thread lifter (9, 10) is formed with a bottom-side web (11), which acts as a sliding edge (14, 15). The sliding edge (14, 15) of the thread lifter (9, 10) acts on the fibers when combing the textile, florid floor covering, namely directly on the intake channel (4), so that an improved cleaning depth effect is achieved.

In the embodiment according to Fig. 3 forms the plastic part (17, 17 ') of the thread lifter (9, 10) has a channel wall (22, 22'), the gap (23, 24) in the sliding sole (3) of the air duct (5, 6) bordering in the area Intake duct (4) closes. The upper open end of the channel wall (22, 22 ') of the bottom-side webs (11) of the sliding edge thread lifters (9, 10) is designed as a suction mouth edge (12, 13). The Saugmundkanten (12, 13) extend parallel to the common plane of the bottom as well as the Saugmundkanten (7, 8) of the air duct (5, 6), whereby a circumferential suction mouth edge on the suction mouthpiece (2) for the air flow. The continuous front suction mouth edge (7, 12) and the rear suction mouth edge (8, 13) increase the effectiveness of the suction power.

The textile part (16, 16 ') connects directly to the web (11). A significant advantage, which is achieved by the immediate adjacency of the textile part (16, 16 ') to the web (11), is that by avoiding a gap and by the alignment of the contour line of the textile material to the contour line of the suction mouth ( 12, 13) in the horizontal plane of the floor to be cleaned an improved cleaning effect on the thread lifter (9, 10) occurs.
The contour line of the flat surface (18) of the textile part (16, 16 ') of the thread lifter (9, 10) is slightly lower or lowered relative to the contour line of the suction mouth edge (12, 13) or the web (11), whereby the ground contact and thus the wear of the textile material can be reduced. In particular, this effect on smooth floors, if the sliding sole (3) is not supported by additional sliding surfaces or rolling elements and the sliding pressure directly on the thread lifter loads.
In the execution according to Fig. 3 the front thread lifter (9) is slightly inclined at an angle (19) and it has in the front region a rounding (28) or chamfer to produce at this point no air flow disturbing edge. At the air duct (4) facing side of the web (11) has a flow-active suction mouth edge (12).
The rear thread lifter (10) is disposed in the recess (24) in front of the sloping surface (26) of the sliding sole. Here, too, forms a flow-active suction mouth edge (13).
