- the one or more drivers 18 are in this embodiment with respect to the vertical machine axis radially within the circular path of movement, on which the filling elements 1 move with rotating rotor.
- FIG. 1 16a denotes a flushing plate which can be used in a filling machine which does not have the flushing plates 16 and the actuating means (catch 18, driving pins 19, etc.) for these flushing plates 16.
- the rinsing plate 16a which in turn is provided for each filling element 1 of the filling machine, is inserted into the grooves 17 of this container carrier for the preparation of the cleaning or rinsing phase in each case with the container carrier 7 lowered, so that the seal 16a.1 below the housing projection 2.1 or the open end of the recess 15 and then by lifting the container support 7, the flushing plate 16a with its seal 16a.1 turn in sealing position with the edge 2.1.1 can be brought.
- each rinsing plate 16a is removed again after the container carrier 7 has been lowered.
- the described embodiments have in common that the movement of the purging plates 16 between the starting position and the rinsing position or the insertion and removal of the purging plates 16a takes place where the container carrier 7 are lowered by the at least one control cam 11, ie at the container inlet or container outlet or in the angular range between the container outlet and the container inlet.
- the rotor 3 of the filling machine for this purpose is driven at low speed or clocked.
- This design has the advantage that basically no further changes and / or adjustments to the filling machine are necessary for the initiation and termination of the cleaning or rinsing phase, in particular also no adjustments of the at least one control cam 11 or other guiding or control elements. In principle, however, other procedures for the initiation and termination of the cleaning or rinsing phase are conceivable.
- the hub to the container carrier 7 from his in the FIG. 1 shown position for receiving or releasing a container 6 by the control cam 11 must be moved downwards, so may be less than the one stroke that is required to lower the purge plate 16 as far as this for their movement between the starting position and the rinsing position necessary is.
- control cam 11 which controls the movement of the container carrier 7 during the normal filling process
- a control cam 11.1 which also cooperates with the control rollers 10 of the filling elements and with the container carrier 7 only during preparation and Completion of the cleaning and rinsing phase continues to be moved by the control cam 11 down.
- the control cam 11.1 is then disabled, so that during the cleaning and rinsing despite the co-operating with the cam 11 rollers 10 in each rotational position of the rotor 3, the seals 16.1 or 16a.1 all Spülplatten 16 or 16a the compression springs 13 abut sufficiently against the respective edge 2.1.1 to create closed washrooms.

In the figures, 1 is a filling element which is formed in the illustrated embodiment as filling tube filling element and is provided with its
This
Also known is an embodiment in which the bias of the
The
At the bottom of section 7.1.2, a fork-like support plate 7.2 of the
From time to time, a cleaning or rinsing of the filling machine, the
For cleaning, the housing projection 2.1 of each
In order to prepare the cleaning or rinsing phase, each
Each flushing
The described embodiments have in common that the movement of the purging
This design has the advantage that basically no further changes and / or adjustments to the filling machine are necessary for the initiation and termination of the cleaning or rinsing phase, in particular also no adjustments of the at least one
This makes it possible, in addition to the at least one
