Abstract

Ein Abgasbehandlungssystem für eine Brennkraftmaschine, insbesondere Diesel-Brennkraftmaschine, umfasst eine Katalysatoranordnung (16) sowie im Abgasströmungsweg (14) stromaufwärts der Katalysatoranordnung (16) wenigstens eine Verdampfer/Brenner-Anordnung (20), wobei die Verdampfer/Brenner-Anordnung (20) umfasst:
  • eine Gehäuseanordnung (21) mit einer darin gebildeten Verdampfungs/Brenn-Kammer (22), welche zu dem Abgasströmungsweg (14) hin offen ist,
  • ein Verdampfermedium (34) zum Aufnehmen von flüssigem Kohlenwasserstoff und zur Abgabe von Kohlenwasserstoffdampf zur Verdampfungs/Brenn-Kammer (22),
  • eine Heizeinrichtung (38) zur Erwärmung des Verdampfermediums (34),
  • eine Zündeinrichtung (42) zum Starten der Verbrennung des in der Verdampfungs/Brenn-Kammer vorhandenen Kohlenwasserstoffdampfes.
