Claims (14)

  1. An apparatus for mounting a winding means, in particular for a garden hose, having a housing (1) accommodating the winding means (2), which housing is arranged on a holder (9) so as to be swivellable about a vertical axis (8a), the holder taking the form of a supporting body (9) which comprises a bearing pin (8) forming the vertical axis (8a), characterised in that the supporting body (9) comprises two mounting faces (11, 14) at right angles to one another, one (11) of which extends parallel to the axis (8a) of the bearing pin (8).
  2. An apparatus according to claim 1, characterised in that the bearing pin takes the form of plug-in peg (8), which projects from one side of the supporting body (9), and in that the housing (1) is provided with a guide opening (7) for insertion of the plug-in peg (8).
  3. An apparatus according to claim 2, characterised in that the guide opening takes the form of a guide sleeve (7) conformed to the external dimensions of the plug-in peg (8).
  4. An apparatus according to claim 3, characterised in that the guide sleeve (7) and plug-in peg (8) are of cylindrical construction.
  5. An apparatus according to claim 1, characterised in that the mounting faces (11, 14) take the form of mounting flanges with mounting openings (12, 15).
  6. An apparatus according to claim 5, characterised in that the mounting face (14) extending perpendicularly to the axis (8a) of the plug-in peg (8) constitutes a standing surface under the supporting body (9) with flange parts (14a, 14b) projecting laterally beyond the width (b) of the supporting body (9).
  7. An apparatus according to claim 6, characterised in that the flange parts (14a, 14b) are provided with mounting openings (15) and with U-shaped notches (16) open towards the outside.
  8. An apparatus according to claim 2, characterised in that the supporting body (9) takes the form of a one-piece component with a guide (10) for fitting the plug-in peg (8).
  9. An apparatus according to claim 2, characterised in that the supporting body takes the form of a one-piece component with integral plug-in peg.
  10. An apparatus according to claim 2, characterised in that the plug-in peg (8) is provided in the area of one end of the supporting body (9) and the mounting face (11) extending parallel to the axis (8a) of the plug-in peg (8) is provided at the other end of the supporting body (9).
  11. An apparatus according to claim 1, characterised in that the housing (1), when viewed in the direction of the axis of the winding drum (2), comprises a counter-bearing (20) in one housing corner for swivellable guidance, which counter-bearing (20) forms a seat for bearing on a supporting body (9), which seat is offset horizontally and vertically by an amount relative to the axis of the winding drum (2) which is greater than the radius of the winding drum.
  12. An apparatus according to claim 11, characterised in that the housing (1), when viewed in the direction of the axis of the winding drum (2), exhibits the form of an equilateral triangle with slightly outwardly curved sides.
  13. An apparatus according to claim 12, characterised in that an outlet slot is associated with another corner of the housing (1) .
  14. An apparatus according to claim 13, characterised in that a carrying handle (7) is provided at the third corner of the housing (1).
