Abstract

Eine Beleuchtungseinrichtung (1) für Fahrzeuge, insbesondere eine Signalleuchte, weist mindestens ein Leuchtmittel (2) auf, das in einer Leuchtenkammer (3) hinter einer transluzenten Lichtscheibe (4) angeordnet ist. Zum Bündeln des von dem Leuchtmittel (2) abgestrahlten Lichts hat die Beleuchtungseinrichtung (1) mindestens einen Reflektor (6). Der Reflektor (6) und/oder wenigstens eine dem Leuchtmittel (2) zugewandte Seitenbegrenzungswand (7) der Leuchtenkammer (3) weist eine Mattierung auf. Dadurch ergibt sich sowohl im eingeschalteten als auch im ausgeschalteten Zustand des Leuchtmittels (2) ein homogenes Erscheinungsbild der Beleuchtungseinrichtung.
