Definitions
- the invention relates to a Doppeldrallsprühdüse with two swirl chambers for generating spray jets with opposite swirl and with a common inflow channel, which runs in a median plane between the swirl chambers and each opens tangentially into the swirl chambers.
- a double-twist spray nozzle of this type is known from DE 100 33 781 C1. Nozzles of this type are used in particular, as well as other double-jet spray nozzles according to DE 197 58 526 A1, predominantly for so-called gas scrubbers, in which a scrubbing liquid is introduced via a plurality of spray nozzles in the gas stream as evenly distributed over the cross section.
- gas scrubbers can be, for example, flue gas purification systems in which acidic flue gas components such as sulfur dioxide, chlorine or hydrogen fluoride and, to a lesser extent, flue gas dust are separated by using appropriate washing liquids.
- the advantage of In the above-mentioned double-flow nozzles it is the case that the swirl effect of the injected washing liquid cancel each other out, so that an undesirable influence of the flow in the gas scrubber can be avoided. This leads to a higher efficiency.
- the nozzle assembly in such scrubbers is distributed over several levels, the gas in the scrubbers usually flows from bottom to top and the atomized medium falls down, ie against the gas flow.
- spraying eccentric nozzles are provided to avoid that in the top of gas scrubbers, in particular flue gas desulphurisation sprayed droplet separator is sprayed.
- eccentric nozzles have the following disadvantages: since the same volume flow as in the case of the double-jet spray nozzles is often desired in the lower region, it must now be sprayed through a swirl chamber (mouthpiece); This coarsens the droplet spectrum, which can adversely affect the process. If you want to keep the drop spectrum constant and halved therefore the flow rate per nozzle, so you have to place twice as many nozzles, which can lead to high costs (fasteners, mounting, pipe socket). Since the swirl direction of all eccentric nozzles is rectified, a swirl is imposed on the gas flow, which - as indicated above - can have a negative effect on the leaching.
- both swirl chambers are open towards the same side.
- overlapping sprays do not result in any disadvantageous formation of the resulting spray fan.
- the oppositely directed radial velocity of the droplets results in an impact such that the droplets burst and thereby refine the droplet spectrum.
- This effect is also present in traditionally arranged nozzles with a distance of 700-1200 mm from one another, it is no longer so pronounced due to the radial velocity braked there due to the air resistance.
- the invention therefore produces a droplet spectrum which contributes to improved efficiency. Since the swirl chambers themselves must be designed for only half the volume flow, the overall length and thus also the moments acting on the nozzle connection can be reduced.
- the axes of the swirl chambers can extend at an angle to each other, which opens to the outlet sides.
- This embodiment allows an enlargement of the area covered by the spray jets. The risk of untreated gas strands passing through the scrubber is thus reduced.
- the new double vortex spray nozzle is very compact and effective. It has been shown that when the setting angle of the axes of the swirl chambers is about 20 °, a particularly advantageous spray jet training can be achieved.
- FIGS. 1 to 3 show that the new double-twist spray nozzle has a compact housing 1 with a connecting piece 2, which is externally provided with a connecting thread 3, which can be screwed to a connecting nut of an inflow pipe (not shown).
- the housing 1 encloses two spin-symmetrical chambers 5 and 6 formed mirror-symmetrically to the central plane 4 shown in FIG. 2, each of which merges into trumpet-shaped outlet openings 5a, 6a.
- the axes 7 and 8 of the swirl chambers 5 and 6 are mutually inclined ⁇ at an angle which is 20 ° in the embodiment.
- the flow channel 10 of the connecting piece 2 passes without significant cross-sectional constriction in the two swirl chambers 5 and 6, which are both open to the same side.
- the supplied through the connecting piece 2 beam of the liquid medium used - which is selected depending on the application for the gas scrubber concerned - applies to the against its flow direction pointing cutting edge 9 on.
- the jet is therefore divided into two parts, one of which is introduced to the right by the swirl chamber 6 and the other anti-clockwise in the swirl chamber 5, from where then the spray jet exit takes place in the form of a spray cone on the same side.
- the flow channel 10 goes on the side facing away from the cutting edge 9 behind an edge 11 in the respective swirl chamber 5 and 6, he forms an intersection with the associated swirl chamber.
- the two spray jets have an opposite twist and overlap in the facing area. There, despite the rectified, acting in the circumferential direction velocity vectors due to the opposing radial velocity secondary splitting of the liquid droplets formed in the spray, as already mentioned, which has a positive effect on the efficiency of the gas cleaning.
- the size of the overlap region of both spray cones can be influenced and it has been shown that a particularly good droplet distribution occurs in the double spray jet at a selected angle ⁇ of about 20 °. Due to the inclination of the axes against each other and the entire spray jet area is increased, so that the contact area with the gas to be cleaned is larger.

Abstract
Description
- Fig. 1
- eine perspektivische Darstellung einer neuen Doppeldrallsprühdüse,
- Fig. 2
- Fig. 3
- eine Seitenansicht,
- Fig. 4
