Abstract

The invention relates to a method for packaging piece-items in a disposable packaging, and to a disposable packaging. A labelled support card comprising at least one gas-impermeable layer is provided with at least one piece-item. The projected bearing surface of the piece-item and a joint surface of the labelled support card surrounding said bearing surface are smaller than the largest gas-impermeable layer. Openings are made around said joint surface along a closed three-dimensional curve, piercing at least all the gas-impermeable layers. The fitted support card is covered by a gas-impermeable extensible film. The space defined by the extensible film and the support card is evacuated by means of the openings. At least one joint surface of the extensible film enters into adhesive contact with at least one joint surface of the labelled support card, forming a sealed joint.

Description

The invention relates to a method for packaging piece goods in a disposable packaging and a disposable packaging.

For the packaging of piece goods in disposable packaging carrier cards or so-called Skinkarten are often used, which are coated after loading with a plastic film. The coating of the film is usually done by stretch forming a firmly clamped stretch film. When coating over the cargo on the carrier card, for example, the preheated stretch film is stretched by changing the wall thickness. At the same time, the space between the stretch film and the carrier card is evacuated through the air-permeable carrier card, so that the stretch film fits snugly against the piece goods and the carrier card, cf. inter alia WO 93/24374 A1. The stretch film and the carrier card coated, for example, with a heat-sealing layer, each contact a joining surface. Due to the air permeability of the carrier card, moisture or aroma substances can escape and dry out or make the piece goods unusable. Moisture can penetrate the disposable packaging just as well, thus damaging the packaged goods.

In the manufacture of a film is adhered to a porous carrier cardboard, this lower film is perforated before and after sticking on its entire surface. After the loading of the carrier cardboard prepared in this way, another film is drawn with heating over the product to be packaged and the carrier cardboard. This top film is then sucked through the carrier cardboard to the packaged product and the perforated bottom film. Because of the perforation of the lower film and the carrier carton packaging is in all areas where the upper film does not rest on the lower film - which is at least in the zone in which the estate is - permeable to gas and thus not aroma-tight.

Furthermore, WO 00/78611 A2 describes a process for the production of a packaging in which an air-impermeable lower film is adhered to a carrier material and a further upper film is pulled under heating over the product to be packaged. The air between the two films is sucked at the edges of the lower film by channels embedded in the substrate. To improve the adhesion in the joining surface, this has beads, in which the films are pulled. External influences, such as temperature or humidity, can cause the adhesive bond between the films to dissipate and moisture to penetrate into the enclosed space.

No. 3,481,101 A and US Pat. No. 2,750,719 A each disclose a process for the production of skin packs from interconnected films. In this case, in each case a lower film, which is perforated outside the support area of a piece good, placed on a provided with Absaugkanälen working table of the suction. After this, an upper foil is applied. To the underside of the work table an evacuation device is now connected, which sucks air through the suction channels of the work table and the perforation of the lower film from the space between the two films. During this suction, the lower film is drawn into the holes of the work table, which are completely or partially covered by the film. On the underside of the lower film knob-like bulges are generated. If a perforation of the lower film is not directly above a suction channel of the work table, through this perforation, the upper film can not be sucked to the lower film. The compound of both films has a gap through which e.g. Moisture can penetrate or escape. An effective protection of the packaged cargo is not given.

From GB 752 719 A a Verpackungsyerfahren is known, in which the skin film consisting of two films is produced at a single workstation. In the suction channels of the work table needles are arranged, with which the lying on the work table film is perforated. The suction channels in the work table and the needles are to be arranged depending on the outer geometry of the goods to be packaged. Because of the high lead time at the workstation and the complex drive of the needles, this method can only be used for special disposable packaging.

The present invention is therefore based on the problem to develop a packaging method for a disposable packaging and a disposable packaging that offers good flavor and moisture protection of the piece goods.

This problem is solved with the features of claims 1 and 10. For this purpose, a labeled carrier card, which comprises at least one gas-impermeable layer, equipped with at least one piece goods. Here, the projected contact surface of the cargo on the labeled carrier card and a surrounding joining surface of the labeled carrier card are smaller than the largest gas-impermeable layer. Breakthroughs are created around the joining surface along a closed space curve that penetrates at least all the gas-impermeable layers. The stocked carrier card is covered with a gas-impermeable stretch film. The space defined by the stretch film and the carrier card is evacuated through the apertures. The stretch film contacted adhering, forming a tight joint, at least with a joining surface with the joining surface of the labeled carrier card.

During evacuation of the gap between the stretch film and the carrier card, the stretch film attaches itself to the label. The air is sucked out of the joining surface through the openings. The stretch film is sucked close to the joining surface of the labeled carrier card and adheres to this firmly. As a result, it forms a dense, the piece goods surrounding gap with the labeled carrier card. In this joining, the joining surfaces of the stretch film and the label are sealed together. This uniform seal around the cargo prevents the exchange of moisture or flavorings of the piece goods with the environment. The packaging is airtight.

The breakthroughs, unevenness of the labeled carrier card may possibly be combined with depressions or elevations or elevations of the label. In this case, the openings penetrate at least all the gas-impermeable layers of the labeled carrier card. You can surround the support surface at regular or irregular intervals. The unevenness here lies on a flat or spatially curved, possibly discontinuous curve.

The support surface can also be surrounded by a continuous or endless bead or survey. The apertures may be perforated - with e.g. equidistant imprints - be arranged.

The piece goods can e.g. pharmaceutical products or dispensers in which pharmaceutical products are stored. The pharmaceutical products are often particularly sensitive to moisture, flavor and drug loss. The sealing of the joining surfaces in the zone of unevenness prevents premature aging or damage to the products and increases their shelf life.

The coating of the film over the carrier card can take place in a stretch-forming process, for example in a skin method. In this case, for example, the stretch film is applied to the piece goods under hot forming. The individual piece goods are then packed in a skin package.

The label may include, for example, a printed cardboard or film for presenting the product. It can be constructed in one or more layers. Here, for example, the the General cargo facing side of the label have a moisture and aroma-tight film. This can, for example, to ensure good legibility of the label, be a clear, nonpolar or low polarized film. In order to allow the stretch film to adhere to such a film, an adhesive, for example an adhesive seal layer, is applied to it, for example. But even the use of a polarized film is conceivable.

The stretch film, for example, a clear, non-polar or slightly polarized film.

In a first step (1), a label (20) is produced, which in a second step (2) is applied to a carrier card (10), for example a skincarton. For example, after this labeling, the label (20) with the carrier card (10) in a third step (3) perforated before the individual carrier card (10) in a fourth step (4) with a piece goods (50), eg Dispenser package (50), is equipped. The populated carrier card (10) is now coated in the fifth step (5) with a stretch film (40).

The - shown here excessive - label (20) is constructed, for example, two layers. To produce the label (20), e.g. on a carrier tape (29) a one-sided self-adhesive plastic film (21) applied, wherein the adhesive side (22) to the carrier tape (29) shows. The plastic film (21), for example, has a thickness of 30 microns. These are then applied to e.g. by means of solvent lamination, a gas-tight film (23) of nonpolar plastic, e.g. a polyethylene film with a thickness of 100 microns, applied. The latter carries on its side facing away from the plastic film (21), for example, an adhesive sealant layer (24), e.g. was created by brushing with a heat-seal adhesive.

The label (20) thus produced is e.g. by means of the carrier tape (29) for labeling (2) promoted. Here, the label (20) is removed from the carrier tape (29) and applied to the example gas-permeable carrier card (10). Now stick the label (20) with the self-adhesive side (22) of the plastic film (21) on the carrier card (10). Labeling (2) may be static or dynamic, i. be done with stationary or moving carrier card (10). If the label (20) is round and unlabeled, it may be aligned omnidirectionally on the carrier card (10), in another structure it has one or more preferred directions.

Figur 5, in regelmäßigen Abständen Durchbrüche (32) erzeugt. In the next method step (3), the labels (20) are perforated with the cards (10) in a predetermined zone, outside the later support surface (26) of the piece goods (50). During perforation, on a closed space curve (38) surrounding the later contact surface (26), cf. figure 5, generated at regular intervals breakthroughs (32). Here, the distance of the space curve (38) to the support surface (26), for example, at least 2 mm, possibly about 3 mm. FIG. 2 shows this step enlarged. The tools (60) for this purpose are, for example, 36 separating tools in the form of individual needles (62) which are driven, for example, via a common lifting, swiveling and / or moving mechanism (63). These needles (62), for example, have a diameter of 1.5 mm and a point angle of 22 °. The length of the tip is thus about 4 mm. In this needles arise in the label (20) and in the carrier card (10) many breakthroughs (32), which taper, for example, from top to bottom. The individual tool (60) comprises, for example, in each case a forming tool arranged around each individual needle (62), for example individual knobs (64) with a diameter of 15 mm. During the needle stroke, the nubs (64) come into engagement with the label (20) shortly before reaching the lower end position. You lower this, for example, by about 0.4 mm. The apertures (32) and the dimple impressions (34) are unevennesses (30) of the surface of the label (20).

The openings (32) may also be cylindrical or formed with another geometric shape. The breakthroughs (32) or countersinks can be produced instead of a needle (62) with another forming and / or cutting tool (60). The single severing tool (62) may e.g. also be a knife, are produced with the openings (32). Instead of a perforation (33) and individual discrete openings (32), possibly with countersinks, can be effected.

Figur 5, dritter Quadrant. The unevennesses (30) of the label (20) produced by a forming tool (64) can be, for example, concave or convex. The forming tool (64) can form the surface of the label (20) freely or eg with a die. The unevenness (30) can For example, a channel-like beading (35) extending along the space curve (38) and tangent to or intersecting the openings (32), cf. Figure 5, third quadrant.

When loading the carrier card (10), cf. 1, for example, a single dispenser package (50) is placed on a label (20). The dispenser package (50) is then, for example, flat on the support surface (26), within the perforation (33) on.

The so-equipped carrier card (10) is placed in the next processing step (5) on a lifting table (71). This lifting table (71) has in its table surface (73), for example, suction channels, which are connected to an evacuation port (72). The carrier card (10) can cover individual of the suction channels after touchdown.

Above the lifting table (71), a clamping frame (74) is arranged, which clamps the stretch film (40), which, for example, unwound from a drum (76), is available. The stretch film (40) is e.g. a non-polar or weakly polarized polyethylene film with a thickness of 80 microns and an elongation at break of about 300%. The area of the tenter frame (74) spanned by the stretch film (40) is here e.g. larger than the table surface (73) of the lifting table (71). At the inwardly facing surfaces of the clamping frame (74), for example, sealing elements not shown here are arranged.

Oberhalb des Spannrahmens (74) ist eine Heizung (79) angeordnet. Diese ist z.B. seitlich wegschwenkbar.Above the clamping frame (74), a heater (79) is arranged. This is e.g. swung sideways.

To coat the stretch film (40) on the carrier card (10) of the lifting table (71) is raised until the clamping frame (74) surrounds the lifting table (71) gas-tight. Now, one to the evacuation port (72) connected evacuation pump switched on. The ambient pressure remains prevailing on the side of the stretch film (40) oriented toward the heating (79), while the pressure in the intermediate space (47) delimited by the stretch film (40) and the carrier card (10) is reduced.

Here, the stretch film (40) applies to the dispenser package (50) and to the label (20).

The air from the gap (47) between the carrier card (10) and the stretch film (40), see. 4, is sucked through the gas-permeable carrier card (10) and through the openings (32). Here, e.g. the dimple impressions (34) as inlet channels of the air. A part of the air of the intermediate space (47) can also be sucked off around the carrier card (10). The intermediate space (47) reduces to a residual space, cf. FIG. 4. The stretch film (40) abuts the edge (51) of the dispenser package (50) and the label (20). In this case, a joining surface (45) of the stretch film (40) contacts the gas-impermeable layer (23) of the label (20) coated with the adhesive seal layer (24), inter alia. in a joining surface (25). This joining surface (25) of the label (20) is bounded inwardly by the bearing surface (26) of the piece goods (50) and outwardly by the space curve (38). When stretched, the stretch film (40) protrudes at least outwards beyond the joining surface (25).

By means of the heater (79), the stretch film (40) is heated to about 80 ° C, for example. In this temperature range, the stretch film (40), for example, viscous properties and expands when lifting the lifting table (71) on the dispenser package (50) to reduce its wall thickness. Upon further lifting of the lifting table (71) as well as on further suction of the air, the stretch film (40) lies close to all free surfaces the dispenser package (50) and the label (20). Under the influence of the heating, the heat-seal adhesive allows the stretch film (40) to be joined to the label (20). By sucking the stretch film (40) over the entire surface of the joining surface (25) of the label (20) attracted and adheres to this. The part of the stretch film (40) projecting beyond the joining surface (25) of the label (20) likewise bears against the label (20). Thus, the stretch film (40) covers the bumps (30), the perforation (33), the openings (32) and / or the nubs (34). The two adhering joining surfaces (25, 45) form a tight joint (48) and thus seal the dispenser package (50) against moisture or aroma loss. After switching off or swinging away the heater (79), the stretch film (40) freezes in the now adopted form on the carrier card (10).

In a further, not shown here processing step, the assembled and coated carrier card (10) is divided into individual, at least one dispenser package (50) contained packaging units.

Such a packed dispenser package (50) show in section and in a partial plan view Figures 4 and 5. On the carrier card (10), the two-layer label (20) is applied. Outside the contact surface (26) of the dispenser package (50) projected onto the carrier card (10), the perforation (33) is arranged, for example, on a circular space curve (38). The stretch film (40) fits tightly against the dispenser package (50) and with the joining surface (45) on the label (20). In this case, the stretch film (40) contacts the label (20) on both sides of the perforation (33). In the individual perforations (32) of the perforation (33) countersunk by dimple impressions (34), the stretch film (40) is pulled in. Between the space curve (38) and the edge (51) of the dispenser package (50) is here the annular closed, sealed joining surface (25). It is shown hatched in FIG.

To open the packaging unit, for example, in the area of the dispenser package (50), the stretch film (40) is pressed from above, while the carrier card (10) is held against its edges. The carrier card (10) ruptures at the perforation (33) and allows according to Figure 4, a downward removal of the dispenser package (50).

The label (20) can also be constructed as a single layer. It can e.g. on the side facing away from the card (10) comprise an adhesive layer. A multilayer label (20) may e.g. also be produced on the carrier card (10).

The gas-impermeable layer (23) may be part of the label (20) and / or the carrier card (10). Thus, e.g. a gas-impermeable carrier card (10) with a gas-permeable or gas-impermeable label (20) are combined.

The apertures (32) may e.g. in the case of a gas-permeable carrier card (10), only the label (20) or a gas-tight layer (23) of the label (20) which surrounds the joining surface (25). In the further processing and subsequent distribution then no breakthroughs are visible on the carrier card (10).

These penetrate the gas-impermeable layer (23) of the label (20) facing the dispenser package (50). In this case, the puncture created by the needle tip protrudes, for example, into the carrier card (10). The openings (32) are arranged, for example, in a circumferential bead (35), which are produced with a forming tool (64) against a die as a counter-holder.

As a result, the carrier card (10) retains its flat underside. When the return stroke of the forming tool (64) with the needle (62) possibly generated frays remain in the space of the bead (35) and thus do not hinder the subsequent coating and joining.

The order of the method steps can be different. Thus, for example, the third method step (3), the perforation and possibly the notching, can take place before or after the assembly (4). A Noppung can also take place during the coating of the stretch film (40) on the carrier card (10). In this case, the stretch film (40) can be deformed together with the label (20).
