Definitions

  • the invention relates to a power driven tacker with a driving tool for fastening means and a head piece, which is arranged at an outlet opening of a guide tube of the tacker and has a holding device, the fastener, which are supplied to the head piece via the guide tube, automatically receives and releases.
  • Such Eintreib mara marasus are often used for so-called stand-up tools, with which, for example, the attachment or mounting floor-side or walk-on workpieces or components, such as flat roof elements, can be made by a largely upright person.
  • the tacker is attached to a corresponding handle assembly on which the operator holds the tacker in operation.
  • the holding device is automatically opened and closed when pressing the Eintreibuzes against the workpiece to be mounted and the subsequent relieve.
  • US 5,897,045 shows a stand-up tool with a head piece, wherein the holding device is formed by a pliers device.
  • the pliers device has two clamping jaws, which are each biased by a spring in a closed position in which they initially hold a Wegrinddes fastener automatically.
  • the clamping jaws are pivoted apart, thereby releasing a previously held fastener for driving by means of a tool.
  • Such a holding device has the disadvantage that the head piece transversely to the driving direction does not have a round cross-section, but a cross section with a relatively large cross-sectional length in the pivoting direction of the clamping jaws and a transverse thereto small cross-sectional width.
  • This has the consequence that in the assembly of profiled workpieces, such as corrugated sheets, which are usually attached to the profile valleys must be, the head piece can come into contact with a profile valley only when aligning its cross-sectional length in the longitudinal direction of the profile. For this reason, in many cases an orientation of the stand-up tool against the profile is given. An operator will thus often be embarrassed to have to move laterally on a profiled workpiece when assembling a series of fasteners. Especially with workpieces with a large extent, as is often the case casually with flat roofs, this can be a considerable labor hassle.
  • the US 6,305,253 describes an automatic fastening system with a screwdriver that can be moved on a swivel arm over a workpiece.
  • An automatic feeding system for fasteners is rotatably mounted on the nutrunner.
  • the NL 8104070 describes a screwdriver with a turning tool, in which screws are arranged in a cap.
  • the cap is rotatably mounted and cooperates with the rotary tool.
  • the US 4,705,201 describes a mouthpiece for a fastening device.
  • the mouthpiece has a split support device with a cavity for receiving a fastener.
  • the present invention has the object, in a stand-up tool with a non-round cross-section of the head, to avoid the aforementioned disadvantages and to ensure greater ease of use.
  • the object is achieved in that the head piece is rotatable with at least two definable pivotal positions relative to the rest of the driving tool.
  • the operator has the ability to align the headset relative to the handle assembly as desired in a stand-up tool.
  • the operator will usually align the head piece so that the driving of the fasteners can always be done in straight-line.
  • This achieves a considerable reduction in work, especially with long rows of fasteners to be placed behind one another on profiled workpieces and in this case alternating alignments of the rows.
  • Due to the fixable pivot positions it is possible to determine in advance the intended use of the driving tool or probably required alignments of the head compared to the rest of the tacker and to allow a comfortable change between them.
  • the fixable pivot positions include a pivot angle of about 90 °. This allows the operator to easily switch between a first direction on a profiled workpiece and a second, orthogonal to the first stationary direction. As a result, for the normal application of a stand-up tool, namely the assembly in the longitudinal and transverse direction of a profiling, an easy switching between the required alignments of the head ensures.
  • the tacker has a locking device for fixing the head piece with respect to the rest of the tacker.
  • This locking device has at least one opening on the head piece, in which a Arretiesammlung is.
  • the locking body is acted upon by a force which presses it against the guide tube.
  • On the guide tube at least two receptacles are formed, with which the locking body, in the manner of a latching connection, can be brought into engagement.
  • the locking body is formed by a ball.
  • a spherical shape of the locking body can be easily brought into and out of engagement with the recordings, whereby a good adjustability of the locking device is achieved.
  • the locking body is pressed by a leaf spring against the guide tube.
  • the leaf spring By the leaf spring, the pressurization of the locking body takes place in a very simple and cost-effective manner. Moreover, it is possible with this approach, by changing the leaf spring, the forces that are necessary for adjusting the locking device to change as needed.
  • the tacker has a locking device with a locking screw.
  • the locking screw For non-rotatable locking of the head piece relative to the rest of the tacking device, the locking screw with the end facing away from the screw head through a screw receiving, which is formed on the head piece, laid in one of at least two holes, which are made on the guide tube into it.
  • the screw receptacle or the bore on the locking screw corresponding thread.
  • the tacker has an axial securing with a locking pin, which is held at a fixed state of the head piece on the rest of the driving tool in a receiving bore of the head piece transversely to the driving direction.
  • the locking pin partially projects into a transverse to the driving direction on the guide tube shaped annular groove.
  • Fig. 1 to 7 is a tool-side end of a drive-in device 2 according to the invention shown.
  • This has a head piece 4, which is attached to a Y-shaped tube assembly 6.
  • the tacker 2 should be used for a stand-up tool.
  • a handle assembly 7 is arranged, which allows the operator to operate the tacker 2 at substantially upright posture.
  • the head piece 4 has a collar 8, which is pushed onto an outlet opening 10 on a guide tube 12 of the tube assembly 6.
  • a driving tool 13 is guided along a drive-in shaft 14. With this driving tool 13 fasteners 15, such as screws, bolts or rivets, can be driven into a workpiece.
  • a receiving bore 16 is transversely to the driving axis 14 executed in which a locking pin 18 is received (see Fig. 3 and 5 ).
  • the receiving bore 16 is designed so that it breaks through an inner wall 20 of the collar 8.
  • the locking pin 18, which is inserted into the receiving bore 16 extends in regions beyond the inner wall 20 also inwards.
  • the inner wall 20 breaks through the guide tube 12, an annular groove 22 executed.
  • the mounted in the receiving bore 16 locking pin 18 projects thereby into the annular groove 22 and thus prevents the head piece 4 relative to the guide tube 12 can be moved axially in the direction of Eintreibachse.
  • a locking device 24 is arranged on the collar 8, by which the head piece 4 can be locked against rotation on the pipe assembly 6.
  • this has the collar 8 cylindrical openings 26, in each of which a spherical locking body 28 is held radially displaceable relative to the drive-in axis 14.
  • a constriction 29 is formed, in which a leaf spring 30 is inserted, which is formed in the manner of a slotted cylinder. This presses the locking body 28 in the apertures 26 inwardly in the direction of the guide tube 12.
  • trough-shaped receptacles 34 are formed into which the locking body 28 protrude in the illustrated locked state of the head piece 4.
  • the locking body 28 together with the leaf spring 30 and the receptacles 34 a kind of locking or snap connection, which prevents unwanted twisting of the head piece 4 relative to the rest of the tacking device 2.
  • the locking device 24 has four receptacles 34, which are each arranged at a distance of 90 ° about the driving axis 14 around.
  • any other meaningful and suitable number and spacing of the receptacles 34 is conceivable.
  • the spring characteristic of the leaf spring 30 is selected such that a person operating the tacking device can reach the head piece 4 with reasonable effort by applying a torque such that the locking bodies 28 are moved out of the receptacles 34 in order to engage again in a respective adjacent receptacle 34 can.
  • Fig. 5 shows the tacker Fig. 2 after such a rotation of the head piece 4 relative to the pipe assembly 6 and the rest of the other tacking device 2.
  • a first fixing position of the head piece 4 according Fig. 2 has the head piece 4 in Fig. 5 a second fixing position, in which the head piece is aligned with respect to the pipe assembly 6 rotated by 90 °.
  • an alternative locking device 24 is shown. Matching elements are with corresponding reference numerals as in the Fig. 1 to 5 designated.
  • the alternative locking device 24 has on the collar 8 a screw receptacle 36 into which a locking screw 38 can be inserted.
  • a plurality of radially arranged bores 40 are arranged at the level of the screw holder 36 in this locking device 24.
  • the locking screw 38 can now be moved into one of the bores 40 through the screw receptacle 36 with its end remote from the screw head. In this way, the locking screw 38 blocks a rotation of the head piece 4 relative to the guide tube 12.
  • the locking screw 38 is removed from the bore 40 and screwed into one of the other holes 40 into it.
  • the alternative locking device 24 has four holes 40, which are each arranged at a distance of 90 ° about the drive-in shaft 14.
  • any other meaningful and suitable number and spacing of the holes 40 can be executed.
  • the holding device 44 has a pair of pliers arrangement with two jaws 46, each about an axis 48 are pivotable. Both jaws 46 are biased by a respective coil spring 50 in the closed position of the pliers arrangement. In the pivoting direction of the clamping jaws 46, the forceps arrangement has a cross-sectional length L which is significantly greater than a cross-sectional width B transverse thereto.
  • Such workpieces have a profile, such as a wave profile on.
  • profiles are often dimensioned so that the head piece 4 only in alignment of its cross-sectional length L in the profile direction, i. in alignment with its profile valleys or profile tips, fits between two adjacent profile tips. Consequently, it is only possible in this orientation of the head piece 4, drive the fastener 15 on a profile valley.
  • the operator has to change during installation of such a profiled workpiece from a mounting direction in the profile direction to a mounting direction transverse to the profile direction, he now has the option of the head piece 4 from a first fixing position by 90 ° relative to the rest of the tacker and the handle assembly in a second fixing position to twist.
  • the operator can align the head piece 4 even with changing mounting direction against a profile direction of the workpiece always so that the head piece 4 is always in the profile direction with its cross-sectional length L and thus only the narrower cross-sectional width must fit between the profile tips to a Profiletal to be able to drive a fastener 15.
