Electrical connecting terminal, in particular terminal block with a busbar made of a flat material, which has at least two plug connections for the releasable insertion of one inherently unsprung, stiff plug contact of a transverse jumper which electrically connects the busbars to adjacent terminals, wherein the plug connections are designed in the form of resilient plug sockets in such a way that the leg ends of a U-shaped leaf spring made as a separate component work together with their outwardly directed spring force with the inwardly directed contact contact surfaces of the busbar, characterized, that to form the plug connections in the busbar (4) there are square through openings (8) into which the leg ends (5.1) of the leaf spring (5) are immersed, and that the leg ends of the leaf spring are inserted from the underside of the busbar (4) into the square through openings (8) such that the leg ends extend in the opposite direction to the insertion direction of the plug contacts (9) of the cross-connector.    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Viereckform der Durchstecköffnungen seitliche Anschläge (10) aufweist, die den nach außen gerichteten maximalen Federweg der Schenkelenden der Blattfeder begrenzen, und daß der in Federwegrichtung freie Durchgang zwischen den seitlichen Begrenzungsanschlägen (10) gleich oder größer ist als die quer zur Federwegrichtung gemessene Breite der Brücker-Steckkontakte (9), deren in Federwegrichtung gemessene Tiefe größer ist als der Abstand der seitlichen Begrenzungsanschläge von der nach innen gerichteten Kontaktanlagefläche der Stromschiene.
