Description

The invention relates to an armored infantry vehicle with a vehicle chassis supported by a tracked chassis and a weapon station located on the roof of the vehicle housing, such as known from, for example DE 1 703 469 ,

The invention has for its object to design such an armored infantry so that different vehicle variants can be constructed with Missionsspezifischer equipment with the same vehicle body.

The solution of this object is achieved according to claim according to the invention in that the interior of the vehicle housing is divided into three areas, namely a front area in which the drive device and the driver's seat are arranged, a rear area in which the seats are arranged for the team, and a central area, which depending on the equipment of the vehicle for variable purposes, in particular for accommodating a tower platform and / or at least one place for operators of the weapon station and / or storage space for ammunition and ammunition supply devices, can be used, the entire vehicle constructed of individual modules, namely a basic module containing the vehicle housing, a chassis module and other modules that allow the construction of different equipment variants with different weights. In this case, a manned tower, in particular a tower with arranged in the central region of the interior of the vehicle housing tower platform, or an unmanned tower can optionally be placed on the same vehicle body.

A basic idea of the invention is basically to divide the interior of the vehicle housing into three areas, wherein two of these areas have the same function in all vehicle variants, in that the drive device and the driver's seat are arranged in the front area, while in the rear area the seats for the crew are provided. The third, middle area is then available for very different purposes.

Another basic idea of the invention is to construct the entire vehicle from individual modules. The weight fraction of the combat weight characterized by these equipment variants can amount to up to 50% of the total weight. This allows vehicle variants from the light infantry vehicle to heavily armored infantry fighting vehicle. This structure has the further advantage that by disassembling individual modules of the overall structure, the combat weight of the vehicle can be lowered so far that an air loading is possible, and a suitable track undercarriage, depending on Einsatzzwerk, can be integrated. In the following, exemplary embodiments of the infantry fighting vehicle according to the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

The Fig. 1 to 3 show an armored infantry vehicle with a vehicle housing 1, which is supported by a tracked chassis 2, and arranged on the roof of the vehicle housing tower 3 with a weapon. 4

The interior of the compact vehicle body 1 is divided into three areas. In a front region 1.1 1, a drive device 5 is arranged and a driver's seat 6. The drive device 5 can be constructed either as a diesel-electric drive or as a conventional motor / gear unit. In the rear area 1.2 of the interior of the vehicle housing 1, the seats 7 are arranged for the crew. The central region 1.3 of the interior is available for variable purposes depending on the equipment of the vehicle. In the embodiment according to Fig. 1 to 3 that too Fig. 5 and 7 is based, a manned tower 3 is placed on the vehicle housing 1, the tower platform 3.1 takes at least a portion of the central region 1.3 of the interior to complete. Two operator stations 8.1 and 8.2 are arranged in the tower.

The structure of the vehicle with the compact vehicle body 1 as a basic module also offers the possibility to provide a simple interface between the vehicle body 1 and the detachable suspension 2, so that possibly different design chassis are combined with the same vehicle body 1 can. This ensures that particularly heavy variants can be derived from the overall vehicle concept with changed requirements, in which the max. Ground pressure is not exceeded.

Furthermore, 1 different protection modules can be attached to and / or on the same vehicle body. This is in Fig. 4 shown. On the surface of the vehicle housing 1, in the areas of the front, side, rear and roof, a basic protection module 9.1, which may be constructed of several parts, can first be fastened. Furthermore, passive or reactive roof protection modules 9.2 can be fastened to the vehicle housing 1 including tower 3. At the bottom of the vehicle housing 1, a mine protection module 9.3 can be fastened. This mine protection module can also be integrated into the uncoupled chassis 2. So it is decoupled from the vehicle body. At the front of the vehicle housing 1 HL protection modules and / or KE protection modules 9.4 can be fastened. Likewise, on the sides of the vehicle housing 1 HL protection modules 9.5 and / or KE protection modules 9.6 be fastened.

All protection modules can in principle be constructed as single, undivided modules or as divided modules and they can be implemented in different technologies, namely passive, reactive, active / reactive.

The vehicle housing 1 is further designed so that different weapons concepts can be integrated. Thus, as already mentioned and for example also in Fig. 5 and 7 represented, a manned tower 3 are placed with at least one control station 8.11, for example, according to Fig. 7 the ammunition and ammunition feeder 10.1 below the Roof plate of the vehicle housing 1 in the area of the tower platform 3.1 are arranged.

Out Fig. 8 It can be seen that in a manned tower 3 "with at least one operator place 8.13 ammunition and ammunition feeder 10.2 can also be located above the tower platform 3.1" or the roof panel of the vehicle body 1 in the turret.

Furthermore, as in the Fig. 6 and 9 illustrated, designed as an unmanned turret 3 'weapon station on the vehicle housing 1 be placed with at least one operator space 8.12 in the interior of the vehicle housing, and the stowage of ammunition and ammunition feeder 10.3 can then be done above the roof panel of the vehicle body 1 directly to the weapon 4. Thus, depending on the armament concept, different operating concepts are possible by accommodating the operator (s) either in the tower or in the vehicle housing, for which purpose the central area 1.3 of the interior is provided in both cases.

Due to the modular design of the base armor explained above, different degrees of protection and vehicle weights can be represented. By adding individual protection modules, the level of protection of the vehicle can be increased. The vehicle will then have all-round protection against moderate threats.
