Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Ansteuerung eines Starters (1) für Verbrennungskraftmaschinen. Der Starter (1) umfaßt einen Einrückmagneten (3). Es werden Ansteuersignale (71, 72) für Starter (1) und Einrückmagnet (3) generiert. Nach Übermittlung eines Startwunsches (40) an einen Eingabefunktionsblock (50) werden dessen Ausgangssignale (54, 55) in einem Verarbeitungsblock (60) verarbeitet. Dieser umfaßt einen Diagnosefunktionsbaustein (61), eine Sicherheitsfunktion (62) gegen Überlastung des Starters (1) und eine Ablaufsteuerung (66). Es werden voneinander entkoppelte Ansteuersignale (71, 72) mittels eines Ausgabeblockes (70) erzeugt, welcher Leistungshalbleiterbauelemente (69) umfaßt, die vorwählbar getaktete Endstufen darstellen.
