Definitions
- the invention relates to a folding system, in particular a folding glass system mostly consisting of circumferential metal profiles, preferably as glass panes trained fillings receiving wings and a circumferential, mostly frames made of metal profiles for opening partitions or room closures in winter gardens, shop entrances, balcony glazing or the like, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- such folding systems have one or more pivoting and sliding wing chains on, which usually a larger front or Space can be opened almost completely. Every wing is in the wing chain the adjacent wings pivotally connected, but only on one side Guide rails slidably guided.
- the outer wings of a wing chain are either one-sided as opening wing without connection to one other adjacent wings are formed or usually pivotable on one side fixed to a side frame.
- the opening wing is on Single wing, it can be designed as a pure rotating wing, with the adjacent wing connected side is guided in the guide rails, while the free wing edge comes from through the guide rails and side frame formed level swings out.
- the opening leaf is part of a folding system of the generic type Double wing, a so-called pair wing, so it must on its free wing edge be guided in the guide rail.
- folding systems often have gaps over which drafts can occur. Even if this column is closed by flexible seals these areas still offer starting points for any intrusion tools and are therefore weak points in terms of security against break-ins.
- gaps or any seals used stand out visually the sash frame and the surrounding frame of the folding system and affect so the overall look of the folding system.
- the invention is therefore concerned with the problem of remedying this and an improved especially with regard to optics and burglar resistance Specify design.
- this problem is solved by a folding system with the features of claim 1 solved.
- the bevel 17 of the last profile can preferably be designed such that they start with a from the pivot axis of the guide element Radius is rounded. This results in a smooth transition to the flat area of the opening wing and there will be maximum gap coverage reached with the guide rail stop without risk of collision.
- FIG. 1a a four-wing folding system with two pairs of wings is shown.
- the Opening this system is illustrated in the manner of a pictogram in FIGS. 1b to e.
- the free wing edges 3 of the opening wing 1 always remain in between the guide rails, not shown, shown in dashed lines Level 4.
- Fig. 2 shows the lower middle area of the contiguity of the two free edges 3 of the opening wing 1 formed pair of wing of the folding system in exterior view. From the viewer position in FIG. 2, this system opens from Viewer away inside.
- the opening sash 1 consist of the sash frame 5 mounted double glass panes 7.
- the wings are in above and below Guide rails 8 slidably guided.
- the guide rail 8 has according to the invention on the outside a stop that cannot be passed by the wings 18 on. Nevertheless, the opening wings 1 have strip profiles 16, which are designed according to the invention beveled towards the free wing edge 3.
- FIGS. 3 ff. remove show the sequence of the opening process of the folding system in section, the opening sashes 1 each about pivot axes 11 pivot their guide elements 10.
- the opening sashes 1 each about pivot axes 11 pivot their guide elements 10.
- For reducing the gap or Cover have the opening wing 1 on the stop 18 facing Side of the free wing edge 3 by the width B1 or B2 about the pivot axis 11 of the guide element 10 protruding ledge profiles 16.
- These are bevelled to the free wing edge 3 on the side facing the stop 18, in order not to collide with the stop 18 when opening (see FIGS. 4 to 6).
- This bevel 17 is preferably as shown by a rounding formed, which extends with the radius R around the pivot axis 11.
- the strip profile 16 can also be made in one piece with the free wing edge 3 be trained.
- the folding system shown is achieved by the arrangement of its guide elements 10 according to their greatest width not in the fully closed state Fig. 3, but in the slightly open state shown in FIG. 4 when all the guide elements 10 are in a line.
- the wing chain therefore wider at first, before there is an actual opening.
- This widening when opening is called the negative travel path because the First of all, the travel path starts against the actual opening direction.
- the strip profiles 16 are able to compensate for this negative travel path the system shown with their widths B1 and B2 designed so that they do not completely cover the gap between the two opening wings 1, but leave a free space 20, the movement of the previously closed Opening wing 1 in the direction of its free wing edge 3 allows.
- a flexible seal 24 may be provided.
- Maintaining tensile tightness and optics preferably has at least one Last profile 16 in the clear opening height between the stop 18 and opposite guide rail, not shown, or - if available a second stop - an aperture 19. At least this covers partially the bevel 17 or rounding of the strip profile 16, as in 2 and 3 shown. If so as in the illustrated embodiment abut two opening wings 1, it is advantageous to cover 19 only to be provided on one of the opening wings 1 and so wide that it also overlaps the strip profile 16 of the adjacent opening leaf 1.
- the Cover strip 19 can also be made in one piece with the strip profile 16 to which it is fixed is, be trained. To further increase the tightness, the Cover strip 19 as shown, a brush seal 26, sealing lip or the like.
- the folding system according to the invention is characterized by a high level of security against break-ins, good tightness and uniform, attractive appearance with optimal technical function.
