  11. The refuse receptacle according to claim 9 or 10, characterized in that blind holes (34) are arranged in a horizontal rib (32n) extending horizontally outwards from the bushing (30) and also in the two ribs (35) running vertically at either side of the bushing.
  12. The refuse receptacle according to claim 11, characterized in that blind holes (34) for screwing to the body are formed from the open side at the thickened points where the radial vertical and horizontal ribs (32a, b) meet the peripheral edge (33) and/or the vertical ribs (35).
  13. The refuse receptacle according to claim 9 or 10, characterized in that the central radial vertical rib (32b) on the longitudinal central plane does not extend beyond the uppermost radial horizontal rib (32p).
  14. The refuse receptacle according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that there is provided in the upper region (29a) a receiving space (38) for receiving a profile (37) or flat material (36) - then with a horizontal cross-section - which extends over preferably the entire length of the upper region, said receiving space running in the direction of extension of the upper region, that is to say horizontally in the mounted state.
  15. The refuse receptacle according to claim 14, characterized in that the receiving space (38) is open towards the open rear side of the trunnion unit (29).
  16. The refuse receptacle according to claim 14 or 15, characterized in that the receiving space (38) is accessible only at the end face on one of the end faces of the upper region (29a).
  17. The refuse receptacle according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that an angle profile (37') is placed between the upper edge of the trunnion unit (29) and the edge (7) of the side wall (25) that engages around it.
  18. The refuse receptacle according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that, as seen in cross-section, the outer wall (40) of the trunnion unit (29) has in the upper region at least one crank (41) so that one limb of the crank can be pressed against the free downwardly pointing end of the edge (7) over the entire width.
  19. A method for mounting a trunnion unit (29), which laterally supports a trunnion (28), on a refuse receptacle body (1) having an outwardly protruding and downwardly cranked edge (7) in order to form a refuse receptacle according to any of the preceding claims 14 to 18, wherein the trunnion unit (29), as seen in plan view of the trunnion unit (29), has a much greater width in the upper region (29a) engaging below the edge (7) than in the lower region (29b) at the level of the trunnion (28), wherein the lower region (29b) has a central bushing (30) that forms the trunnion (28), and wherein arranged in the bowl-shaped interior of the trunnion unit (29) are ribs (32a, b, c ...) which are perpendicular to the main plane thereof and which extend outwards radially from the central bushing (30), characterized in that the method comprises the following steps:
    - inserting a metal tube (31) into the bushing (30) of the trunnion unit (29),
    - optionally putting in place a flat material (36) or profile (37),
    - pushing the trunnion unit (29) from below underneath the edge (7) of the body (1) and pressing it upwards to the point of abutment,
    - screwing the trunnion unit (29) from an inner side of the body (1), in particular by means of self-tapping screws (43) or, as an alternative to introducing the flat material (36) or profile (37) into the trunnion unit (29), an angle profile (37') is placed between the trunnion unit (29) and the edge (7) as the trunnion unit (29) is being pushed in.
