Description

The invention relates to a drill head, in particular for insertion into Pipelines, with a rear connection piece and a front one diameter-larger cutting body, which is in the direction of advance has extending cutting ribs, the cutting ribs being convex are and at their radial end in the circumferential direction on both sides one Have cutting edge.

Drilling heads of this type are used, for example, for drilling out deposits used in piping. To do this, the drill heads are surrounded by a spiral, a shaft or, alternatively, a flush-driven drilling motor in Rotation offset and advanced in the axial direction.

Such a drill head is known from DE 2806725 C2. The known Drill head has machined in the body of the cutting body Cross slots, in each of the two blades drilling blades inserted are. The elongated shape, which is only one, has a disadvantage limited cornering enabled. In addition, the drill head experiences only a slight guidance over those running parallel to the direction of advance Edges of the four drilling blades, so that there is one with strong incrustations Holding the drill head and damage at high driving forces the inner pipe wall can come.

Weiterhin nachteilig ist die geringe Führung des Schaberkopfes über ein Schaberblatt, welches beidseitig über den Umfang des Schaberkörpers hervorragt und stets an zwei Berühungspunkten an der Rohrwandung anliegt.DE-PS 940460 discloses a method and an apparatus for Clean straight pipe sections from water pipes with one of one rigid rod carried scraper that inserted into the pipeline and is constantly pushed forward while rotating with the water flowing. Due to the rigid feed rod, the known scraper is not negotiate curves. Another disadvantage is the poor guidance of the doctor head via a scraper blade, which extends over the circumference of the scraper body on both sides protrudes and always abuts the pipe wall at two points of contact.

Another state of the art is FR 2 303 650 A1, in which a Twist drill with a spherical head and a shank is described the spherical head being both cutting edges and one Centering tip has. The protected twist drill has the Disadvantage of an elongated, inflexible shape, so that a pipe-conserving use is not possible with bent drilling lines.

The next prior art is disclosed in US Pat. No. 1,296,078 A Chisel for hard rock with one interchangeable cutting edge and one Connector to a boring bar is claimed. Here the rear includes Connector a tongue-shaped recess and the interchangeable Cut a complementary projection, the Recess and the projection in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the chisel are inclined and rejuvenate. This ensures that the Drilling process pressed the cutting edge in the direction of the taper and thus is fixed. You can use a hammer, for example, to loosen the cutting edge be hit on the cutting edge against the direction of taper, so that the cutting edge comes loose and can be replaced.

In Figures 1 to 7 of the aforementioned document is a drill head shown, which also has a rear connector and a front Has larger diameter cutting body, as best shown in FIG 7 can be seen. The cutting body is in the direction of advance extending cutting ribs that, if only slightly, convex are trained. It also undercuts the Cutting edges disclosed at their radial end. The one described above However, the drill head is also not for cleaning that protects the pipe wall, especially bent pipes, suitable,

It is therefore the object of the present invention a drill head To provide an optimized cutting progress with a possible gentle processing of the inner pipe wall, including curved pipes allows.

This task is solved with a drill head in which the cutting body has a conical drill head tip, which in a longitudinal axis Y recessed undercut tips surrounding the cutting ribs is. Due to the convexly rounded cutting ribs, the pipe wall significantly less stress than with existing systems because the drill head with increased propulsive forces, e.g. by bending the Pipeline and / or deposits reducing the pipe diameter, can position itself and fixed with a pendulum movement moved in the direction of advance by the conical drill head tip. A increased surface pressure by tilting the drill head on the This avoids the inside of the pipe. The two sides of the cutting ribs located cutting edges enable effective use independently from the sense of rotation. The undercut of the cutting edges enables them to be released also solid deposits, since the deposits are subjected to tension. The tensile strength, especially mineral deposits, lies Many times less than compressive or shear strength.

Due to the design of the drill head described above the drilling head tilts to one side as the contact pressure increases, whereby the tips of the cutting ribs engage the deposit come and remove this. In addition, cut due to the conical design of the drill head tip the undercut tips the cutting ribs invert and thus reduce the risk of Pipe damage.

The drill head advantageously has a tapering point in the direction of advance Cutting ribs on.

In a preferred embodiment, the cutting body has a conical drill head tip. The conical drill head tip can protrude from the tips of the cutting ribs. This has the advantage that the boring head hits a cone-shaped deposit Drill head tip is fixed. A favorable geometry of the conical Drill head tip is at a flank angle of 40-50 °, in particular of 45 °.

The cutting ribs are advantageously equidistant in the circumferential direction arranged. This ensures smooth running even at high speeds achieved.

In a favorable embodiment is between the cutting ribs a recess is round in cross section. This Cross-sectional geometry of the recess is one possibility To design cutting ribs with an undercut.

In a preferred embodiment, the connector and the Cutting body formed in one piece. The massive embodiment of the Drill head reduces the vibration in the cutting ribs and increases the Lifespan.

In an advantageous embodiment, the recess in the Milled cutting body. This enables an inexpensive machine Mass production with small manufacturing tolerances.

The axes of the recesses advantageously meet in one Intersection in front of the drill head. The one converging in the direction of advance Axes of the recesses ensure that the Cuttings, which increases the drilling progress and the wear of the Drill head is reduced.

In a favorable embodiment, the total length L of the drill head is in Relationship to the outer diameter D ≤ 1.2. The compact design with an outer diameter that corresponds approximately to the length of the drill head, favors the cornering of the drill head.

A preferred embodiment has in the cylindrical connector in the Longitudinal axis of the drill head on a T-shaped recess. additionally can in the transition from the cylindrical connector to the cutting body two bores can be formed in the radial direction. These configurations are used to attach the drill head to a spiral, a shaft or a flush-driven drill motor.
