The invention relates to a flail assembly for rotary shredders with a to a Axis rotatably mounted body and a cutting body, which on a Projection of the body is releasably attached. Such flails are called Impact tool for shredders, for example, for plastic, wood or the like used.

Stand der TechnikState of the art

From DE 35 45 708 C2, a flail assembly is known in which a tooth trained cutting body with a shaft interchangeable in a recess is attached. The attachment takes place by means of a screw, which through a bore in the Base body and protrudes through the shaft of the cutter body. The shaft is at the end with a projecting corner which engages behind a projection in the recess. Furthermore, the shaft is provided with a profile which is in a complementary profile in the recess protrudes. As a result, the tooth is in its position even with strong forces held. Usually, the flail tip is worn down so that an edge forms along the rotational movement of the flail. Due to the complex shape of the described Schlegelanordnung it is expensive to produce.

From DE-OS 29 43 456 a device for crushing barks and Annual plants known. The device includes a rotor body, near it Scope Schlegel are arranged pivotally. Each mallet consists of one Base body which is pivotally mounted on one end of the rotor body and out a cutting body, which at the front surface in the circumferential direction of the Schlegelels is appropriate. These cutting bodies are interchangeable with the respective flail fastened since they are subject to rapid wear during operation of the device and can thus be replaced without replacement of the entire Schlegel would be required.

In both arrangements comparatively much material, namely the entire Cutting body, unusable when the flail tip is replaced.

From US-A-5 285 974 is another flail for shredders according to the preamble of claim 1.

Offenbarung der ErfindungDisclosure of the invention

It is an object of the invention, a flail assembly with an easily replaceable To provide cutting body in which as little material is consumed. It is Another object of the invention to provide a flail assembly which is simple is to produce. It is also an object of the invention to provide a flail assembly good power to create the body.

According to the invention, the objects are achieved by a Schlegelanordnung according to the features of Claim 1 solved. This will ensure optimal power transmission achieved by positive engagement. The material to be crushed usually exerts strong forces in different directions on the cutting body and over the cutting body also on the main body of the flail arrangement. Through the power transmission through Positive locking can not only forces perpendicular to the direction of movement of the Cutting body, but also all other forces acting on the cutting material on the Schlegel be included. There is no excessive burden on Fasteners such as screws or the like.

The profile on the base body corresponds to a profile on the cutting body, for example a Recess. As a result, the cutting body has less volume with accordingly lower material consumption.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the profile has the shape of a projecting truncated pyramid whose base in the plane of the front Surface of the projection is located. This shape is easy to manufacture and reduces Material consumption in a suitable manner. By the number of pages of the The truncated pyramid determines the number of positions in which the Cutting body can be attached. This eliminates an adjustment situation of the Cutting edge.

Preferably, the cutting body has two cutting edges mirror-symmetrical to one Surface on, which runs tangentially to a rotation extent. But there can be more Cutting edges be provided. For a four-sided truncated pyramid are also four Cutting edges possible. If the truncated pyramid has more sides, so can the Number of cutting edges are increased accordingly. By this configuration can the cutting body can be used several times. The cutting body must after wear only detached and rotated by an angle given by the geometry and be fastened again. This will reduce material usage and time spent lowered further.

In a further embodiment of the invention, the cutting body by means of a Bolt, which runs centrally through the cutting body and through the profile, bolted. But it is also any other type of attachment conceivable, especially since the lateral Forces are no longer absorbed by the screw but by the profile. Of the Base body preferably has at the rear in the circumferential direction of the surface Projection on a recess in which a nut for the screw is retractable. This reduces stress and damage to the nut. In addition, will shortens the required screw length. Furthermore, the cutting body on the in Circumferential direction front surface have a recess in which the screw head the screw is at least partially retractable. This will be a lesser Load and damage the screw head causes.

For an optimal cutting effect with little damage and wear of the To reach the body is the axis of rotation away from the axis of the surface Cutting body preferably bevelled. This aligns with the beveled achsfemen surface of the body when the cutting body to the body is attached. As a result, the wear of the body is minimized.

The cutting edge of the cutting body is preferably hardened for a long time To ensure lifetime.

Embodiments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims. One Embodiment is described below with reference to the accompanying drawings explained.

Beschreibung eines AusführungsbeispielsDescription of an embodiment

In Fig. 1, 10 denotes a rotor blade. The rotor blade 10 includes a Base 12 and a screwed with a screw 14 cutting body 16, the forming the flail tip. The main body 12 consists of a hollow cylinder 18, the order an axle 20 is rotatably mounted. On the hollow cylinder, a projection 22 is formed.

The projection 22 is formed substantially step-shaped, wherein the "stage" a Surface 24, on which the cutting body 16 rests. The area 24 shows in Direction of the rotational movement, which is represented by an arrow 26 in Figure 1. she thus forms the front surface of the base body 12. The cutting body 16 is located positively on the base body 12. By the step-shaped arrangement is the cutting body 16 surrounded by two sides of the body 12 and forms with him a unit in which no cutting material can penetrate.

The cutting body 16 has a uniform over its entire width trapezoidal cross section. The smaller parallel surface of the trapezoid forms the rear side of the cutting body 16, which on the front surface 24 of the Base 12 rests. The front part 28 of the cutting body 16 is hardened. This delays the wear of the cutting surfaces. The cutting body can also of two parts, a hardened front part and a non-hardened back part, which are interconnected exist.

The front part 28 of the cutting body comprises two cutting edges 30 and 32, the on opposite sides of the cutter body are arranged parallel to each other. In other embodiments are four cutting edges on each side of the Cutting body arranged at an angle of about 90 degrees to each other. The Cutting edges 30 and 32 project slightly forward. Accordingly, the runs Surface 34 and 36 at an angle slightly obliquely to the edges. Thereby an optimal cutting effect is achieved. To achieve good stability the middle part 38 of the front surface extends between the cutting edges 30 and 32 straight, i. parallel to the rear surface of the cutter body. The sharp angle the trapezium in cross-section is slightly blunted at its end 40 and 42. This is in 3 again shown.

The rear surface of the base body 12, and its achsfeme surface 44th are not exactly exactly. As a result, the resistance to the material to be cut is something lower. The off-axis surface 44 extends such that they are free of edges on the Side surface 46 of the cutter body 16 connects.

One recognizes at the Front surface 24 of the base 12 an integrally formed profile 50 in the form of a Truncated pyramid. In the truncated pyramid 50 is a bore 52 for the screw 14 provided. The sides 54 are at an angle of 90 degrees to each other and two sides have edges which are parallel to the cutting edges 30, 32 (Fig.3).

The cutting body 16 has on its rear side a recess which is complementary to the profile 50. By this arrangement, the cutting body 16 only screwed in four different layers to the base body or otherwise on it be attached. An adjustment is not required. In the present case, the Cutting body 16 each placed so that one of the two cutting edges 30, 32nd runs parallel to the axis of rotation 20 of the Schlegelels. Is the cutting edge through Wear has become dull, the screw 14 is released, the cutting body by 180 Degree turned and fastened with the screw 14 again. Then there is a "fresh" Cutting edge in place of the previous one. Be cutting edges on each side of the Cutting body 16 provided so the cutting body can be used four times instead of twice become. If more cutting edges are to be provided, the number the sides of the truncated pyramid 50 are increased.

On the rear side of the base body 12, a recess 60 is provided. The screw 14 protrudes through a bore 62 in the cutting body 16 and the bore 52 in the main body. In the recess 60 is a matching nut 64 for the screw 14th arranged. As a result, the holes 52 and 62 do not need to be threaded be provided, which of course is also possible. Due to the protected location of Screw head and nut these are not or only slightly by the cut material impaired.
