Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kühlsystem (1) eines Kraftfahrzeuges, mit im wesentlichen einem mit einem Verbrennungsmotor (5) und einem Ausgleichsbehälter (6) leitungsmäßig in Verbindung stehenden Kühlmodul (Kühlmittelkühler) (2). Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen gegebenenfalls auftretenden Wärmeverlust am Verbrennungsmotor beispielsweise bei dessen Schwachlastbetrieb oder bei Betrieb einer Kraftfahrzeugheizung zu verhindern. Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, dass das Kühlmodul (Kühlmittelkühler) (2) in seinem unteren Bereich einen Wasserkasten (17) mit einem den Verbrennungsmotor (5) mittelbar mit Kühlmittel versorgenden Kühleraustritt (4) aufweist, wobei zusätzliches, dem Verbrennungsmotor (5) mittelbar zuführbares Kühlmittel von einem Ausgleichsbehälter (6) und/oder einem Heizungswärmetauscher (7) über wenigstens eine Zulaufleitung (11, 12) zuleitbar ist, welche durch den Wasserkasten (17) hindurchverlegt in dessen Kühleraustritt (4) einmündet. The invention relates to a cooling system (1) for a motor vehicle, with a cooling module (coolant cooler) (2) that is essentially connected in line with an internal combustion engine (5) and an expansion tank (6). The invention is based on the object of preventing any heat loss that may occur on the internal combustion engine, for example during low-load operation or when operating a motor vehicle heater. This object is achieved according to the invention in that the cooling module (coolant cooler) (2) has in its lower area a water tank (17) with a cooler outlet (4) which indirectly supplies the internal combustion engine (5) with coolant, additional, the internal combustion engine (5) indirectly supplyable coolant can be supplied from an expansion tank (6) and / or a heating heat exchanger (7) via at least one inlet line (11, 12) which, laid through the water tank (17), opens into the radiator outlet (4).
