Claims (11)

  1. Refuse receptacle (1) with a basic body (2) and an upper part (4) which covers the basic body (2) towards the top and has an insertion opening (6) which receives a swinging lid (5) which automatically takes up the closed position, characterized in that upper part (4) and swinging lid (5) comprise at a predetermined distance from the pivoting axis (20) of the swinging lid (5) one and respectively the other of magnetic means (21, 23 and 22, 24) assigned to one another in pairs which lie opposite one another attracting one another in the closed position of the swinging lid (5).

  4. Refuse receptacle (1) according to Claim 2 or 3, characterized in that the magnetic means (21, 23 and 22, 24) are provided doubly related to a vertical plane of symmetry.
