Description

Stand der TechnikState of the art

Handwerkzeugmaschine. The invention is based on a battery-powered power tool such as angle grinder, straight grinder, fine saw od. Like. Hand tool.

There are power tools with about rod-shaped machine housing or housing part known in which the accumulator package is mounted replaceable at the end of the end part, that the accumulator package in the direction of the longitudinal axis, the housing extending, connects to the latter. This makes the case longer than comparable hand held power tool hand tools. This is not only disadvantageous from an aesthetic point of view. Rather, the handiness of the Power tool due to the weight of the subsequently placed subsequently Akkumulatorpakets impaired. In addition, the accumulator package proves to be annoying when working in confined situations sometimes.

It is a battery-powered power tool of the aforementioned type known ( WO 99/49553 A1 ), in which the accumulator packet can be brought into abutment with a substantially planar connection part on a corresponding connection surface at the end of the end part. This connection surface is part of a receptacle adapted to the accumulator package. This recording with connection surface extends within such a plane, which is directed obliquely with respect to a plane oriented approximately at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the housing part. The accumulator package thus runs obliquely with respect to the housing part. The electrical switch is arranged in the interior of the end part in the region between the drive motor and the accumulator package. He needed a lot of space seen in the longitudinal direction of the end part. The power tool has a relatively large length and is unwieldy.

Out US-5,664,634-A a power tool is known in which a housing part is rectilinear, which contains the electric drive motor and its transmission. In this rectilinear housing part and serving for actuating the drive motor electrical switch is arranged. At the rectilinear housing part is also a geraliniger housing part, which is bent, to, in the end of a housing with battery pack contained therein is inserted.

Out U.S. 4,976,173-A a battery-powered power tool is known, the housing is divided into a drive motor-containing housing part and serving as a handle, bent housing part that receives replaceable batteries for power. This housing part is kink adjustable with respect to the first-mentioned housing part.

The invention is based on the object, in a battery-powered power tool of the type mentioned in the total length despite the To keep battery packs as low as possible and to realize a shorter, more manageable design. This object is achieved in a battery-powered power tool of the type mentioned according to the invention by the features in claim 1. This ensures that the battery pack fits harmoniously into the overall appearance of the power tool and so creates a harmonious overall impression. Furthermore, it is possible to keep the total length of the power tool as small as possible despite the accumulator package and to realize a shorter, more manageable design, wherein an approximately rod-shaped power tool is less tail-heavy. Since the existing space below the neck of the battery pack space for the arrangement of the switch of the power tool is used, thereby an even shorter, handier design can be made possible.
A further advantage is that due to the bent arrangement of the battery pack this is no longer hindering in many cases when working or is disturbing in any other way. This applies z. As for angle grinder, where it is achieved that the accumulator does not protrude beyond the plane of the grinding wheel. Another advantage is that due to the inclination of the battery pack is effectively prevented that the user, the power tool, for. B. in the form of an angle grinder, still turned on or after switching off with expiring tool, z. As grinding wheel, turns off on the accumulator package, which would otherwise mean significant risk of injury when falling of the power tool with running tool.

The measures listed in the further claims advantageous refinements and improvements of the claim 1 electric tool are possible.

If such a selected in the range according to claim 2 for the Abknickwinkel of the battery pack, can be increased at a larger Abknickwinkel the advantages mentioned above. By the features in the Claims 3 to 5, the design of the power tool can be made even shorter and more manageable with further reduction of Hecklasfigkeit.

By the measure according to claim 6, the battery pack can be brought by the user in an optimal for each case of work pivot position. By pivoting the end part of this can thus be placed with the accumulator package in such positions that no obstruction or malfunction when working, even in confined areas, is given.

Beschreibung der AusführungsbeispieleDescription of the embodiments

In Fig. 1 and 2 a part of a power tool 10 is shown, which consists of an angle grinder, a straight grinder, a fine saw or the like. The power tool 10 has a machine housing 11 with an elongated, approximately rod-shaped housing part 12, in which an electric drive motor 13 is included. The drive motor 13 is battery-powered, namely from a battery pack 14, the in Fig. 1 and 2 only schematically shown in side view and basically known. The accumulator package 14 includes in a known manner at least one accumulator cell, not shown, and is replaceable attachable to the power tool 10. The approximately rod-shaped housing part 12 has an end portion 15 which in the first embodiment in Fig. 1 integral part of the housing part 12 is. This end portion 15 has an end face 16 with insertion receptacle 17 for the accumulator package 14, which in turn is provided in the usual way with a socket-like connection part 18, which for abutment against the connection surface 16 has a contact surface 19 assigned to the latter and furthermore an insertion part 20 which is in the plug-in receptacle 17 engages or in any other way can be brought into positive engagement with the simultaneous production of the respective electrical connections. In that regard, the design of the in Fig. 1 shown power tool 10 known per se.

The peculiarity of the electric tool 10 is that the end-side connection surface 16 of the end portion 15 extends within such a plane 21 which is inclined at an angle α to a plane 22 which extends approximately at right angles with respect to the longitudinal axis 23 of the housing part 12 and in Fig. 1 is indicated schematically. The angle α is in the range of about 10 ° to 45 °. In this way, the end portion 15 is thus bent out of the longitudinal extension direction to one side with respect to the housing part 12 The transverse dimension of the end portion 15 takes - compared to the transverse dimension of the approximately rod-shaped housing part 12 - to the end-side connection surface 16 by enlarging the interior space 24 in End part 15, because the pad 16 and the contact surface 19 are greater than the cross section of the housing part 12. The accumulator package 14 has in a known manner with its male part 20 approximately L-shape. In the interior 24 of the end portion 15, an electrical switch 25 is disposed in the L-region of the battery pack 14, the side of the Plug 20 is placed. By this arrangement of the switch 25, which is otherwise disposed between the drive motor and the battery pack, a shorter design of the power tool 10 is achieved. Due to the inclination of the battery pack 14 is achieved that in Fig. 1 and 2 bottom end of the battery pack 14 is not or at least not so far that it would interfere with the machine housing 11 protrudes. It is still a space z. B. kept free for the switch 25. How out Fig. 1 it can be seen, the accumulator package 14 in the manner described on the machine housing 11, in particular on the rod-shaped housing part 12, arranged that results in a harmonious overall impression and the accumulator package 14 integrates harmoniously into the overall appearance of the power tool 10. A further advantage is that the power tool 10 has the smallest possible overall length and results in a shorter, more manageable design compared to such battery-powered power tools, in which instead the battery pack in extension of the rod-shaped housing part 12 is attached to the rear. Furthermore, it is advantageously achieved that the power tool 10 has a more favorable weight distribution and is less rear-heavy. The manageability of the power tool 10 is improved. It is also advantageous that due to the bent arrangement of the accumulator 14 this is less disturbing in the way when working in confined areas. This applies in particular to angle grinders, in which it is achieved that the accumulator package 14 does not protrude beyond the plane of the grinding wheel. The user of the power tool 10 can align this in use so that the battery pack 14 is not hindering or interfering with the work, the user can find an optimal position for him during handling. Another advantage is that due to the inclination of the battery pack 14 is effectively prevented that the user, the power tool 10, z. B. in the form of an angle grinder, still turned on or after switching off with expiring tool, z. B. grinding wheel, on the accumulator package 14 turns off, what else when falling over of the power tool 10 with running tool would mean considerable risk of injury.

At the in Fig. 2 shown second embodiment of the power tool 10 are the same reference numerals used for the parts that correspond to the first embodiment, so that reference is made to avoid repetition of the description of the first embodiment.

The pivotable end portion 15 'is on both sides according to arrow 27 pivotable about the axis 26 and in different, each occupied pivotal positions, by means of a manually operable or automatically acting locking device 28 between the pivotal end portion 15' on the one hand and the housing part 12th `on the other hand. The locking device 28 is in Fig. 2 only indicated schematically. It consists z. B. from a schematically indicated clamping screw 29 and / or positively and / or non-positively acting coupling 30, z. B. realized by toothed disks od. Like .. In Fig. 2 is only dashed lines such a coupling 30 indicated. It is understood that for the locking device 28, the most diverse forms of design according to the invention come into consideration. Due to the pivoting of the end portion 15 thus the accumulator package 14 in any position z. B. between two end positions and detectable in the respective produced pivot position. This allows the user via the end portion 15 'bring the accumulator package 14 in an optimal position for each case of work in which the accumulator 14 is not disturbing while working in the way.
