Claims (8)

  1. Fer à repasser à vapeur à usage domestique comportant une base (1, 2) qui est formée par une semelle (1), qui entre en contact avec le linge à repasser, et par un premier élément chauffant (2), qui chauffe la semelle (1) moyennant la commande d'un thermostat (3) régulant la température de repassage, et comportant un groupe générateur de vapeur (4) qui est indépendant de l'unité de base (1-2) formée par la semelle (1), l'élément chauffant (2) et le thermostat (3), et qui est formé par une chambre de vaporisation (5) qui comporte un tube d'alimentation en eau (6), qui est relié à un réservoir d'eau du fer à repasser, la chambre de vaporisation (5) étant munie de sa propre résistance chauffante (7), qui comporte son propre thermostat (8) qui régule la température dans ladite chambre de vaporisation (5), caractérisé en ce que le réservoir d'eau du fer à repasser à vapeur est relié à l'entrée de la chambre de vaporisation (5) par l'intermédiaire d'une pompe électrique qui peut être actionnée par un micro-interrupteur qui, dans sa position active, shunte les bornes du thermostat (8) relié à la résistance chauffante (7) par un montage en série, en ce que la chambre de vaporisation (5) comporte un thermostat auxiliaire (12) qui est monté électriquement en série avec ledit thermostat (8) de la résistance chauffante (7) de la chambre de vaporisation (5) et en amont de la résistance chauffante (7) proprement dite.
  2. Fer à repasser à vapeur à usage domestique selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le thermostat auxiliaire (12) comporte une température de déconnexion qui est supérieure à celle du thermostat (8) et inférieure à la température de fusion d'un fusible (13) thermique qui est agencé dans la chambre de vaporisation (5).
  3. Fer à repasser à vapeur à usage domestique selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que le thermostat (8) et le thermostat auxiliaire (12) sont regroupés dans un élément thermostatique électronique (20) qui est intégré dans la chambre de vaporisation (5).
  4. Fer à repasser à vapeur à usage domestique selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que, entre le groupe générateur de vapeur (4) indépendant et la base (1-2) du fer à repasser, il est prévu une isolation thermique au moyen d'un matériau thermo-isolant physique ou d'une séparation mécanique.
  5. Fer à repasser à vapeur à usage domestique selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le tube d'alimentation en eau (6), qui part du réservoir d'eau du fer à repasser, est couplé à un orifice d'entrée (14) réalisé dans la partie centrale supérieure de la chambre de vaporisation (5).
  6. Fer à repasser à vapeur à usage domestique selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le groupe générateur de vapeur (4) et la semelle (1) sont intégrés dans un seul corps (15) d'un seul tenant, dans lequel le groupe générateur de vapeur (4) est séparé physiquement de la semelle (1) par un système d'isolation inférieur (16) et un système d'isolation latéral (17), le groupe générateur de vapeur (4) et la semelle (1) étant reliés mécaniquement l'un à l'autre uniquement par l'intermédiaire d'une cloison (18) qui est agencée au niveau de l'extrémité avant du groupe générateur de vapeur (4).
  7. Fer à repasser à vapeur à usage domestique selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que la cloison (18) est traversée par un trou débouchant (19), dans lequel sont regroupées la sortie de vapeur (9) du groupe générateur de vapeur (4) et la sortie de vapeur (10) de la semelle (1).
