Abstract

The invention relates to a water fitting comprising a pipe (1) having at least one water hook-up (3) that is connected to a valve (5). A housing (15) is detachably connected to the pipe (1) and has a spout line (17) that, when installed, is connected to the outlet of the valve (5). A screw (16) secures the housing (15) on the pipe (1). A sensing device (9) is fitted inside the pipe. When the screw (16) is removed, said sensing device automatically closes the valve (5) and blocks the same in the closed position.
