Abstract
The invention relates to a method for cleaning pneumatic conveying lines (2) with a bypass pig (1), which is moved longitudinally by compressed air in the conveying line (2) and with its cleaning tools (18) arranged on the outer circumference the inner wall of the conveying line ( 2), wherein the compressed air flows through the openings (14,15) arranged in the longitudinal direction through the pig (1) and exits the pig (1) in the direction of movement to the front, thereby removing solids (eg a granulate (32)) from the tube wall and takes along. In order to achieve a good cleaning effect even in granules (32) filled delivery lines (2), it is provided that the ratio of pig speed to conveying air velocity c / v is less than 1, and that the conveying air velocity is suitable that granules (32) in the Art to move a flight promotion.
