Numerous examples of connection elements are known from plumbing of this type.

An outer tube is intended to accommodate one of its ends a housing for receiving a block comprising a body for receiving a water meter assembly and a check valve. The body is made in two parts. A part has a first pipe that has a first port of connection, and the other part has a second pipe that has a second connection port. Every pipe is articulated with respect to the block around at least a second axial direction secant to the general direction of the block. In particular, each pipe has a hinge section which penetrates in a rotating manner into a hinge section of each part associated with the block. For this purpose, each section each pipe has a flange, one of which transverse face is in plane support on a face of a collar articulation section of the associated part. The collar has a cylindrical scope that is received in a scope cylindrical projecting from the transverse face of the flange of the associated block portion, and staves cylindrical are immobilized externally by a ring of independent maintenance.

Rotation guidance at the block connection and of each free end is thus ensured by the rotation of tubular free ends in each part too tubular, these being held externally by the ring keeping.

The two pipes are arranged at the same end of the water meter and stopcock system, and so are very close to each other this system being intended to serve of water meter being interposed in a facility already existing.

In the following description, reference numerals identical designates identical or functional parts Similar.

In a known manner, the tubular free end 14 is example tapped internally so as to allow the screwing a conventional threaded conduit into plumbing.

In a similar manner, the tubular free end 18 is for example threaded externally so as to allow its screwing in a conventional threaded duct in plumbing.

By way of example and without limitation, the invention, the first orifice 16 is for example a conduit of water outlet and the second conduit 20 is for example a conduit water supply. The first tubular free end 14 is example bent at a right angle so as to allow the connecting the first port to the back of a sanitary element such than a urinal.

In known manner, a valve 22 is interposed in the tubular body 12 between the first and second ports 16, 18 of connection.

In the preferred embodiment of the invention, and non-limiting way thereof, the valve 22 is for example consisting of an all-or-nothing solenoid valve, in particular a conventional solenoid valve including an internal drawer (no shown) is actuated by a solenoid whose opening is controlled by an electronic module associated with a sensor optical (not shown). The electronic module is powered by battery or by sector.

According to the invention, the connecting element 10 of plumbing comprises a tubular section 24 articulated relative to at the body 12 around at least a second axial direction B secante at the first general direction A of the body 12, whose the free end forms the second free end 18 of the element 12 of connection, to allow the connection of the second orifice 20 following at least one direction C different from the direction axial A general of the body 12.

Le tronçon tubulaire 24 permet donc le raccordement du second orifice 20 perpendiculairement à la direction axiale A générale du corps 12.In the first embodiment which is represented at 1, the tubular section 24 is rectilinear and is articulated around a second axial direction B which is perpendicular to the first general direction A of the body 12. As a result, the articulation direction B and the direction C of the second orifice 20 are confused. The tubular section 24 thus allows the connecting the second orifice 20 perpendicular to the axial direction A general of the body 12.

In the second embodiment, the tubular section 24 is bent at a right angle, and it is articulated around a second axial direction B which is perpendicular to the first direction of the body 12. The direction C of the second orifice 20 being perpendicular to the articulation direction B, the tubular section 24 allows, depending on the angular position of his articulation, the connection of the next second orifice 20 to the minus a direction C located in a plane parallel to the direction axial A general of the body 12.

Advantageously, the tubular section 24 associated with the first embodiment and the tubular section 24 associated with the second embodiment are interchangeable.

It will be understood that this provision is not limiting of the two embodiments of the invention, and that the second articulation direction B might not be perpendicular with the first general direction A of the body but form an angle determined with it.

In a similar way, it will be understood that, so non-limiting of the second embodiment of the invention, the direction C of the second orifice 20 may not be perpendicular to the articulation direction B but form a acute angle or obtuate determined with it.

In each of the embodiments, the tubular section 24 has an intermediate hinge end 26, opposite its free end 18, which is provided with a collar 28 annular including a transverse face 30 is rotatably mounted in contact with a transverse face 32 of an annular flange 34 complementary which is carried by one end 36 of articulation of the body 12.

Ainsi, l'extrémité 26 intermédiaire d'articulation, montée tournante autour de l'axe B perpendiculaire à la première direction axiale A générale du corps, permet l'articulation du tronçon tubulaire 24.Thus, the intermediate end 26 of articulation, mounted rotating around the B axis perpendicular to the first axial direction A general body, allows the articulation of the tubular section 24.

More particularly, the annular flange 28 of the intermediate end 26 of articulation of the tubular section 24 has an annular groove 38 which opens into its face transverse 30 and which is intended to receive a portion tubular 40 complementary projecting from the face transverse 32 of the annular collar 34 carried by the end 36 of articulation of the body 12.

Moreover, the connecting element 12 comprises means clamping the annular flanges 28 and 34 against each other, especially to ensure a good seal of the element of connector 12 when traversed by a stream of water.

The connecting element 12 also comprises means angular immobilization of the annular flanges 28, 34 one relative to each other, and means for indexing the position angle of the annular flanges 28, 34 with respect to the other.

This arrangement is particularly advantageous since it allows, especially in the context of the second mode implementation shown in Figure 2, to implement position accurately the tubular section 24 relative to the 12 and maintain it in that position, before ensuring sealing of the connecting element 12 by means of Tightening.

For this purpose, as 3 to 6, the annular flange 34 comprises for example four holes 42 angularly distributed at 90 degrees from each other, and which are intended to receive screws (not shown) that can be screwed into four corresponding holes (not shown) of the collar annular 28.

This configuration allows, as part of the first mode embodiment which has been shown in FIG. fixing the tubular section 24 according to its unique position.

This configuration is more particularly advantageous, since it allows, in the context of the second embodiment shown in FIGS. 2 to 6, to orient the tubular section 24 according to four different positions shown in Figures 3 to 6.

Thus, as illustrated in FIG. 3, the direction C of the orifice 20 can be oriented in two opposite positions, shown in Figures 3 and 5, which are parallel to the direction general A of the body 12, or following two according to two positions opposites shown in Figures 4 and 6, which are perpendicular to the general direction A of the body 12, according to initial position of assembly of the tubular section 24.

It will be understood that a higher number of screws and associated holes distributed angularly on a regular basis on the collars 28, 34 would offer a greater number of positions.

It will also be understood that one could consider the use of means of immobilization, indexing, and different clamping arrangements, such as a collar (not shown) taper mounted externally on a conical periphery of flanges 28, 34. Such collar would put in position the tubular section 24 following a large number of positions established before tightening said collar.

Le robinet est par exemple formé d'un pointeau qui est reçu dans un alésage 50 qui communique avec l'alésage 44.Advantageously, as illustrated in FIG. 3, the body 12 comprises, upstream of the solenoid valve 22, a filter (no shown) which is interposed between its articulation end and the valve 22. The filter is for example housed in a bore 44 which is formed in a boss 46 integral with the body 12, which is closed by a plug 48, and which communicates with the solenoid valve 22. Moreover, as illustrated in FIGS. 2, the body 12 includes a flow control valve which is interposed between its hinge end 36 and the filter which is housed in the bore 44. The valve is for example formed of a needle which is received in a bore 50 that communicates with the bore 44.

Enfin, l'élément 10 peut être fixé à au moins un support extérieur d'une part par l'intermédiaire de vis (non représentées) traversant des perçages 52 d'oreilles 54 qui s'étendent radialement à partir de la première extrémité libre 14 et d'autre part par l'intermédiaire de vis (non représentées) traversant des perçages 56 d'oreilles 58 d'un collier 60 monté autour du tronçon tubulaire 24.Finally, the element 10 can be attached to at least one support outside on the one hand by means of screws (not shown) traversing pierces 52 ears 54 which extend radially from the first free end 14 and other through screws (not shown) passing through holes 56 of ears 58 of a collar 60 mounted around the section tubular 24.

The invention therefore makes it possible to have an element of Plumbing fitting that can be adapted to many mounting configuration.
