Claims (8)

  1. Sealing sleeve (10) for the sealing of connections in domestic appliances, particularly the connections between outer drum and front housing wall (6) or solution container upper part and cover frame in washing machines, which sleeve is fastenable by a substantially annular tightening element (11), characterised in that the tightening element (11) can be moulded in place in the interior of the section (9) which is to be fastened, of the sleeve (10).
  2. Sealing sleeve according to claim 1, characterised in that it has an annular channel (12), which is connected with the outer surface of the sealing sleeve (10) by at least one groove (13) and which is suitable for reception of the tightening element (11).
  3. Sealing sleeve according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the tightening element (11) is premounted in the sealing sleeve (10) prior to mounting of the sealing sleeve (10) in the domestic appliance.
  4. Sealing sleeve according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that it is formed by injection moulding.
  5. Sealing sleeve according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the tightening element (11) is formed to be automatically resiliently retightenable.
  6. Sealing sleeve according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the tightening element (11) moulded in place is a helical spring.
  7. Sealing sleeve according to any one of claims 4 to 6, characterised in that the tightening element (11) is injection-moulded around already when the sleeve (10) is injection-moulded.
  8. Sealing sleeve according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that a bead (9) of the sealing sleeve (10) with tightening element (11) moulded in place is so constructed that it comes into engagement with a curved substantially annular collar (8) of the edge, which bounds the door opening, of the front housing wall (6).
