Claims (4)

  1. Device for mounting a heating element in drum washing machines, the heating element in the form of a pipe coil being insertable into the suds container from the outside through an opening, and a retaining member being provided for the free end of the pipe coil on the suds container casing,
    characterised in that
    the retaining member (5) comprises a retaining bar (6), consisting of a wire bar which is bent in a trapezium shape and which can be inserted or snapped in, in a self-locking manner, into mountings (7.1, 7.2) which are integrally formed on the suds container casing (4), the short side (9) of the trapezium being bent up to form mutually parallel ends (10.1, 10.2) which can be inserted into integrally formed, likewise mutually parallel sleeves (11.1, 11.2) on the suds container casing (4).
  2. Device according to claim 1,
    characterised in that
    the integrally formed sleeves (11.1, 11.2) are each provided on the insertion side with an integrally formed locking member (12.1, 12.2) for the self-locking fixing of the wire bar (6).
  3. Device according to claim 2,
    characterised in that
    each individual locking member (12.1, 12.2) is formed from an introduction bevel (13.1, 13.2), to which an undercut (14.1, 14.2) is attached, into which in particular the extension (15.1, 15.2) of the respective mutually parallel end (10.1, 10.2) presses in such a way as to be fixed.
  4. Device according to claim 3,
    characterised in that
    the introduction bevel (13.1, 13.2) is fitted to the round-rod shape of the wire bar (6).
