Abstract

The lock fitting incorporates a sliding assembly (4) with a bolt holder (6) and a hole for a locking screw (43) that fixes the bolt in place. The screw is accessible through a hole in the outer wall of the lock housing, and the assembly is designed so that the screw head is concealed by a movable cover (66) which is retained on the assembly while the screw is being turned. The sliding assembly is made e.g. from a mpoulded plastic material, with the screw cover attached to it by a hinge (67) of thin plastic.

  8. Locking fitting according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the mask (66, 68) has transversal ends having a shape adapted to the shape of the longitudinal ends of the aperture (8).
