Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Trennwand, insbesondere Duschtrennwand, enthaltend ein Wandelement (2) und ein bezüglich diesem mittels eines Scharniers (24, 26) schwenkbares Türelement (4), wobei das Wandelement (2) und das Türelement (4) bevorzugt als rahmenlose Platten ausgebildet sind und im Bereich des Scharniers einander zugewandte im wesentlichen vertikal ausgerichtete Längskanten (6, 8) enthalten. Die Trennwand soll mit einem geringen konstruktiven Aufwand dahingehend weitergebildet werden, daß das Türelement (4) bezüglich des Wandelements (2) über große Winkelbereiche geschwenkt werden kann, wobei das Scharnier ein geringes Bauvolumen erfordern soll. Hierzu wird vorgeschlagen, daß das Wandelement (2) und das Türelement (4) zu ihrer Längskante (6, 8) jeweils offene Ausnehmungen (12, 14) enthalten, daß die Scharnierelemente (24, 26) zumindest teilweise in die zugeordnete Ausnehmung (12, 14) eingreifende Lagerkörper (28, 29) mit einem Scharnierbolzen (34, 35) enthalten und daß wenigstens ein Verbindungskörper (42, 43) vorgesehen ist, welcher zumindest teilweise in einer Ausnehmung (44, 46) des Lagerkörpers (30, 31) angeordnet ist und mit den jeweiligen Scharnierbolzen (34, 35) des dem Wandelement (2) bzw. dem Türelement (4) zugeordneten Scharnierelements (28, 29) schwenkbar gekoppelt ist.

Description

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Trennwand, insbesondere Duschtrennwand, gemäß der im Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1 angegebenen Merkmale.
Aus der EP-A-1 013 210 ist eine derartige als Duschtrennwand ausgebildete Trennwand mit einem Wandelement und einem bezüglich des letzteren mittels Scharnieren schwenkbar gelagerten Türelement bekannt. Das Wandelement und das Türelement sind als rahmenlose Platten, insbesondere aus Glas, ausgebildet. Die Scharniere sind im Bereich der Außenseite der Duschtrennwand an dem Wandelement und dem Türelement angeordnet und die Scharnierachsen, um welche das Türelement bezüglich des Wandelements schwenkbar ist, befinden sich gleichfalls im Bereich der Außenseite. Das Türelement kann bezüglich des Wandelements nur um einen Schwenkbereich in der Größenordnung von 90° geschwenkt werden.
Hiervon ausgehend liegt der Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde, die Trennwand mit geringem konstruktiven Aufwand dahingehend weiterzubilden, daß das Türelement in einfacher und definierter Weise sowohl beim Öffnen als auch beim Schließen über große Winkelbereiche gechwenkt werden kann. Die Trennwand und insbesondere deren Scharniere sollen ein geringes Bauvolumen aufweisen und erfordern, wobei eine einfache Fertigung und Handhabung ermöglicht werden soll. Ferner soll das Scharnier mit einem geringen Fertigungsaufwand herstellbar sein und einen geringen Montageaufwand zur Herstellung der Verbindung mit den beiden Elementen erfordern.
Die Lösung dieser Aufgabe erfolgt gemäß der im Patentanspruch 1 angegebenen Merkmale.
Die erfindungsgemäße Trennwand zeichnet sich durch eine einfache und funktionsgerechte Konstruktion aus, gemäß welcher das Scharnier teilweise in Ausnehmungen im Bereich der einander zugewandten Längskanten des Wandelements und des Türelements angeordnet ist. Die Ausnehmungen sind zu den jeweiligen Längskanten der Platten des Wandelements bzw. des Türelements offen ausgebildet. Die Lagerkörper sind zumindest teilweise in der jeweiligen Ausnehmung angeordnet und die Verbindung der genannten Lagerkörper erfolgt mittels wenigstens eines, bevorzugt plattenförmig ausgebildeten Verbindungskörpers, dessen Enden mittels Scharnierbolzen des jeweiligen Lagerkörpers schwenkbar gekoppelt sind. Der oder bevorzugt die beiden Verbindungskörper sind gleichfalls teilweise in den genannten Ausnehmungen der Platten angeordnet, so daß insgesamt eine kompakte platzsparende Bauweise gewährleistet ist. Die genannten Scharnierbolzen liegen in zweckmäßiger Weise in der gleichen vertikalen Ebene wie die Platten des Wand- bzw. Türelements. Die Lagerkörper sind mit Scharnierplatten verbunden und mit diesen integrale Bestandteile des Scharnierelements, wobei die Scharnierplatten an der in montiertem Zustand der Trennwand im wesentlichen vertikalen Oberfläche der Platte angeordnet und mit dieser befestigt ist. Auf der anderen Seite der insbesondere aus Glas bestehenden Platte des Wand- bzw. Türelements ist eine Abdeckplatte vorgesehen, wobei geeignete Verbindungselemente, insbesondere Schrauben, zur gegenseitigen Verbindung der Scharnierplatte und der zugeordneten Abdeckplatte vorhanden sind.
Die Scharnierplatte und ebenso die korrespondierend ausgebildete Abdeckplatte enthalten im Prinzip U-förmige in Richtung zur Längskante offene Ausnehmungen, wobei im Bereich dieser Ausnehmungen der insbesondere plattenförmige Verbindungskörper der Scharnierelemente angeordnet ist. Mittels der Abdeckplatte und ebenso mittels der Scharnierplatte wird die in der Platte des Wand- bzw. Türelements befindliche Ausnehmung überdeckt, so daß im Ergebnis bei kompakten Abmessungen ein ansprechendes Design bei gleichwohl stabiler und funktionsgerechter Konstruktion gewährleistet ist. Es sei an dieser Stelle angemerkt, daß das Wandelement als beispielsweise auf dem Rand einer Duschwanne feststehendes Wandelement ebenso ausgebildet sein kann, wie als gleichfalls mittels weiterer Scharniere schwenkbares Wandelement, bei Ausbildung der Duschtrennwand als Faltwand.
Des weiteren sei festgehalten, daß das Wandelement und das Türelement rahmenlos ausgebildet sind und in der erfindungsgemäßen Weise die Scharniere unmittelbar mit den Platten verbunden sind, wobei in zweckmäßiger Weise im Verbindungsbereich des Wandelements und des Türelements zwei der erfindungsgemäß ausgebildeten und angeordneten Scharniere in vertikaler Richtung beabstandet, zweckmäßig im oberen und unteren Eckbereich der genannten Wand- und Türelemente, angeordnet sind. Darüber hinaus ist es von maßgebender Bedeutung, daß ausgehend von der geschlossenen Position, gemäß welcher das Türelement im wesentlichen in der gleichen Vertikalebene wie das Wandelement steht, das Türelement sowohl zur Innenseite als auch in den Außenraum der Trennwand jeweils über einen sehr großen Winkelbereich von zumindest näherungsweise 180° schwenkbar ist.
In einer besonderen Ausgestaltung der Erfindung enthalten die Scharniere Kopplungskörper, welche eine Zwangsführung beim Schwenken des Türelements bezüglich des Wandelements oder umgekehrt, gewährleisten. Die Kopplungskörper sind in bevorzugter Weise in die Lagerkörper integriert, und bevorzugt drehfest mit dem zugeordneten Scharnierelement verbunden und stehen miteinander in Eingriff. Hierzu können die Kopplunskörper an ihren einander zugewandten Außenflächen insbesondere Verzahnungen aufweisen oder ein flexibles Band enthalten. Da die Kopplungskörper in die Lagerkörper integriert sind oder unmittelbar mit diesen verbunden sind, wird praktisch ohne zusätzlichen Herstellungsaufwand oder Platzbedarf ein funktionsgerechtes Schwenken, beispielsweise des Türelements bezüglich des Wandelements, sichergestellt.
Weiterbildungen und besondere Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung sind in den Unteransprüchen sowie der weiteren Beschreibung angegeben.
Nachfolgend wird die Erfindung anhand der in der Zeichnung dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiele näher erläutert, ohne daß insoweit eine Beschränkung erfolgt.

Fig. 1 bzw. 2 zeigen teilweise die als Duschtrennwand ausgebildete Trennwand in einer Ansicht bzw. in einem Schnitt in einer horizontalen Schnittebene gemäß Schnittlinie II, und zwar im Bereich eines Scharniers. Die Duschtrennwand enthält ein Wandelement 2 und ein Türelement 4, welche im wesentlichen als vertikal angeordnete Platten, insbesondere aus Silikatglas oder Acrylglas, ausgebildet sind und im Bereich ihrer vertikalen Längskanten 6, 8 mittels zwei Scharnieren, von welchen hier eines dargestellt ist, gegeneinander verschwenkbar verbunden sind. Das Wandelement 2 und das Türelement 4 sind als sogenannte rahmenlose Elemente ausgebildet, wobei das Türelement 4 als Schwenkflügel ausgebildet ist. Das Wandelement 2 kann beispielsweise auf dem Rand einer Dusch- oder Badewanne feststehend montiert sein, oder bezüglich eines weiteren Wandelements oder eines Wandprofils oder dergleichen gleichfalls schwenkbar gelagert sein, wobei eine derartige Duschtrennwand auch als Faltwand bezeichnet wird. Die beiden Scharniere sind in vertikaler Richtung zueinander beabstandet angeordnet, und zwar zweckmäßig im Bereich des oberen bzw. unteren Endes des Wand- und des Türelements, und sind übereinstimmend ausgebildet. Für das jeweilige Scharnier enthält das Wandelement 2 eine zur Längskante 6 offene, im Prinzip U-förmige und zweckmäßig sich durch die gesamte Dicke des Wandelements hindurch erstreckende Ausnehmung 12. Entsprechend enthält das Türelement 4 für das jeweilige Scharnier eine zu seiner Längskante 8 offene, vorteilhaft im Prinzip U-förmige und sich zweckmäßig über die gesamte Dicke des Türelements 4 erstreckende Ausnehmung 14. Wie insbesondere aus Fig. 2 ersichtlich, enthalten das Wandelement 2 und entsprechend das Türelement 4 in horizontaler Richtung von den Ausnehmungen 12, 14 bezüglich der vertikalen Längskanten 6 bzw. 8 in einem vorgegebenen Abstand 16, 18 angeordnete Bohrungen 20, 22 zur Befestigung und Verbindung der Scharnierelemente 24, 26. Die Scharnierelemente 24, 26 sind in bevorzugter Weise übereinstimmend ausgebildet, so daß die nachfolgenden Erläuterungen jeweils entsprechend für das andere Scharnierelement des Scharniers gelten.
Das Scharnierelement enthält eine an der Oberfläche des Wand- bzw. Türelements 4 anliegende Scharnierplatte 28 sowie einen Lagerkörper 30, welcher im wesentlichen innerhalb der Ausnehmung 12 bzw. 14 angeordnet ist und in diese eingreift. Der Lagerkörper 30 weist eine zur Längskante 6 bzw. 8 im wesentlichen parallele Bohrung 32, 33 auf, in welcher jeweils ein Scharnierbolzen 34, 35 angeordnet ist. Wie insbesondere aus Fig. 2 ersichtlich, liegen die genannten Bohrungen und deren Scharnierbolzen 34, 35 in der gleichen vertikalen Ebene wie das Wandelement 2 bzw. Türelement 4 , und zwar innerhalb der jeweiligen Ausnehmung 12, 14. Mittels der Scharnierplatten 28, 29 werden die bei Blickrichtung auf die Duschtrennwand dahinterliegenden Ausnehmungen 12, 14 ebenso wie die Bohrungen 20, 22 überdeckt. Auf den anderen, gemäß Fig. 1 rückwärtigen Seite des Wandelements 2 bzw. des Türelements 4 sind Abdeckplatten 36, 37 angeordnet, welche die genannten Ausnehmungen und Bohrungen analog zu den Scharnierplatten 28, 29 überdecken, wobei ferner als Schrauben 38, 39 ausgebildete Verbindungselemente vorgesehen sind. Die Scharnierplatten 28, 29 enthalten in die jeweilige Bohrung 32, 33 eingreifende Ansätze 40, 41, insbesondere mit Gewindebohrungen, in welche die Schrauben 38, 39 eingeschraubt sind. Die Ansätze 40, 41 weisen einen um einen vorgegebenen betrag kleineren Außendurchmesser auf als die Innendurchmesser der Bohrungen 20, 22, so daß die Scharnierelemente 24, 26 bezüglich des Wandelements 2 bzw. Türelements 4 ausrichtbar sind. Ferner enthält der Lagerkörper 30, 31 insbesondere eine Gewindebohrung für die Schraube 39. Auch der Lagerkörper 30, 31 weist bezüglich der Ausnehmung 12, 14 um einen vorgegebenen Betrag kleinere Außenabmessungen derart auf, daß das Scharnierelement 24, 26 bezüglich des Wandelements 2, 4 in der erwähnten Weise ausrichtbar ist. Das Wandelement 2 bzw. Türelement ist wie aus Fig. 2 unmitelbar ersichtlich, zwischen die Scharnierplatte 28, 29 und die zugeordnete Abdeckplatte 36, 37 ausrichtbar eingespannt, wobei mittels der Schrauben 38, 39 eine funktionssichere Festlegung gewährleistet ist.
Ferner sind im Bereich der beiden Ausnehmungen 12, 14 zwei Verbindungskörper 42, 43 angeordnet, durch deren Endbereiche die Scharnierbolzen 34, 35 durchgreifen. Es sei hier angemerkt, daß grundsätzlich ein einziger Verbindungskörper zur Verbindung des Wandelements 2 mit dem Türelement 4 vorgesehen sein kann. Die Verbindungskörper 42, 43 sind in bevorzugter Weise plattenförmig ausgebildet und sind im wesentlichen in den einander gegenüberliegenden Ausnehmungen 12 bzw. 14 sowie in einander gegenüberliegenden Ausnehmungen 44, 46 der Scharnierelemente 24, 26 bzw. deren Lagerkörper 30, 31 angeordnet. Auch die Abdeckplatten 36, 37 enthalten in analoger Weise Ausnehmungen 48, 50, durch welche die Verbindungskörper 42, 43 bzw. deren Enden durchgreifen.
Im Bereich der Ausnehmungen 44, 46 sowie 48, 50 sind ferner Kopplungskörper 52, 54 vorgesehen. Wie dargestellt, enthalten die Kopplungskörper 52, 54 ineinander greifende Außenverzahnungen 56, 58 und werden von den Scharnierbolzen 34, 35 durchdrungen. Die Kopplungskörper 52, 54 sind bezüglich der Scharnierplatte 28 bzw. 29 drehfest angeordnet, wobei gemäß Fig. 2 die Kopplungskörper 52, 54 mit einer zu den Scharnierbolzen 34, 35 parallelen Anlageflächen an einer gegenüberliegende Anlagefläche des jeweiligen Lagerkörpers 30, 31 anliegen. Alternativ können im Rahmen der Erfindung die Kopplungskörper 52, 54 auch integrale Bestandteile der Scharnierelemente 24, 26 bzw. einteilig mit diesen ausgebildet sein.
Fig. 3 zeigt eine Ansicht des Scharniers entsprechend Fig. 1, wobei hier gut das ansprechende Design der insgesamt recht kleinen Scharnierplatten 28, 29 zu erkennen ist. Die oben erläuterten Ausnehmungen des Wandelements 2 und des Türelements 4 und die Bohrungen für die Verbindungselemente sind mittels der Scharnierplatten 28, 29 sowie mittels der hinter der Zeichenebene liegenden Abdeckplatten überdeckt und bleiben einem Betrachter verborgen. Fig. 3 zeigt die Ansicht von der Außenseite der Duschtrennwand im geschlossenen Zustand des Türelements 4 in Blickrichtung auf den mittels der Duschtrennwand vom Außenraum abgetrennten Innenraum über einer Duschwanne oder dergleichen. Im Bereich der Längskanten 6, 8 sind hier nicht weiter dargestellte Dichtungselemente, insbesondere in Form von elastisch nachgiebigen Dichtleisten oder dergleichen vorgesehen, um ein Durchtreten von Spritzwasser vom Duschinnenraum in den Außenraum zu unterbinden.
Fig. 4 zeigt eine Aufsicht von oben auf die Duschtrennwand im Bereich des Scharniers, wobei mittels der Pfeile 60, 62 die Schwenkbarkeit des Türelements 4 bezüglich des Wandelements 2 um jeweils 180° angedeutet ist. Wie bereits erwähnt, weist die Duschtrennwand zwei vertikal beabstandet angeordnete Scharniere der erfindungsgemäßen Bauart auf. Mittels der Kopplungskörper 52, 54 der beiden vertikal übereinander angeordneten Scharniere wird gewährleistet, daß beim Schwenken des Türelements 4 gemäß der Pfeile 60, 62 eine synchrone Bewegung erfolgt und das Türelement 4 vertikal ausgerichtet bleibt und somit ein Abkippen aus der vertikalen Position unterbunden wird. Befindet sich gemäß Fig. 4 das Türelement 4 in der gleichen vertikalen Ebene wie das Wandelement 2, so ist der Duschinnenraum 66 vom Duschaußenraum 64 abgetrennt. Zum Öffnen der Duschtrennwand bzw. des gemäß Figur rechts befindlichen Durchgangsbereiches der Duschtrennwand kann das Türelement 4 sowohl in den Außenraum 64 als auch in den Innenraum 66 hineingeschwenkt werden, und zwar bis jeweils maximal in die gestrichelt angedeuteten Positionen gemäß der mittels der Pfeile 60 bzw. 62 angedeuteten Schwenkwinkel von 180°. Hierdurch wird die Handhabung und die Benutzung der Duschtrennwand erheblich verbessert, zumal das Türelement 4 aus dem Durchtrittsbereich vollständig herausgeschwenkt werden kann und ein Benutzer somit ungehindert in den Duschinnenraum gelangen bzw. diesen wieder verlassen kann. Auch zur Wartung und Reinigung der Duschtrennwand ist der große Schwenkwinkelbereich des Türelements 4 von erheblicher Bedeutung.
Fig. 5 zeigt eine Aufsicht auf die Duschtrennwand, wobei das Türelement 4 bezüglich des Wandelements 2 umd einen Winkel von 90° aus der geschlossenen Position herausgeschwenkt ist. Zur Verdeutlichung ist der plattenförmige Verbindungskörper 42 mit durchgehender Außenkontur dargestellt. Der Verbindungskörper 42, gleiches gilt natürlich für die anderen Verbindungskörper, ist aus der geschlossenen Position bzw. Ruheposition, und zwar bezüglich des Scharnierbolzens 34 des Wandelements 2 um 45° geschwenkt. Es sei festgehalten, daß aufgrund der oben erläuterten Kopplungskörper 52, 54 die Schwenkbewegungen sämtlicher Verbindungskörper des oberen und des unteren Scharniers synchron verlaufen und im Ergebnis das Türelement 4 die vertikale Ausrichtung unabhängig von der jeweiligen Schwenkpostion beibehält. Des weiteren sei darauf hingewiesen, daß die Außenkontur der Teile bzw. Endteile des Verbindungskörpers 42 derart abgerundet bzw. kreisförmig ausgebildet sind, daß die ineinandergreifenden Außenverzahnungen 56, 58 der Kopplungskörper 52, 54 zumindest näherungsweise überdeckt sind. Ein Einklemmen von Fremdkörpern, eines Badetuchs oder dergleichen wird somit in vorteilhafter Weise verhindert.
Fig. 6 zeigt eine besondere Ausgestaltung der erfindungsgemäßen Trennwand bzw. deren Scharnier, wobei im Unterschied zu dem oben erläuterten Ausführungsbeispiel die Kopplungskörper 52, 54 keine Außenverzahnungen für die Zwangskopplung enthalten, sondern ein flexibles Band 68 vorgesehen ist. Das flexible Band 68 besteht aus einem derartigen flexiblen Werkstoff, daß Biegungen quer zu seiner Längserstreckung durchführbar sind, jedoch die Länge zwischen seinen Enden 70, 72 erfindungsgemäß unverändert beibehalten wird. Das flexible Band 68 besteht insbesondere aus Kunststoff, doch kann es ohne weiteres aus einem flexiblen Gewebe, aus Drähten, einem Stahlband oder dergleichen hergestellt sein. Die gemäß Zeichnung verdickt ausgeführten Enden 70, 71 sind in Längsnuten 72, 74 angeordnet, welche bevorzugt im wesentlichen parallel zu den Scharnierbolzen 34, 35 verlaufen. Die Kopplungskörper 52, 54 besitzen zu den Scharnierbolzen 34, 35 koaxiale zumindest teilweise zylindrische Außenflächen 76, 78, an welchen das flexible Band 68 entsprechend der jeweiligen Schwenkposition des Türelements 4 bezüglich des Wandelements 2 anliegt, Die einander zugewandten zylindrischen Außenflächen der Kopplungskörper 52, 54 erstrecken sich jeweils über Winkel von im wesentlichen 180°. Wie ersichtlich, entspricht der Abstand der Achsen der Scharnierbolzen 34, 35 zumindest näherungsweise dem doppelten Radius der Kopplungskörper 52, 54 und der Dicke des flexiblen Bandes.
Fig. 7 zeigt die Kopplungskörper 52, 54 und das flexible Band 68 in der gleichen Position wie Fig. 6, gemäß welcher das Türelement 4 in der gleichen Vertikalebene wie das Wandelement 2 steht. Gemäß Fig. 8 ist hingegen das Türelement 4 um einen Winkel von 90° geschwenkt und gemäß Fig. 9 um einen Winkel von 180°. Es bedarf keiner besonderen Hervorhebung, daß ausgehend von der anhand von Fig. 6 und 7 erläuterten Position das Türelement und somit dessen Kopplungskörper 54 in der entgegengesetzten Richtung zu Fig. 8 und 9 gleichfalls um 90 bzw. 180° geschwenkt werden kann.

Claims (10)

  1. Trennwand, insbesondere Duschtrennwand, enthaltend ein Wandelement (2) und ein bezüglich diesem mittels eines Scharniers (24, 26) schwenkbares Türelement (4), wobei das Wandelement (2) und das Türelement (4) bevorzugt als rahmenlose Platten ausgebildet sind und im Bereich des Scharniers einander zugewandte im wesentlichen vertikal ausgerichtete Längskanten (6, 8) enthalten, wobei bevorzugt zwei in vertikaler Richtung beabstandete und Scharnierelemente enthaltende Scharniere vorgesehen sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Wandelement (2) und das Türelement (4) zu ihrer Längskante (6, 8) jeweils offene Ausnehmungen (12, 14) enthalten,
    daß die Scharnierelemente (24, 26) zumindest teilweise in die zugeordnete Ausnehmung (12, 14) eingreifende Lagerkörper (28, 29) mit einem Scharnierbolzen (34, 35) enthalten und daß wenigstens ein Verbindungskörper (42, 43) vorgesehen ist, welcher zumindest teilweise in einer Ausnehmung (44, 46) des Lagerkörpers (30, 31) angeordnet ist und mit den jeweiligen Scharnierbolzen (34, 35) des dem Wandelement (2) bzw. dem Türelement (4) zugeordneten Scharnierelements (28, 29) schwenkbar gekoppelt ist.
  2. Trennwand nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Scharnierelement (24, 26) eine an der Außenfläche des Wandelements (2) bzw. des Türelements (4) anliegende Scharnierplatte (28, 29) enthält und/oder daß mittels der Scharnierplatte (28, 29) die Ausnehmung (12 bzw. 14) des Wandelements (2 bzw. 4) überdeckt ist.
  3. Trennwand, insbesondere nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß auf der der Scharnierplatte (28, 29) gegenüberliegenden anderen Seite des Wandelements (2 bzw. 4) eine Abdeckplatte (36, 37) angeordnet ist, und/oder daß die Scharnierplatte (28, 29), zweckmäßig auch der Lagerkörper (30, 31) mittels Verbindungselementen (38, 39), welche insbesondere als Schrauben ausgebildet sind, mit der Abdeckplatte (36, 37) fest verbunden ist, wobei das Wandelement (2) bzw. Türelemenmt (4) zwischen dem Scharnierelement (24, 26) und der Abdeckplatte (36, 37) festgespannt ist.
  4. Trennwand nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Ausnehmung (12, 14) im Wandelement (2) bzw. Türelement (4) eine zur Längskante (6 bzw. 8) offene und bevorzugt im wesentlichen U-förmige Kontur besitzt und/oder daß die Ausnehmung (44, 46) im Scharnierelement (24, 26) zum jeweils gegenüber liegenden Scharnierelement (26, 24) offen ausgebildet ist und eine bevorzugt im wesentlichen U-förmige Kontur aufweist.
  5. Trennwand nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Wandelement (2) bzw. das Türelement (4) eine zur Längskante (6 bzw. 8) in einem Abstand (16 bzw. 18) angeordnete Bohrung (20, 22) enthält, wobei der Abstand (16 bzw. 18 ) größer ist als die Tiefe der Ausnehmung (12, 14) bezüglich der Längskante (6, 8), und/oder daß die Scharnierplatte (28, 29) einen zumindest teilweise in die Bohrung (20, 22) eingreifenden Ansatz (40, 41) aufweist, wobei dessen Außendurchmesser bevorzugt um einen vorgegebenen Wert kleiner ist als der Innendurchmesser der Bohrung (20, 22).
  6. Trennwand, insbesondere nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Scharnierelemente (24, 26) miteinander in Wirkeingriff stehende Kopplungskörper (52, 54) derart aufweisen, daß eine definierte Bewegungsbahn, insbesondere eine synchronisierte Bewegung der beiden vertikal beabstandet zueinander vorgesehenen Scharniere vorgegeben ist und/oder daß das Türelement (4) beim Schwenken bezüglich des Wandelements (2) seine vertikale Ausrichtung beibehält.
  7. Trennwand nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kopplungskörper (52, 54) ineinander greifende Außenverzahnungen (56, 58) enthalten oder daß die Kopplungskörper (52, 54) mittels eines flexiblen Bandes (68) gekoppelt sind.
  8. Trennwand nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Verbindungskörper (42, 43) im wesentlichen innerhalb der Ausnehmung (44, 46) der Scharnierelemente (24, 26) sowie der Ausnehmung (48, 50) der genannten Abdeckplatte (36, 37) angeordnet ist.
  9. Trennwand nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kopplungskörper (52, 54) in Richtung des jeweils zugeordneten Scharnierbolzens (34, 35) zwischen zwei Verbindungskörpern (42, 43) angeordnet sind und/oder daß der Scharnierbolzen (34, 35) den oder die Verbindungskörper (42, 43) sowie den Kopplungskörper (52, 54) durchdringt und mit seinem wenigstens einen, bevorzugt beiden Enden, im Lagerkörper (30, 31) festgelegt ist.
  10. Trennwand nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Scharnierbolzen (34, 35) zumindest näherungsweise im wesentlichen in der gleichen vertikalen Ebene angeordnet ist wie das Wandelement (2) bzw. das Türelement (4).
