Definitions
- the link passes through a blocker 38 which, in accordance with the teachings of the invention, is held by a retaining piece 32.
- the retaining piece comprises a textile panel 34 which covers the lower two-thirds of the front wall 20 of the bag, and a reinforcing strip 36 which extends vertically along the outer side of the textile panel 34, from the lower point of return 27 to the highest point of the textile panel.
- the blocker Due to the fact that the blocker is fixed on the retaining piece 32, the user does not need to hold or move the blocker when he wishes to tighten the retaining device. Furthermore, by fixing the blocker on the retaining piece 32 which can deviate from the bag, and not directly on the bag, the blocker does not interfere with the introduction or removal of the object under the retainer.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a luggage article.
Elle sera plus particulièrement décrite dans le cadre de son application à un sac à dos, mais elle pourra être appliquée à tout type de sac souple, ou à des bagages semi-rigides ou rigidesIt will be more particularly described in the context of its application to a backpack, but it can be applied to any type of flexible bag, or semi-rigid or rigid baggage
Any item of luggage has a main compartment, in principle closed, for receiving the objects that you want to carry with this article. This main compartment forms the bulk of the internal volume of the bag: The article optionally comprises external pockets which form closed auxiliary compartments, and which are intended for storing objects that one wishes to keep immediately accessible. Finally, the luggage items also include external restraints that allow to hang outside the bag of additional items. These restraint systems may consist of simple straps.
An external restraint system is for example illustrated in Figure 7 of EP-A1-0.612.489. In this figure, we can see a backpack with a retaining device for pressing an object against an outer wall of the bag, in this case on the outer face of the flap. The retaining device comprises a flexible link which circulates along a following path of the return points formed by loops carried by said outer wall of the flap. The length of the link course is adjustable by a blocker whose position on the link is adjustable, in order to tighten an object such as a helmet, a jacket or other accessories.
Thus, such a retaining system allows to fix on the bag relatively bulky objects, possibly larger than the bag, even if these objects are not then particularly protected, especially vis-à-vis the rain. Such a retainer takes no empty space and weighs very little, while being able to accommodate objects of various sizes and shapes.
The problem with this type of restraint is that it is necessary to use both hands to close the device on the object that is to be pressed against the outer wall of the bag. Indeed, the closure of the device is done by pulling on the free end of the link with one hand, to tighten the object against the outer face, and sliding with the other hand the blocker along the link to a locking position in which it maintains the tension link against the object to be plated. The object of the invention is to propose a system in which the user could carry out this one-hand closing operation.
Document FR-2,754,984 describes a bag equipped with a compression system which can be tightened with one hand thanks to a blocker fixed on the outer face of the bag. US-4,739,913 discloses a backpack with external pockets provided with a closure cord on which is mounted a free blocker.
Dans ce but, l'invention propose un article de bagagerie selon les caractéristique de la revendication 1.For this purpose, the invention proposes a luggage article according to the features of claim 1.

- FIGS. 5 and 6 are diagrammatic views illustrating, in two positions, an embodiment of a blocker that can be used in the context of the invention:
For greater convenience of description, it will be considered in the following that the
According to the invention, the
Between the two upper
More specifically, the
The textile panel may be a fabric panel or consist of a net which, by its deformation capacity, can best adapt to the shape of any object introduced into the space between the
If the
In the illustrated example, it is chosen that the link comprises a section attached to the bag. In this case, the
In FIG. 3, it can be seen that, when the retaining piece is vacuum-pressed against the
As can be seen in FIG. 4, the
It can be seen that the blocker defines for each of the two strands of the link a
In the illustrated embodiment, in which the
The orientation of the blocker with respect to the orientation of the
The blocker described here is particularly simple so inexpensive. However, the invention may be implemented with other types of blocker, for example with a blocker of the type described in EP-629.793.
Due to the fact that the blocker is fixed on the retaining
Within the meaning of the invention, the retaining piece is constituted in the example described of the
