Abstract

The invention relates to an access system in which an access authorization that can be disposed of outside of the vehicle communicates with identification means located inside the vehicle. If the identification means respond, control means which operate a door lock (40) from a door handle (10) are transferred out of their inoperative position into an operative position. To this end, the door handle (10) can move between three different positions (10.1, 10.2). In the first position, the door handle (10) is located in a retracted position (10.1), which cannot be grasped by the human hand, but rather is streamlined. Only when the door handle (10) is in a protruding extended position (10.2) is the latter possible. The door handle is then manually displaced into a third protracted position in which the door lock (40) is opened. According to the invention, this mode of operation is ensured by an actuator (30) configured, for example, as an eccentric.

Description

The invention relates to an access system in the preamble of The door handle is first by means of a motor driven actuator between a first retracted position where only insufficiently detected, transferred to a second extended position, where a the door handle can be properly grasped by the human hand. In the retracted position, the door lock is closed, which also applies to the second Extend position applies. From there, however, the door handle can be moved manually to an end position be moved further where the door lock is opened via mechanical control means becomes.

In the known access system of this type (DE 197 40 827 A1) there is Actuator from a by actuating a locking cylinder or by a motor between three pivot positions movable drive element, of which on the one hand protrude a draw bolt and on the other hand a pressure bolt. The door handle includes one Cover that is flush with the door handle in the first retracted position The outer skin of the door is located so that neither dust nor moisture can penetrate into the recessed grip to let. In this first retracted position, the draw bolt engages behind the linkage of the door handle.

In a known access system of another type (US 5,873,274) the door handle is in the Exit sense spring-loaded. A latch engages in its retracted position form-fitting in recesses in the door handle and holds it in the Retracted position. The bolt releases by key actuation of a locking cylinder the door handle free, which due to its spring load in his Extend position. The return movement of the door handle from the spring-loaded Extending into the retracted position must be done manually. A remote control the door handle is not possible due to this manual reset.

In an access system of another design (DE 198 16 603 C1) it is known to grasp the door handle by hand in the first handle position and manually until to move to a second handle position, where normally a blocking element prevents further movement into the third grip position. Only when they are in the vehicle Identify existing means of access, that was Blocking element removed, which then moves the door handle to the third handle position could be moved manually. With this known access system the door handle reliably in the first handle position by the human Be taken by hand. This required sufficient space to insert the human hand on the handle and / or on the neighboring one Exterior door trim may be provided. This shape affects the moving Vehicle in an undesirable increase in flow resistance. In addition, this prior art was keyless Access system where the electronics must not fail. The latter limits the Area of application of this known access system. Because the door handle is under one Spring load, which always tries to return it to the first grip position, the known access system could cause hand clamps, whom the door handle was held until the last. But if the handle has already been e.g. released in the extreme third grip position, so very annoying Noise when moved back to its first grip position by the spring force Door handle noticeable.

The invention has for its object a in the retracted position of the handle "Slippery" access system in the preamble of claim 1 specified type to develop, which also with a lock motor controlled door lock is applicable and also in an emergency, in the event of failure Electronics that can be handled reliably. This is according to the invention by the Claim 1 achieved measures, which have the following special meaning due.

An eccentric is used as an actuator on which the door handle or Linkage in the rest position at the eccentric minimum and in the working position on Eccentric maximum always supported non-positively. The eccentric profile forms one adjustable stop for the door handle or its linkage. That's why it is Invention also applicable to an access system where the door lock has a Lock motor is controlled. Starting from the second extended position, namely lift the door handle or its linkage from the maximum eccentric and in transfer a fourth pull-out position, which is between the second Extend position and the third end position. In the extended position, the Lock motor activated.

The invention is also good in an emergency, if the electronics fail applicable, as for an access system without a lock motor. In this case there is no need simply the aforementioned fourth pull-out position and the door handle or its linkage can be adjusted manually from the minimum or maximum eccentric to the third Raise end position where the door lock is opened via mechanical control means becomes.

With an access system that controls the door lock via a lock motor, there is no risk of your hand getting caught if the door handle is out of its fourth pull-out position is moved back into its second extended position. The namely the door handle is returned to its first retracted position again electrically, where the eccentric opposite the door handle or its The linkage is turned back from the maximum eccentric to the minimum eccentric. Despite This return of the door handle to the first takes place under its force load Retreat position almost noiseless.

In the drawings, only the most essential parts of the invention Access system belonging assembly shown, its most important component Door handle 10 is. In the exemplary embodiment, the door handle is essentially one horizontal axis 11 in the sense of the movement arrows 12.1 to 12.3 of FIGS. 3 to 6 schwenkbewegbar. As will be shown in more detail here, there is a pull-fold handle in front. It is understood that the door handle 10 is also designed in a different way could be e.g. as a pivotable about a substantially vertical axis Pull handle.

The door handle 10 is in a housing 20, between two housing tabs 21 an axis 11 mounted. The door handle 10 is mounted on the axis 11 by two arms 13, 14 which are connected to one another by a cross member 15 can. The door handle 10, the arms 13, 14 and the cross member 15 form a fixed Handle linkage. A leg spring 16 is supported with its two legs between a stationary housing point 22 and the handle linkage. The spring 16 exercises on the door handle 10 one in the sense of the force arrow 17 of FIG. 3 Restoring force on the door handle 10.

According to FIG. 2, the two door handle arms 13, 14 pass through openings in the housing, which is fastened to the door by fastening means 23 and thereby in a recess on the inner surface 24 of those indicated by dash-dotted lines Door outer panel 25 comes to rest. 1, the outer door panel 25 omitted, which gives the view of the housing 20. The door handle 10 has plug-in links 18, 19 with which it can be used in corresponding recordings of the two Arms 13, 14 is coupled. One connector 18 comprises electrical contact means 28, which with corresponding counter contact means, not shown in detail in are electrically connected and via electrical lines from the arm 13 to lead further electrical control means in the vehicle. These electrical Control means perform functions to be explained in more detail when the handle is actuated. This electrical contact means come from electrical units 26, 27 which in Door handle 10 are integrated. These can consist of a capacitance 26 or an antenna exist with access authorization to unlock the door lock leading control means and / or from a membrane switch 27 in the end section of the door handle 10 exist, which is intended for securing this actuating means. The other plug-in member 19 provides a fastener 29 for a mechanical connection of the door handle 10 with the door linkage 13 to 15. Das Door linkage is then together with the door handle 10 in the direction of arrows 12.1 to 12.4 swiveling. One becomes mechanical fastening or latching expediently also in the area of the aforementioned first plug-in element 18 provide first arm 13.

As already mentioned, FIGS. 1 to 3 show the rest position of the components. As is apparent from FIG. 3, this is characterized in that the door handle 10 is completely lowered and ideally conforms to the outer contour of the Door outer panel 25 adjusts. In Fig. 3 the housing is omitted and the Arms 13, 14 have broken away in their storage area on the axis 11. This is also true for the following FIGS. 4 to 6. The door handle 10 is in its first, 3 illustrated by the auxiliary line 10.1 in Fig. 3, the following position "Retreat position" should be referred to. This withdrawal position 10.1 is through determines an eccentric 30, which is recognizable by a motor 31 shown in FIG. 1 is driven and in this retracted position 10.1 in one in FIG the auxiliary line 30.1 marked "rest position". In this rest position 30.1 the eccentric 30 acts on the arm 13 with its minimum eccentric is congruent with the second arm 14 visible in FIG. 3. In his Retracted position 10.1, the door handle 10 is so close to the outer door panel 25 indicates that, as can be seen at 32 from FIG. 2, there is insufficient space for the human hand for gripping the handle 10 is given.

The door handle 10 can be provided on the back with sealing means 33, 34 which in the Retreat position 10.1 for dirt and water tightness both in the area 1 and 2 recognizable contact means 28 as well as in the area of a Lock cylinder 35 worry. Although in the illustrated embodiment, a Access authorization to door lock 40 via electronic means provided, however, for safety reasons, in an emergency, if the electronics fails in the invention also a mechanical key for securing and Unlock a door lock 40, the vehicle side Identification means of the lock cylinder 35. The sealant 34 covers in the Retracted position 10.1 of the door handle 10 on the key insertion opening 36 End of the lock cylinder 35. 1 are in the Retracted position of both the lock cylinder 35 and the housing attachment 23 not accessible, which also applies to the described handle attachment 29 according to FIG. 2 behind the cladding applies.

Unauthorized persons have access to the vehicle through means of security denied and even the handling of the door handle largely difficult. To yourself To obtain access, the beneficiary must use their access authorization Perform measures by associated means of identification in the vehicle be accepted. To do this, all known ways can access system according to the invention can be applied. The outside of the Vehicle access authorization means can be obtained from a mechanical Keys or an electric remote control key or - at a so-called "keyless entry system" - on one of the Authorized available smart card based. In the latter case, the Entitled the vehicle to a minimum distance from an as Identification means in the vehicle acting transponder and testifies his will to get into the vehicle by an additional measure, e.g. by touching the capacitance switch 26 already mentioned on the handle side one of these ways determined access authorization causes Identification means that oppose electrical and / or mechanical control means a door lock can be set effectively.

One of these control means is a switch, not shown, which is on the already mentioned motor 31, the eccentric 30 in the apparent from Fig. 4, by the Auxiliary line 30.2 marked "work situation" transferred. In this working situation 30.2 acts its eccentric maximum on the handle arm 13 against its restoring force 17 a. As a result, the door handle 10 reaches the second one marked 10.2 Handle position, which will be referred to below as the "extended position". at this transition, the door handle 10 is around the arrow 12.1 shown in FIG. 3 forcibly moved.

Another possibility of the extended position 10.2 can be that starting from the withdrawn position 10.1 according to FIGS. 1 to 3, via a Remote control key the associated electrical control means in the vehicle unlocked. It is also useful for certain operating situations of the vehicle Reversal of the door handle 10 from its retracted position 10.1 in its Extend position 10.2 to use. There is a special stop for this of the vehicle engine. This is determined by sensors. The sensors conduct electrical and / or mechanical path, the extended position 10.2 of the door handle 10 on.

In the extended position 10.2 shown in FIG. 4, the door handle 10 can, as by Dotted line indicated, from above and / or from below by a human hand 37 conveniently recorded and manually in the sense of the swivel movement arrow 12.2 to there are transferred to a fourth handle position indicated by dash-dotted lines there is marked by the auxiliary line 10.3. This position 10.3 is in FIG. 5 shown and will be referred to below as "pull-out position". At this The pivotal movement 12.2 has then of course the associated handle linkage 13 to 15 with pivoted. The eccentric 30, however, is in its working position 30.2 stopped. This protrudes into this pivoting movement path 12.2 of the handle assembly Actuator of a microswitch 38 recognizable from FIG. 1. The Actuator can e.g. with a control surface 39 on the aforementioned traverse 15 interact. This microswitch 38 is part of the electrical Control means for the door lock 40 indicated schematically in FIGS. 3 to 6 act. The control means can be provided on one in the door lock 40 The lock motor act and the door lock 40 in its open position of the door convict. Then the door can be moved. As can be seen from FIG. 5, against the action of the handle restoring force 17 - in the extended position 10.3 Handle arm 13 of the door linkage from the stationary eccentric 30, as from the free Distance 48 can be seen. The aforementioned swivel movement path 12.2 can be relatively small and can e.g. only be five millimeters.

If the door handle 10 detected in FIG. 5 is released after the door is opened, then this moves due to the handle restoring force 17 already mentioned several times automatically first in the previous extended position 10.2 according to FIG. 4 back. This extended position 10.2 is retained when the door is closed again and the locking mechanism of the door lock 40 on mechanical or electrical Way is returned to its closed position. In the second Extended position 10.2, the grip arm 14 is positively supported on the eccentric 30, whereby this is in its eccentric maximum 30.2. The door can go through Apply pressure to the extended handle 10.2. The Initial situation with the retracted position 10.1 of the door handle 10 according to FIGS. 1 to 3 can then be done in different ways, not just the type of chosen Access authorization depends, but also on the operating state of the vehicle.

The authorized person is in the vehicle and becomes the engine started, sensors ensure that at a certain speed the started vehicle, e.g. at five kilometers per hour, all door handles 10 automatically move from their extended position 10.2 to their retracted position 10.1. The door handle 10 is lowered in the direction of arrow 12.1 'of FIG. 3 by Activate a switch that either rotates the eccentric motor 31 or turns back until the eccentric 30 from its working position 30.2 of FIG Rest position 30.1 of FIG. 3 has reached. The handle restoring force 17 ensures that with the rotation of the eccentric 30, a damped return movement of the Grip linkage results. The door handle 10 practically reaches its retracted position 10.1 noiseless. This can be associated with an automatic reversal of the Opening the control means serving to lock the door into their ineffective position.

If you want the vehicle to stand still in its extended position 10.2 Lower the door handle 10 from the outside in the direction of arrow 12.1 ', this is done the actuation commands provided in the context of the selected access system. In the present case, the membrane switch 27 described in the door handle 10 can be used become. If this is actuated, the rotation of the already described takes place Eccentric 30 takes place and the vehicle is rendered ineffective by the Door lock acting control means secured. Another option is there in operating an electronic remote control key that can be operated with the identification means communicating to him in the vehicle on the eccentric motor 31 acts and adjusts the eccentric 30 in the manner already described. Also after reaching the retracted position 10.1 of the door handle 10, the Actuation of the lock 40 serving control means set ineffective; the Vehicle is secured.

The access system according to the invention remains functional even when the the electronics described above should fail. This is because there is a third one in FIG. 5 and 6 illustrated by the auxiliary line 10.4 handle position of the door handle, which by a manual pivoting of the door handle 10 in the sense of the pivoting arrow 12.3 of Fig. 6 is reached. In this third position 10.4, the door lock 40 mechanically unlocked and mechanically opened. Because this is in the present Embodiment only happens in an emergency, this third handle position 10.4 should "End position" are referred to.

Das ändert sich erst in der Endstellung 10.4.The mode of operation of this end position 10.4 is shown in FIG. 6. Now that is Front end of the locking cylinder accessible. A mechanical key 51 can inserted and the door lock 40 unlocked by turning the key. In In this end position 10.4, the door lock 40 can be operated by means of the key 51 of course also secure. A lever 42 mounted on the axis 11 was in the previous positions 10.1 to 10.3 not operated and was in the by the auxiliary line 42.1 marked rest position. In this rest position existed 3, an angular distance 50, recognizable from FIG. 3, between one and the lever 42 belonging control arm and the handlebar. That only changes in the End position 10.4.

The lever 42 is mounted on the axis 11 and is formed here with two arms 43, 44. A leg spring 46 shown in FIG. 1 acts on the lever 42. One end the spring 46 engages under a fixed housing point 22 ', while the other Spring end of the lever 42 in the sense of arrow 47 of FIG. 3 spring-loaded, so that this normally rests on a rotary stop 49 of the housing and the already mentioned rest position 42.1 of the lever 42 generated. This rest position 42.1 lies, as already mentioned, in the three handle positions described above 3 to 4 before. This is because the lever 42 with its for his Pivotal control arm 43 normally in said Distance 50 from the handle arm 14 cooperating with it. In the fourth Handle position 10.3 of Fig. 5, the extended position 10.3 can be at most one Contact between the handle arm 14 and the control arm 43 of the lever 42 take place. The lever 42 is not yet moved.

If the electronics in the vehicle fail, there is still an opening in the invention of the door lock 40 possible. Starting from the withdrawn position 10.1 Door handle 10 moved in the direction of arrow 12.3 to an end position 10.4. On the the last section of the handle arm 14 meets the control arm 43 and takes the lever 42 into the switching position identified by an auxiliary line 42.2. To the the other arm 44 of the lever 42 is a rod 45, which with one on the door lock 40th provided arm 41 is connected. This lock arm 41 is located normally, in analogy to the lever 42, in a by an auxiliary line 41.1 marked rest position, in which the door lock 40 mechanically unaffected and in the previous electrical control via a lock motor in its opening position can be transferred as described. After this Swiveling the lever actuating arm 44 into the switching position 42.2 Lock arm 41 but illustrated in FIG. 6 by the auxiliary line 41.2 Transferred opening position, which opens the door lock 40 mechanically.

With this pivoting of the lever 42, the above-described eccentric motor remains 31 at rest. 6, the eccentric 30 is in the third end position 10.4 unchanged in its rest position 30.1, as shown in FIG. 3. The eccentric 30 participates its minimum 30.1. The pivoting 12.3 of FIG. 6 therefore occurs a particularly large free distance 48 'between the handle arm 14 and the Eccentric 30 of the switching position 42.2 of the lever 42 does not matter plays. The pivoting movement of the lever 42 takes place against the action of Spring load 47, which is considerably greater than the handle restoring force for the following reasons 17 should be trained.

The force differences between 47 and 17 result from using Springs 46, 16 with different spring constant sizes. That affects naturally on the manual pivoting movements 10.2 and 10.3 of the door handle 10. Normally, with functional electronics, only that in Fig. 4 falls through Movement arrow 12.2 illustrates handle actuation, which is only compared to the handle restoring force 17 needs to take place in order to pull the door handle 10 from FIG. 5 apparent extension position 10.3. As has already been highlighted the leverage 47 has not yet taken effect. It only happens how already mentioned, in the case of the manual Swiveling movement in the direction of arrow 12.3 of Fig. 6. The then effective significantly greater leverage 47 acts as normal handle operation "Torque lock". The human hand 37 feels after reaching the Pull-out position 10.3 a "stop signal" due to the spring resistance that then occurs. The person operating the handle 10 is signaled to the preceding one to have completed manual actuation path 12.2 properly. If necessary, could this torque lock by locking elements between the handle and the housing 20 are reinforced. The higher effort 47 in manual Continued pivoting 12.3 of the door handle 10 does not interfere with the Ease of use of the door handle 10 because, as I said, the end position 10.4 only exceptionally, namely in an "emergency".

The latter will be changed if the access system described above does not by electrical or electronic control means, but exclusively by mechanical control means to act on the door lock 40. In this case, too can the assembly shown in the embodiment of the invention Access systems are used. The training and mode of operation of most Components can remain unchanged, which is the inventive Access system a large field of application in electrical, mechanical and opened with the described combined electromechanical control means. Then a full manual swivel is up to the third handle position 10.4 Fig. 6 required, while the fourth handle position 10.3 described above are omitted can. In all other respects, the effects described remain. Because of it Removal of the fourth handle position 10.3 to a striking torque threshold is not arrives, you will the spring force 47 acting on the lever 42 against the can lower the above-described embodiment. This affects namely already in the normal case when the handle is actuated between FIGS. 4 and 6. Also this mechanical solution then has three handle positions, namely 10.1, 10.2 and 10.4.

It is of independent importance that the door handle 10 is the new one To give function to cover means for the front end of a locking cylinder be arranged as identification means in the vehicle. That is, however in Connection with the special features of claim 1, already in the sub-claim 7 mentioned and already explained in detail at the beginning of the specific description Service.
